Hey Chris. This is technically a Capt. Willard-ish case due to the hump around the crown. However this is not super exact as some of the curves on the underside of the case are quite a bit flatter than on a Willard. I also guess the lug width is 20 on this right? In terms of something for the review, I think paying extra attention to how easy it is to operate the crown and how well it integrates into the case when fully screwed down would be interesting. This style of crown guards make the design and grip of the crown quite difficult to get right.
As always you are right on the ball! The crown engagement on this one sucks! Biggest gripe about this one for sure, it is quite difficult to get re threaded because of the crown guards for sure. 20mm lug width yes.
@@MirrlyonTime Yeah, that is difficult to get right on this sort of the case. Another thing to pay extra attention to is the bezel action. On a lot of titanium cases, this feels very tinny and gritty. I am also not super sure how easy it is to distinguish between a titanium case and a bead-blasted steel case. Maybe the weight.
@@AnCar88 yeah this one is very light so I’m certain it’s titanium no issues there. The bezel action on this one is pretty decent but getting the turn started is a bit gritty but once she starts she has nice clicks and action
I am glad you decided to comment your unboxings again! The music only things were so boring. This watch won’t beat my Seiko Turtle, because it’s original. :D But it is a very good looking watch. It reminds me of my titanium ripoff of the SKX. And I love to wear that one. Before that watch will leave my collection, the Oris Aquis has to go for sure. 🕐⚙️🍸
The case finishing/brushing is very nice. I would tend to buy this on AE and not the site listed due to price, and my experience on AE with any previous issues. They are greate to deal with. Cheers!!!
Not sure if this exact model is available on aliexpress but the brand owner did say he wanted to focus the attention for this collab to the website, aliexpress would be better for me as well in the long run with affiliate links, but quite pleased to collab on this one it’s a nice piece
I think it’s terrific, but the only problem is the Addiesdive and Steeldive versions exist and when they are sale, they are sold for some ridiculous prices. Looking forward to the full review though.
Fair point but I don’t think (correct me if I’m wrong) that they offer titanium versions like this one. This titanium case is definitely the star of the show on this watch it’s fantastic
Nice looking watch Tandorio made. Like how they match the dial to the case metal
@@watchsixto thanks pal!
Great looking watch. I think it's would look awesome on FKM or Sailcloth
Keep these fantastic videos coming 🎉
Hey space! Yes I agree, fkm would be my choice, or even a nice titanium bracelet and make it a little more money, would be another great option.
Beautiful watch...love the mat finish on the case. Nice job!
Thanks m8, yeah the finish on this is very nice and super light due to the titanium, it’s a nice piece!
Nice one. I like it.
@@sabeaniebaby it’s pretty great, not perfect but it’s a fantastic watch
Its nice. Another turtle. Coincidence, I'm wearing my steel dive version today. I haven't convinced myself to buy another version yet.
@@billsomerset238 steel dive a great version sd1953?

@@NaNByZero thanks Nan I’m super impressed with the case on this one for sure the bead blasted look on the titanium is fantastic.

@@MirrlyonTime Nope I don’t believe they do. So hopefully they can grab the people who might want one in Titanium or an additional one in Titanium.
