I’m 50/50 on whether to get Mac pro or Max studio when it gets updated. Got a Mac mini pro 64gb ram but it’s not enough memory there is not enough IO at the back of the mini. Mac Studio should be a bit better as it provides a few more thunder bolt ports and ram but the Mac Pro has got more HDMI ports, more IO on the rear and you can add internal SSDs for storage. Just wish it wasn’t so damn expensive.

During my earlier computer life between late 90s to early 2010s I used to do near-annual computer upgrade but as years have gone by I realized not only it was unnecessary, it was actually totally crazy and that hurt my wallet way too much. Nowadays I only upgrade computer when it can no longer efficiently handle the media files I am dealing with. My trash can Mac Pro surprisingly lasted 7 years. And judging by the type of stuff I am doing these days my M1 Max Studio probably will be fine for another 2 years minimum, unless circumstance is drastically changed.
My biggest disappointment with mac mini base model is ssd storage 256gb and it's speed sucks, weaker gpu, base model should have 12 core gpu, no microphone
I realized after I filmed this that I forgot about the Mac Pro, but it's probably best if everyone else forgets it too 😂
Forgot or "didn't purchase because it's way too overpriced when the Mac Studio exists"? 😂😂

What’s Mac Pro? Lol
Your knowledge and reviews are the best on the web.
I wish Apple would offer an M4 Pro option for the iMacs.
Pro needs fan, it won't fit in imac slim design
That would affect Mac mini and Mac studio sales, which is why they’ll never do that
Nice video.. what are those speakers .. is it edifier? , if so what model

Still rocking my m1 max Mac studio and apple studio display. No reason for me to upgrade.
Mac Mini is probably the best value I’ve seen in any computer I’ve ever seen, and it comes from apple lol, they are maybe trying a new strategy.
can add more memory to it?
