I like how in a world with zombies, Chris is wearing nothing that protects his arms😂
There's surprisingly a lot of people in the BSAA that don't wear something to protect their arms from zombie bites. What's even more surprising is that Umbrella Corps established that the mercenaries in that game wear arm guards that protects them from bites. Makes sense since that people often put their arms up to protect them from attacks. As terrible as Umbrella Corps was, it'd be nice to see some of that stuff in other RE games and animated films.

This movie sacrificed a lot of realism for the sake of excitement. For example, the highly trained BSAA members didn’t even recognize the zombies and even went up to say hello, but ended up dying. Meanwhile, Chris, who had the least protection, managed to survive every time
Because these are not BSAA but Mexican army. Can't disagree about Chris though.

@@jgycir have you even seen the movie? Those aren't T-Virus zombies or C-Virus, those are A-Virus (I know, a lot of viruses for virtually the same things XD) which seem to possess a certain level of intelligence, something like C-Virus zombies
The only justification I can give this is that generally zombies are showing up during major viral terrorist attacks and isolated incidents with few survivors. So unless youve witnessed one you arent particularly familiar with what a zombie's behaviour is compared to a seriously inured person in shock.
If you can imagine every major terrorist attack that has taken place since 2000, the beyond overwhelming majority of us have not been there to see it first hand. Thats how to world of resident evil is.
But of course, the actual answer is just for some reason people in the RE universe post-BSAA still dont know what a zombie is.

A lot of people in this comment section clearly didn't watch the film as they think the soldiers Chris is with are BSAA, they are not, the film states at the beginning that these guys are Mexican army, with Chris being the BSAA officer assigned to the operation as an advisor.

Damnation was pretty good. Although I haven't seen Degeneration, how did they go this wrong? Maybe in a future movie it would be nice to see Lycans fighting BSAA soldiers.
the actual clearance is pretty good, though Chris should really move much more quickly out of the fatal funnel of the door (I guess that isn't so much of a worry vs. zombies) but then they just lose it.

It seems Chris loves crazy emotions, he didn't have enough with the Spencer mansion. I would have liked more to watch a readaptation of RE1 with the STARS team and the BRAVO team.
Here they mix too many things it seems and act quite confidently for what they were supposed to know what they were going for.

The men with Chris are regular soldiers, maybe even special forces but not BSAA. BSAA are trained to deal with bioweapons and zombies.
