Been going back and forth between this and a LG B9 for the same price in the US at the same size (55"). OLED looks better, but am worried about dead pixels, burn-in, and pixel degradation over time. I'm still using a Samsung plasma from 2007 and while I don't know that the next TV needs to last as long I'm not the type who wants to replace in just a couple years. Tech Giant. Love your videos and I wanted your opinion if I may..... So I have an LG C9 for the Office and picked up a LG B9 for the bedroom today, however im after a 65" for the lounge. I have my eyes on another LG B9 but watch a lot of Sky Sports (Football and Sky Sports News) so im concerned with possible burn in. I can literally watch football all day, especially during Super Sundays. Don't want any logos burning into the TV! Would you recommend the B/C9, or would I be better off going for the Q90R 65", which seems to have an excellent and bright screen, but not the black levels of OLED. What you think..?
I always press like before watching the video :) can you please when trying this tv or other scroll over regular channels hd or lower quality channels so we can see how the tv performs with different qualities other than retail mode and 4K shot videos, also maybe playing some movies on Netflix and football soccer games, some also say that qled can be too bright and I noticed when you open the menu down below the white icons like Netflix is very bright also movies subtitles can be very bright, maybe changing different modes like standard natural dynamic or movie mode will fix that, thanks a lot for your efforts kind man, greetings from Egypt :)
I was worried about the storage space ..I was told it's 4gb...but is it enough to install most of the apps ?? And one more thing I was told is taizen os slows down after few years ...is it so ?
Which HDMI Cable would you recommend for this TV to connect my Samsung Blue Ray and my SetBox TV Channels provider. and also which Optical Cable as well. Thanks.
For anyone that bought this tv in EU, did you guys get one or two remotes? In my country it only ships with one remote (smart one, without the numbers). What's the model number on the other remote? I would like to order one, since I like having numbers on my remote. I got 65 inch version for 1299 EUR in an early black friday deal, I think it's quite a steal at that price.
👍👍U r doing well keep it up bro. One doubt:can I play standard PS4 in this tv without any lag/sluttering, coz I heard that this tv(120hz)produces new frames to compensate PS4 30fps or 60 fps games?. I want to play both ps4 and Ps5 in this tv is it OK?
Hi Tech Giant, i bought the 49" 3 days ago. Only after i bought the 49" Q80T i see its 60HZ and not 120HZ. I only use my TV to watch TV, i do not play games. My question is does the Q80T 55" with the 120HZ have a smoother picture in the sense of less frame choppiness and judder when just using it as a normal day to day TV over the 49" 60HZ?
Great video man! I have a question. I just purchased this model a couple of weeks ago. The 55" version. I have my PS5 hooked up on HDMI 4. And my Amazon firestick on HDMI 3 EARC. Whenever i ebable HDMI-CEC in the settings to enable dolby atmos EARC in the sound settings. My PS5 turns in automatically everytime. And everytime i turn on the PS5. Any reason why or how? I really want dolby atmos for my movies but HDMI CEC has to be enabled first and the moment i enable it. The PS5 turns on by itself all the time. Any way to get around this? Thank you!
@@Dr.WhetFarts Well, most people prefer Oled but I still prefer Qled so I don't have to worry about burn-in, which I do since I want to game a lot on the tv and it's not all victories for the Oled since as far as I know the Qled is brighter at up to 2000 nits compared to around 700 for Oled? and Qled has less issues with surrounding light hitting the tv + the colors pop more on a Qled if I'm not mistaken and even though this is less realistic I think I would still prefer an extra boost in colors. Still most find Oled better but for gaming I would go with Qled although sadly Samsung's 2020 models don't support G-sync if I'm not mistaken? While LG's Oled do support it which makes it kinda hard for me to decide which television I want. I want a Qled with G-sync XD But my only options are Qled without it or Oled with it.
I personally like QLed better than Oled especially these higher end models. They do excellent with blacks and are so much more vibrant and colorful. Qleds have come a looong way in the last 5 years

Bought the QLED 80T 65” in March. I’ve been really disappointed with the picture. I wish I still had my old Samsung from 9 years ago which felt like the quality was better. Looked like the people on screen were literally in the room. What are tricks with this tv? I don’t want to give up, because I love Samsung, but if I can’t get this to work as it should I guess I’ll sell it and be out a ton of money. Pretty sure the shows and movies I’m watching are 4K and still blurry pics or takes a while for distorted pictures to focus. Help! Anyone! I know this can’t be right.
