@@DharshanRasiahI'm so glad you appreciate small watches! Honestly, even if you have a big wrist, there is something about the proportions of small watches and how they suit a person's wrist. After wearing smaller watches, it's harder to go back to wearing large ones
🤣 Hilarious comment! Seiko really does seem to be pumping out watches inspired from their past watches, but with worse specifications and quality. Thanks for watching
Great features, awesome measurements for small wrist, but I still can’t get over that bright orange. Maybe in a few days, come Halloween, I will. Thanks for this video!
@@wblackburn0316 😂. It is quite annoying. Funnily enough, when my friend asked me what time it was, and I gave her an approximate time, she looked at me and said, "How does the watch-girl not know what time it is?" 🤣
I went with their larger black dialed 41mm and 22mm lug width Titanium model. And it was only $90. It's worth every cent. A true spec monster and cool homage of the SKX. I replaced the original rubber strap for a nicer FKM one and the look is very serious and higher end.
Lovely review! I do miss the chapter ring 😅 The only thing to keep in mind with ali express watches is that they are unlikely to be pressure tested. The skx was iso certified and individually pressure tested. It is still fine for desk diving but I wouldn’t trust them even in a pool unless tested prior.
Hi TT! TY for another variation of the Tandorio line. I do like this orange dialed diver…really sporty looking and unique. Really looks good on your wrist! Try doing a wrist-shot during the intro…we want to know what’s in your collection!
Thank you for watching! I'm glad that you like the orange - it's quite a contentious colour. I'll be sure to do a wrist check at the start of my other videos.
Regarding the disappointing bezel action, that's fairly common on titanium divers afaik. I've become a fan of titanium, though, especially with a hardness coating like Citizen's "Duratect". It's just a fact that a lighter watch is going to be comfier (all else being equal). If I bought a gold watch I'd want to feel that weight on my wrist (and know that it's luxurious gold), but usually I just want a comfortable watch on my wrist that's appropriate for where I'm going & what I'm doing. Here's a recommendation for a nice tool-y titanium watch absolutely packed with features: Citizen Promaster Land AT6080 (or PMD56). These are still JDM models I believe. I chose the AT6080-53L (blue dial).
Thank you for watching! Thanks for informing me about how common an underwhelming bezel action is on titanium watches - I didn't know that! I appreciate the recommendation, and I'll definitely check it out. After getting a titanium watch, I think I've realized that I enjoy the luster and the heft of stainless steel. Thank you for commenting, and have a great day!
@@TimeTickerOfficial Speaking of steel, I'm also curious to try 904L, famously used by Rolex, but also used by Ball & WISE. I'm particularly interested in WISE lately, but I want the "full 904L experience" which means I need the bracelet as well. Anyway I'll stay tuned! 👋
What a coincidence, I just purchased an orange face watch myself. It is one of those circle in a square watch like a Bell & Ross watches. I am into cushion case watches. The one I just got is a Lavaredo watch. The other watch you are wearing looks like my integrated band Tissot PRX barrel shape handsome looking watch, Gerald Genta design inspired.
Thank you for watching another one of my videos! Your watch sounds super interesting! I personally wanted an orange watch because I think my collection needs some dial colour variety 😂. The watch I was wearing is the Namoki "nrx", an homage to the prx. It's actually stunning. I'm a huge fan of the prx design, so it's been a blast reviewing this Namoki. It's not without its problems however, but I'll leave that to the review! Thanks for commenting!
The prices of the SKX are wild! Who knew they would become so expensive! For me shiny doesn't mean good. Shiny means chrome plated alloy haha. I love bead blaster finishing or brushed finishing. I think is a good looking timepiece! I do agree with you with the minute markers but perhaps they did it to differentiate the design from the SKX. Thanks for sharing and have a great Sunday!
Thank you for watching Johan! The SKX prices are crazy. Good to hear that you are more rational than me 😅. I really wanted to love the brushed titanium, but at this point in time, my brain is still hooked on stainless steel.
🤣 that's great to hear! I am also absolutely enamoured with my nrx. Same story here; haven't been able to take it off. The waffle dial, the polished chamfers, the articulating links... Chef's kiss. I'll get more into it in my review 😅
Very interesting video and nice watch and you are prepared and friendly, but I prefer the real slim case Seiko and "poor" materials of the genuine Seiko Skx (007, 009, or 011: 013 has a different case). Best regards. Massimo. P.S. What do you think about Vostok Amphibia watches?
Thanks for commenting! Honestly, no homages beat the skx in terms of its iconic status, but I believe this watch caters to the people who cannot get their hands on the original or don't want to pay a crazy price for it. I haven't had any hands on with a Vostok, but they do look like value-packed watches with a ton of historical ties. They don't seem like very versatile watches in terms of their design, but they seem like awesome tool watches

I held off getting an SKX homage and managed to get a pre-owned one on eBay instead at a very reasonable price (well under £200) .... The Tandorio looks fun though, just don't get it too wet
Thanks so much for watching and commenting! It's good to hear that other brands are keeping the minute markers 🤣. I still have to adjust the backwards second lollipop seconds hand. 100% the SKX is much more stealthy than a tuna or turtle.
@TimeTickerOfficial I'm tossing up between this watch and the stainless version and I honestly can't decide. I'm worried about it feeling too light and cheap. Any idea what grade titanium and have u noticed it scratching easily.

Yeah! Perhaps when the prices go down. In Canada, they are selling for 50+ and right now I'm not willing to pay that for a Casio
it might be a a tension spring in the bezel not a click spring that's why it feels mushy.
