Really immersed me into the game's world showing you that you can't go back to the previous, more quieter life (unless you reload a previous save of course).
GTA IV's (Niko) map should have been updated with the addition of TBoGT after the "Three Leaf Clover" Mission (Liberty Bank Heist). As that is where is DLC starts. Would have been a lot cooler.

Hey, just a quick heads up, Niko's apartment and Roman's Cab Depot can be visited in TLAD without damage before the mission It's War is completed I think.
As for Roman's taxi depot. I remember it was fine at the beginning of tlad storyline. However there was a point in the storyline where the depot got destroyed and there was an news article about it on the in-game internet. I'm pretty sure about that.
The in-game article about the burning depot appears after Mission Nr. 3 "It's war" and before Mission Nr. 4 "Action/Reaction" in TLAD. Dimitri's betrayal and Bulgarins' appearance happen between those missions.

I've noticed that this particular news zipper is changing according to plot progression, and its contents aren't stored in the scrollbars.dat file, unlike practically every other ticker in the game. It's the news zipper in the southern Star Junction, above the EyeFind advertisement and the LCPD station, on the building inspired by the One Times Square, which up until 2018 also held almost identical news ticker, above the Yahoo advertisement and NYPD station. Be good to see an updated Liberty City return in a DLC with new changes and old Easter eggs like what’s replaced Romans old flat, his cab stand, The Lost Club house, maybe they are replaced by new builds? Or even seeing a closed down internet shop that Niko used on Hove beach.
After playing Red Dead Redemption 2 , i hope Rockstar implement similar ideas in GTA VI map where buildings, construction sites , roads & bridges,statues etc. changes with time throughout the course of the story and react to players action amd environment. Its taking place in Vice City based Miami, so imagine something like houses destroyed by hurricane and then we see NPCs rebuild their houses and also Firefighters/Rescue Teams helping them out.
As much as these changes are cool, its kinda weird how they didnt introduce them to base 4 or TLAD. If TBOGT took place after 4 then it would be fine but as it is now, it's a minor nitpick at best
I justify the continuity in lore by telling myself that each protagonist perceives the world around them slightly differently to each other, and we are simply playing the game through their lens.
I was waiting for someone to make a video about this. it was nice to see all the differences of the map from all 3 games and how they changed in comparison to each other and when they changed. If only though they would have made all these changes present in every game so that it would have made it feel much more like we were in the exact same world every game and that all these locations were connected to every story instead of seeing something new every game that isn't there in another entry. It would have made a nice addition to the GTA 4 complete edition especially. Oh well, at least they stayed faithful to the originals I guess.
yes for some parts of the recordings, but I did check on the unmodified vanilla steam version that these changes are legit (I have a total of 3 versions of GTA IV)

Rockstar should've thought of all this back in 2008, TBOGT and TLAD is set at the same time as GTA IV. It's actually make no sense that Rotterdam Tower and the Chinese market are more detailed than GTA IV, especially since TBOGT and TLAD are set in 2008. Lots of inconsistencies.

I'm from Rotterdam and they build a skyscraper that looks kinds similar to the Rotterdam Tower, It's called the Zalmhaventoren. Still so cool that Rockstar named the biggest tower after my city, makes me proud!

Rockstar obviously couldn't do that so nicked some Dutch Names North Holland I against combines Harlem and Noho which I'm sure means North something like Soho. I believe North Holland is based on Harlem though. I'm sure Real Life New York has some Dutch names not sure. But In this case Gta have given it Dutch names I'm sure there is the Rotterdam Tunnel to linking Algonquin to Alderney or maybe that is the real tunnel linking Manhattan to New Jersey.
It make sense that Rockstar named the biggest tower after a Dutch city. Liberty City was even once named New Rotterdam, just like how NYC was once named New Amsterdam. There's even neighborhoods called Rotterdam Hill, North Holland, East Holland and a street named Amsterdam Lane.
Imagine how they could have improved on GTA5 if they hadn't gotten greedy and put all their effort into online. This is why I have zero hope for GTA6 if and when it does release. Its going to be a 5 hour single player story with thousands of hours of online content.

TLAD and TBOGT take place somewhere in the middle of GTA IV story and after it
They’re all pretty modest and generally accurate changes although I agree some of the touchups carrying over would have been nice.
I think you could look it from a point of view perspective. Perhaps Niko or Johnny wouldn’t notice half of what Luis notices, if that makes sense?

GTA 4 Is definitely one of the best gta, also on PC flickering got fixed and much more, pc is now def worth it
but it makes No Sense because all Stories Play at the Same time

This is actually pretty impressive compared to GTA V where only parts of GTA V change in GTA online
Meanwhile, GTA V can't even complete the construction of a skyscraper in Downtown Los Santos for over 10 years.
