maybe rockstar is just, burnt out on the GTA franchise, atleast for now, they do have other franchises that could do with a bit more attention, not saying the GTA franchise is bad but people and companies can get burnt out on ideas and with the push of people wanting another can be a bit scary, especially when you need to live up to the previous ones in terms of story, gameplay, etc rockstar has been a bit scummy time to time I can see that but ya know

I really liked that in gta 4 they took into consideration that guns are illegal in NYC so you have to buy from a nice man who holds onto to his 2a rights.
The Underground gun shops are amazing, not sure if it's true but I think 1 or 2 of the homeless guys outside the shop are guards keeping a lookout. Hopefully we get Underground gun shops in GTA 6, in an era guns are banned and you can purchase them illegally, do gun smuggling and stuff, taking out other competition, no matter what there will always be guns.

GTA V feels like the main goal is to do heists GTA IV you can deliver drugs, plant bombs under cars, assassinations, work with different mafia groups, so much more when you get the DLC's.

You hear police sirens in the distance which gave the city a nice ambience and people lose their limbs when you throw a grenade at them. Small details compared to modern games but revolutionary compared to it's release date
Not really, as Rockstar themselves said back in 2011 during the Q&A for GTA III 10 years, the original LC from GTA III was based of NY, Chicago, New Jersey and Philladelphia. While in GTA 4 it's fully based of NY and Jersey City
God Liberty city in GTA 4 is always a breathtaking experience. So cozy yet filled with detail and life. Especially as a New Yorker it’s amazing to see.

No...Broker was southern Portland, though the harbor (gta4 East Hook) "moved" from SE to SW and Alderney - in gta4 not "considered" a LC district - was probably Shoreside It's just that in gta3 LC, some places listed in this video were in different neighborhoods (at the time, fewer and larger too) and districts, as compared to gta4

These 2 games are only 7 years apart. GTA 5 came out 5 years after GTA 4. Now its almost 12 years later and we still have nothing. GTA 4 came out 16 years ago. So given the massive improvements we saw between GTA 3 and 4 what can we expect after 16 years between 4 and 6? Maybe just maybe working windshield wipers? Yeah that's if we're lucky.

In my personal opinion, the 3d era and HD era are IN THE SAME universe. It never made sense to me that they are separated from each other. When I play Nico in GTA 4, I have and want to have the feeling that I was here with Claude, Carl and Toni earlier before.

The GTA 3 liberty city doesn't really look like New York it seems its own original city vaguely based on New York. Gta 4 liberty City is a faithful portrayal of the real New York instead.

Awesome video but I have to disagree with the mafia house on 3:25 because the mansion that has a hidden sultan rs on north of the map looks a lot more like the place, the entrance of the mansion is straight away a huge reminder of the ps2 version
Great comparison. I love gta IV. It's one of the most detailed games I've ever played. When I was playing it it wasn't like I'm playing a game. It felt so real. I realy live this game

These 2 games are only 7 years apart. GTA 5 came out 5 years after GTA 4. Now its almost 12 years later and we still have nothing. GTA 4 came out 16 years ago. So given the massive improvements we saw between GTA 3 and 4 what can we expect after 16 years between 4 and 6? Maybe just maybe working windshield wipers? Yeah that's if we're lucky.

I honestly prefer how GTA III is designed in most of this video. There are certain things that I think IV did better, but overall, I like III best.

I'm hoping one day they connect the two Liberty Cities. The Francis International Airport could be a good connecting point. It was on the left side of GTA 3's map, but on the right side of GTA 4's map.

In my personal opinion, the 3d era and HD era are IN THE SAME universe. It never made sense to me that they are separated from each other. When I play Nico in GTA 4, I have and want to have the feeling that I was here with Claude, Carl and Toni earlier before.

@@jacoba636 Ahh I see. Well GTA IV has the best story and protagonist in my opinion. You should try it out one day. I first played the game on a potato PC with the lowest setting possible and it still ran at 10-15 FPS. Didn’t keep me from replaying it 7 times lol

The GTA 3 liberty city doesn't really look like New York it seems its own original city vaguely based on New York. Gta 4 liberty City is a faithful portrayal of the real New York instead.
GTA 3 liberty city is based off of New York, philidelphia, and Chicago. GTA 4 is based just on NYC and Jersey City

Wow I knew 3 was supposed to be new york but i didnt realize how on point it was. 4 always felt like new york to me but I never knew how much of 3s aspects came to 4. Gta 3 was more detailed than I thought.
