I got the 840 G7 recently from my employer and then a few months later picked up a used 830 G7 for only a few hundred dollars for the overall general quality and also the upgradability. It's no MacBook Air with Apple M series chips but it will get the job done and it is still a great machine.
Supporting 60fps and performing 60fps are two entirely different concepts. The screen might be capable of that frame rate, but if the software/other hardware are bogging the fps down, you're not going to experience a full 60fps. You're lucky to get 30fps playing games on a business-class laptop.

i just received this laptop for work it seems for nice for just that wouldn’t game on it for sure but mine came with 16gb of ram!

What do you think about the hp elitebook 850 g7, probably not good for gaming?
I have a 840 g7 and it can only run roblox at 25 fps at lowest settings. I think thats enough
@@bobjones1999 Yes, those are more office laptops, so to speak, but I'm playing Minecraft and Football Manager on mine now, and they work great.

Good question mate. It does have HDMI and display port from the USB C port. I would assume yes. But I have not tested it.
