the sad part about is GM reckless mismanagement has cause to layoff million of people but yet american bailout for the corporation rather than citizens.
If I've learned anything studying business it's that these stories of fraud aren't unusual but rather common to every company most just don't get caught and go on to eventually become legitimate by faking it till they get enough funding to become real. Even then they still commit shady illegal practices.
How dare you. Qouting the Bear to use against the best donut host. I'd let that slide about Jeremiah cause he's a creep, but not Nolan sir. (Slaps face with glove)
I still think they should have kept Pontiac to use as the United States Holden line. The GTO and G8 where the best things, outside of the Firebird, Pontiac had in quite awhile. If they was still around I think the Chevy SS would had been a Pontiac.
Why do people complain or wish death when other people make mistake, yet don't care when they make mistakes themselves? I guess you never make mistakes?
How can they accuse him of lying, when in that commercial his truck was driving down the hill using gravity. So, it was ZERO EMISSIONS. It didn't even have an engine. Try making a vehicle with less emissions than that!!
It is very hard to imagine GM could be suckered by someone less sophisticated than anyone that has ever crossed their doorstep. I honestly think GM means to keep Nikola as a brand to sell their Hydrogen technology in semis and pick-ups. You also have to keep in mind GM has not actually supplied anything of monetary value yet and, at this point, likely not ever. With their "foot in the door", GM could literally just acquire Nikola as a Intellectual property and not have spent a actual dime.
Nikolas has no intellectual properties. Even their design patents was a fraud. arstechnica.com/cars/2020/09/nikola-patented-a-stolen-truck-design-tesla-claims-in-legal-response/ And for patents, you need to demonstrate that the "invention" works, not just a drawing on a piece of paper. Therefore more than likely all patents filed by Nikolas (if any) are fraudulent as well. What you have left is a name, a logo, some pissed off employees with a really bad company list on their future resume (more than likely they would leave that blank, or "self-employed"). The entire deal was done by former GM board member Steven Girsky, how that mother fucker isn't under investigation yet is beyond me. He's the one who sold the deal to GM, and created a company specifically designed to do a reverse merger with Nikolas thus allowing them to be instantly listed on the Nasdaq. All the while by-passing all scrutiny normally required for newly listed companies. Its a loophole exploits by many (ie: Virgin Galactic with Social Capital). That frankly needs to banned. "Nikola Corp. went public via a reverse merger with VectorIQ Acquisition Corp., announced on March 3. The deal gave Nikola an enterprise value of $3.3 billion and raised $525 million from investors. Nikola is focused on developing electric-powered semi-truck and pickup truck vehicles." March 03, 2020 Either Mr. Steven Girsky and team are grossly incompetent, and truly were duped by a con-ma. Or (more than likely), knew Trevor Milton was a crooked and allowed him/them to fuck over the investors and ensure Trevor was the only fall guy. GM has nothing to gain from this deal, other than yet another failure to their long list of screw ups.
Interesting coincidence that the guy gets outed by his own cousin, only for GM to plant a new exec. Looks like a coup to me. That would be fascinating. I would imagine that they did their research and found a punk kid with a list of potential buyers. Tanked the kid, kept the buyers.
@@fredpinczuk7352 He has the emblem, vechile designs, though nothing technological GM would want. It is more a case of Nikola having the building that GM could literally walk in and take over.
@@DocWolph Careful with your comment on vehicle design. Nikolas happened to trademark a design they actually purchased from a foreign art student. And lied about its origin in a lawsuit against Tesla. This is not going to end well either. Elon isn't known to be walked all over. *anvil falls on Nikola

*Anvils rain down from orbit
GM "Sucks to be you. Now stay there"
It is very hard to imagine GM could be suckered by someone less sophisticated than anyone that has ever crossed their doorstep.
Even their design patents was a fraud.
arstechnica.com/cars/2020/09/nikola-patented-a-stolen-truck-design-tesla-claims-in-legal-response/
And for patents, you need to demonstrate that the "invention" works, not just a drawing on a piece of paper.
Nikola is focused on developing electric-powered semi-truck and pickup truck vehicles." March 03, 2020
Either Mr.
@@fredpinczuk7352
He has the emblem, vechile designs, though nothing technological GM would want.
Here are the sources:
1st) this judge ruling www.autoblog.com/2020/04/28/nikola-tesla-semi-truck-lawsuit/
2nd) The quick little update in regards to a bought design. www.ft.com/content/9bd5e3f3-4d09-458c-b390-bc94b1f4a024
Mr. Trevor Milton lied in front a jury as the source of the designs. He's more than likely will go to jail for this as well. Meaning the Tesla will be in possession to counter sue and enforce their design patents.
