The scariest part of this is how fast-acting the new virus strain is. I mean, in previous RE media, the infected usually show symptoms prior to becoming zombies, and the process is gradual. For the infection in Death Island, the infected turn into zombies instantaneously. No warning symptoms, slow turn, just instant zombification. I know the virus is pretty much airborne, but it was never THIS fast-acting before... If they had the durability of the Resident Evil 2 remake zombies, they'd pretty much be unstoppable.

Chris has a blue umbrella/Albert Wesker model even though this is two years before the B.S.A.A started working with them. He lost his original in 1998 at the mansion. Jill has her Revelations A1 model even though the cqi artist goofed up and programmed in her original 92, and Claire's is just some random gun she owns. All this is from an official pamphlet from the movie.

This movie was honestly pretty boring. Especially when compared to previous ones. Sure Vendetta had a pretty confusing plot but the action scenes were really damn good. Here everything is meh including action scenes which are very few. And honestly - they've put all of the RE protagonists from the main games in one movie to fight off.....a filler villain who had no impact on previous and later events in movies and games whatsoever. I would've undestood if this was Albert Wesker reborn or something but THIS? This is just pointless.

This was actually one of the better RE films. It isn't a masterpiece, but it was at least entertaining. Jill had the best ark in this film. She was working herself to the bone to make up for what she did under Wesker's control. Redemption doesn't come easy, but at times, Jill didn't appear to want redemption. It was like she was punishing herself instead.

Spoilers Alert!!!! A detail that very few thought of was this, that Chris Redfield, Claire Redfield and Leon Scott Kennedy may have been enhanced by an enhanced T-Virus. Yes, the three heroes were conveniently infected with a more advanced strain of the Tyrant Virus, which makes infected humans stronger, with quick reflexes and acrobats, as well as enhanced stamina. Of course, Rebeca Chambers saved them in time from becoming advanced zombies, but let's remember that Doctor Chambers injected an antiviral for a known form of the T-Virus, created by the Umbrella Corporation, but not for this advanced strain. So although it nullified the characters' zombification process, the vaccine did not completely eliminate this advanced form. And without taking into account that this T-Virus has a higher infection rate, certainly, from the time of infection until Rebeca heals them, the virus may have rewritten Chris, Claire and Leon's organism at a cellular level, just as it happened with to Jill Valentine in Raccoon City. And if it's a correct hypothesis, Chris Redfield, Claire Redfield and Leon Scott Kennedy, three combatants at the peak of the human condition, will present their enhanced skills of speed, reflexes and strength, making them even more advanced as Jill Valentine's. And another factor that the advanced T-Virus could bring to the three characters is the delay of their human old age, confirmed by Jill, who chronologically in Death Island is forty-one years old, shows to have a face and an athletic and strong body of a twenty-four-year-old woman, and that could happen to Leon and the Redfield brothers. What can it mean for us that our protagonists will not lose their role in old age, thanks to the T-Virus.
This virus uses the T-virus as a base, but overall it is a slightly different virus that is weaker than the regular T-virus. So most likely none of this will happen. Plus, we already have RE7 and RE8. It had nothing to do with events of DI, so already nothing had happened.

K spoiler The villain of the movie confirmed that he had mini bio drones which are mosquitoes with the virus and they can infect people without being bit or touched by a zombie and they can’t really even be seen. He can control who gets infected and who doesn’t the villain knew Chris, Jill, Claire, and Leon. That’s why they didn’t get infected.

A detail that very few thought of was this, that Chris Redfield, Claire Redfield and Leon Scott Kennedy may have been enhanced by an enhanced T-Virus.
Yes, the three heroes were conveniently infected with a more advanced strain of the Tyrant Virus, which makes infected humans stronger, with quick reflexes and acrobats, as well as enhanced stamina.
Of course, Rebeca Chambers saved them in time from becoming advanced zombies, but let's remember that Doctor Chambers injected an antiviral for a known form of the T-Virus, created by the Umbrella Corporation, but not for this advanced strain. So although it nullified the characters' zombification process, the vaccine did not completely eliminate this advanced form.
And without taking into account that this T-Virus has a higher infection rate, certainly, from the time of infection until Rebeca heals them, the virus may have rewritten Chris, Claire and Leon's organism at a cellular level, just as it happened with to Jill Valentine in Raccoon City.
And if it's a correct hypothesis, Chris Redfield, Claire Redfield and Leon Scott Kennedy, three combatants at the peak of the human condition, will present their enhanced skills of speed, reflexes and strength, making them even more advanced as Jill Valentine's.
And another factor that the advanced T-Virus could bring to the three characters is the delay of their human old age, confirmed by Jill, who chronologically in Death Island is forty-one years old, shows to have a face and an athletic and strong body of a twenty-four-year-old woman, and that could happen to Leon and the Redfield brothers.
What can it mean for us that our protagonists will not lose their role in old age, thanks to the T-Virus.
This virus uses the T-virus as a base, but overall it is a slightly different virus that is weaker than the regular T-virus. So most likely none of this will happen. Plus, we already have RE7 and RE8. It had nothing to do with events of DI, so already nothing had happened.

This new variant of the Tyrant Virus has a much faster infection rate than Umbrella's T-Virus, and the zombies of this variant have higher strength, are more acrobatic, and have faster reflexes than the original Raccoon City zombies. They gave relatively tougher work to five veterans of the war against bioterrorism on Death Island.
So this cure created for the Umbrella Corporation's T-Virus is not enough to 100% eliminate this advanced strain of the Tyrant Virus, without considering the time between the flagrant infection until its vaccine, added to its speed of infection. Inevitably this Death Island strain rewrote Chris Redfield, Claire Redfield and Leon Scott Kennedy's bodies at the cellular level, and these three heroes may indeed exhibit the same unusual characteristics as Jill Valentine, especially in aging very slowly.

@@thechallengerofgame7883 There are later points that prove this theory, Chris who was already at the peak of human condition as a fighter, had his ability raised to superhuman levels. In Resident Evil VILLAGE, he managed to destroy the head of Lycans with just one punch, Chris Redfield managed to kill beings with capabilities superior to a human being with just one punch.
Not to mention that the older Redfield is aging very slowly. Chris is already forty-eight years old in the VILLAGE, but in appearance he appears to be much younger.

The villain of the movie confirmed that he had mini bio drones which are mosquitoes with the virus and they can infect people without being bit or touched by a zombie and they can’t really even be seen. He can control who gets infected and who doesn’t the villain knew Chris, Jill, Claire, and Leon. That’s why they didn’t get infected.
