I thought that I was the only one as a kid to compare monster trucks with wrestling. It was like watching The Road Warriors jumping over old cars
You don't know how cool these are until you actually visit a show. Even if don't really care about trucks, they're still crazy awesome. One reason they're cool is because of the noises they make.
I remember monster trucks in America being a big thing in Australia even in the late 80's. BigFoot was known by every kid, we used to draw pictures and buy hotwheels to play with at school. It had a huge impact globally, I think monster trucks speak to our inner child in a very visceral way.
My street legal monster truck is called Brutus. It has a 10 foot clearance and is made from an 1987 GMC sierra classic heavy duty pickup. It was the largest truck on the road of its kind within 3 counties
My best memories with my dad was when the Monster Trucks and motocross came to town in Asheville NC
Oh man, I remember that episode of That's Incredible! I was rooting for USA-1.
I rode in one of the original Grave Digger trucks when they were giving rides at Wildwood Beach New Jersey in the mid 90's.
What a blast that was!
Good vid. And yes 6:37 Cam McQueen _is_ an amazing name :)
