Beautiful Dog's doing what they were made to do. Run Free. Sadly for most Galgos. They only get to run free and Happy over the Rainbow Bridge. They are so abused in every way by the Galgueros. Thanks to GDS ,a wonderful rescue centre in Murthia Spain, who rescue as many as they can and find loving homes for them. They are a very special breed with a gentle sensitive nature. I have an Irish Greyhound. 😻😍💝💓🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

To those who have never owned a Galgo or Greyhound, they are THE art form of the canine world. Sleek, loving, quiet, yes they are lazy, sleeping at least 18 hours a day, but very Majestic. And their speed is beyond reason. running 40-45 mile per hour and unlike the other dogs they reach full speed in 2 to 4 strides. they literally explode off the line. Overall they are very loving with everyone. My Greyhound passed away last November, she was 12 1/2 years old, and i miss her, she was my best friend and companion. One of these days I will adopt another one, as soon as my wife is ready.
Beautifull to see them freedom, and respect, they are so elegant and beautifull😍 into the nature ❤. Since XII centery they were in French court The Dogs 🐕 emblem.
THIS is the right way all greyhounds and dogs should always run; free, for fun, no muzzle and enjoying every second. These people who treat them with respect and consideration deserve only the best in life. Bless them.

My rescue boy now 10y, still enjoying the free run, rabbits outrun him now but it never kills the joy of there natural instints. And you know what he knows to whom he needs to come back 😁

Greyhounds are usually a little bit taller, chest is larger and tail is longer than galgos. Theses are small differences, they are quite the same.

There is still a track at Torrevieja, this might be close but more a training track more inland.