Same question too... I've got the pre order for the ps5 won't be used for anything else other than watching football. Any help really appreciated. Coming from 1080p so guessing there cant be much difference... 1100 for the q80t c9 is 1599... 500 is a lot of money if there's minimal difference

Thank you for doing this. I bought the 80t 75 inch a s love it. It is 85lbs and one needs help to move it
Hey mate I’m thinking of grabbing one , how you finding it and how’s it like with gaming if you play any?
In your opinion, should you buy a soundbar for this TV even though you listed the sound quality as one of the best points about this TV
To be honest it all depends on the size of your room,so probably best to just test it out first.
Hi what is the motion like?
‘For such a small TV’- Since when was 55 inches small for a TV? I’m still using a 1080p 40 inch Samsung😅.
What is the best tv to bay to Day for ps4 / ps5
Do you see any degradation in collor when game mode is on?
Hello! What 4k Samsung TV do recommend for the XBOX SERIES X?
Yes, 55 and up has 120hz panel’s
For regular video watching don't worry about 120hz
What home theater receiver are you using mate?
It's a Pioneer vsx-930
Thank you!
Should be in the PS5 power/av options ?
Haw you think which is the better SONY KD-55XH9505 or Samsung QE55Q90TA for movis on netflix yt not to games.
What about viewing angle?
Is samsung qled 80t tv suitable for ps5 console ?
Can you pls tell me is the model QA55Q80TAKXXM similar to the one in your video? Bcos i only hv this model in the country im at.. thanks
Thanks Paul!
My pleasure
Would you make this your main TV over the OLED? Also will you be getting a review unit of LG’s new CX?
Personally I prefer the OLED's,and YES I will be getting the CX,VERY soon 😉
Obviously you don't go back to LCD after seeing OLED. In dark scenes LCD is simply trash in comparison.
I want a Qled with G-sync XD
But my only options are Qled without it or Oled with it.
I personally like QLed better than Oled especially these higher end models. They do excellent with blacks and are so much more vibrant and colorful. Qleds have come a looong way in the last 5 years
Hi mate, good job. Can you please confirm that TH-cam app runs ok and smooth without any problems? Cheers.
Yes mate it runs fine.
@@TheTechGiantTH-cam so if you had to pick one tv samsung q70t or the Sony x900h for gaming and movies which would. You choose as your overal day to day TV. Becauze I have the ps5 and Xbox series s pre ordered and want the best for them.
@Thug9030 do not get the x900h. I had it for 2 weeks and the tv died. Literally no power at all. Took it back to Best Buy and swapped it for the Q80T. Plus the Q80T is actually better for gaming
I just bought it and since my gf is not helping me set it up until tomorrow, Just looking at the box and watching this video 😅
Great Vid
Thank you
Thanks for the vid, I’ve been trying to decide between the Q90 and Q80 in 75”.
q90
@@brunoneves305 I don't think the differences justify the $400 difference.
Have you noticed any ghosting ?? Iv been hearing g rumors of it ghosting pretty bad.
To be honest,i don't believe in ghosts 😁
Is that a yes or a no alot of people buy this tv for gaming but if theres ghosting going on it's a deal breaker especially when not everybody can afford these expensive TVs
@Jeyabalasingam P thank you!! I'm tore between getting the q90t or the new vizio when it drops soon...
Great review! wondering when you will do one for the Samsung Frame...
That should be coming in a few weeks
I had the 2020 Frame, very nice for movies, great upscaling
BUT the game mode with most processing off is horrible
Would not recommend for gaming
Do you have a review for the Q90t? I have one and I find the picture is awful no matter what settings I use?
Sorry not yet i don't.
LG C9 or q80? Thanks sir!
LG C9 would be my choice, but the Q80T is a very good TV and a great alternative for those who don't want OLED.
Same question too... I've got the pre order for the ps5 won't be used for anything else other than watching football.
Any help really appreciated. Coming from 1080p so guessing there cant be much difference... 1100 for the q80t c9 is 1599... 500 is a lot of money if there's minimal difference
