    Meanwhile i bought this Headset, thanks to your review, and its the best headset i ever had in this pricerange. I really didnt expect such a drastic difference at all, but it felt like cheating, as i could hear small things, like footsteps, or "crunch" when an enemy is walking nearby, even with covert sneakers on, or the rattling of his gun that gave them away. Absolutely incredible! I had the G Pro wired before but this is so much better for competitive gaming. I use the DAC without EQing. First day, it felt WAY too bass heavy and i tought id have to tune it a bit, but after two days i was used to the new sound and i dont even want to EQ anything. Its just plug and play, perfectly tuned out of the box, for my taste and COD.
    Thank you very much, u really did a great job pointing the advantages of this headset out. Id never looked at this, as it isnt as popular as other brands in that price range, but its pretty sure the best buy i could had made for my use case, which is 100% competitive gaming.
    Its also great for music, so nothing to worry about, only because its for eSports, doesnt mean it sounds bad for music. Casual mic is pretty good, but ofc a separate mic would always sound much better. But my friends immidiately mentioned how clear i sound with the casual mic.

    Dang man, you have my many thanks for including graph comparisons to the H6pro closed. I just got the h6 recently and while pretty damn impressed by the bass, the higher mids are unbearably painful to me. I've been trying to figure out if it's me or the headset with the problem, but I couldn't find any in-depth examinations of its sound profile until this video.
    The H1 looks pretty good, but because of that lack of swivel, it wouldn't work for me. My ears must be slightly angled or something, I require some decent swivel for comfort.

    It could just be me, but the pro and casual mics I could barley tell the difference in background noise. Mabye a bit loud, however I would say the best option to use is casual as the pro is way to quiet to my ears.

    Good. Checked the feedback and price from Taobao. Asian gamers have complaints against the product H1 & H2 gaming headset (year 2021 & 2022) sold by XTRFY flagship store there (the speaker sound is not loud engough and microphone quality is poor).

    Honestly I thought the pro mic sounded terrible. So unless you routinely game in an active construction site, I would go with the casual mic. And conversely, I didn't think the casual mic was picking up the keystroke sounds all that much. I'm not really not the market for this headset, but if I were the thing that would kill it for me was the comparison to the H6 pro. I don't like the way that headset sounds at all.

    Hi. I have an option to purchase the XTRFY H1 wired for 70$ . The other competitor is the Logitech G Pro X, for the same price. Which one of the two is recommended?

    • @CrimsonScion
      @CrimsonScion 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Logitech G Pro X is great for sound and the software, but the mic leaves a lot to be desired. I just bought a pair of H1's though and those were pretty flat when I tested them with music and games as well as the microphone sounding NOTHING like this review in OBS recordings I did as well as talking in discord with friends. I'd say for the same price go with the G Pro X as I had a pair that lasted a long time.

      @@CrimsonScion I bought the G Pro X but after 3 days i sold it. I am using a hi-fi type headset and compared to that the sound the G-Pro X was very boxie. So i will stick to my hi-fi type one , the sound is seriously richer. This is my preference.

    That frequency response is a tragedy in headphone form. Gamers are not the most knowledgeable people so they'll buy anything as long as it gives them a boner. What they don't realise is that headphones are generally made by people much smarter than them. There is a reason why dynamic drivers are 40mm. This is the ideal diaphragm size for reproducing the entire bandwidth crrectly. A 60mm driver will only perform worse no matter how much money you throw at it.
    The "unique" treble response is a horrible undamped breakup mode that's normally pushed outside of the crucial region in a proper driver.
    If I can give you a good advice it will be not to fall for the "bigger better" idiocracy kind of hype and get something designed using brain.
    If you're using EQ, then this headphone is an even worse purchase. Just think about it - you're getting a driver that only can reproduce lows only to lower these lows down to the same level that a 40mm would make. Even after EQ you're still getting worse sound than with a basic driver.

    This looks like a fancy version of the 35 dollar mpows! Like complete copy of the headphones with a sound card attached to it.... It screams Chinese cheapness all over it. Sorry

    • @MartyrForBlood
      @MartyrForBlood ปีที่แล้ว

      Similar but look closer mpows are closer to HyperX Clouds/Alphas in build design. The headband attaches at an angel unlike mpow and hyperX. Internals are all different to. There is no need to reinvent the wheel when you have a design that it open source that works great.
