Thank you so much, this has been broken at my place for a very long time and following your instructions I found the screw exactly where you did! I even had a plumber tell me that the whole thing had to be replaced.

It’s been a few years since I posted this video and believe it or not the handle fell off AGAIN. I actually used my own video for instructions - very meta.

Did you put any low grade loctite on it this time?
By the way thanks for the vid. I couldn't figure out how to get mine off to fix the wiggles in the handle. Your vid did the trick. Thank you.

I think I've been here at least once before. I keep forgetting that the darn screw is right there in the dang hole.

Too funny! My cold water handle came off twice within 2 years. Your instructions are a great help. Maybe one day I'll invest in a faucet that doesn't include the periodic handle replacement ritual.

My problem is when people come over, the hot side ends up pointing at the back wall when off. People pushing too hard. Not sure how to tighten it up so it stops at a 90 degree like the cold side. Not sure why they push so hard. It turns easy and goes off at the 90 degree point, but they push it further back.

My plumber who was here for another repair told me that this couldn't be fixed and that I needed to replace the entire faucet. I have this exact same faucet. Thank you for this simple fix, it was exactly as you demonstrated. The screw was just sitting there inside. Thank you!!

Oh my word.....this was soooo helpful! I am a widow, and my sweet husband was "Mr. Fix-it!" I had no idea what to do when the handle came off of my bathroom sink this week. It is exactly like yours. Thank-you so much for such a detailed and simple explanation. I got out my handy tools and it was done in a jiffy. I had a little trouble getting that base off as my hands are not as strong as they used to be, but I finally got it! Thanks again!!

My husband and I were amazed to find such a useful video that described exactly what we needed to know for re-attaching the handle to our faucet. We appreciate your attention to detail for each step so that nothing was left to our imagination. It took less than 10 minutes and we're not very "handy" with home repairs. Thank you so much!

This is the same style faucet as the one I need to fix, which was just lucky. I didn't even know the manufacturer for it. Your demo is completely clear and you didn't once accidentally get your hands doing the work in the way of the camera. I can see everything i need to. Thanks a lot.

Dude...just did a search on here (finally) on how to repair a moen roman tub handle that fell off. Its MY tub and I haven't been able to use it for months because my hubby (now ex) and boyfriend really thought a piece was missing and kind of got distracted with other stuff and even talked about going to Home Depot and asking "the experts ". Well, home alone tonight, I'm soaking in my kids little tub with sore hips and decided to TH-cam it and this video saved me! The screw was right where you said it was and I FIXED IT in minutes! Talk about feeling empowered! I needed that! Thank you!!

9 years later and you're still helping people by providing this content. Thank you so much for putting this video up and helping all of us! I was so close to calling a handy man because for some reason I couldn't find how to fix my broken handle online. My handle has been off a month now and I thought I'd try searching one last time online and you're video popped up this time, maybe I had a better question in my search box when googling, but anyway, thank you so much! I now don't have to waste 100's of dollars on a repair guy and I can wash my hands with hot water again!

Thank you Luke!!!!! You saved me a plumber charge, a hole in my wall and a replacement cartridge!!! It was for a Moen faucet in a roman tub. They said I would probably have to put a hole between the wall and the shower to get to the plumbing! What?!??🤦🏼‍♀️ I thought no way for a handle that came off so I did research and you were the only one that had the correct solution! Thank you very much! I’m a new subscriber!☺️

Thanks! This also worked for a Moen model 6610 Brantford faucet. The only difference was unscrewing the cover for the cartridge, where you showed doing it pretty easily by hand, mine took a pipe wrench (use a cloth so as to not scratch the finish). No way to unscrew it by hand. The TH-cam video's like yours are so much better than what's on most companies sites, again thanks for taking the time to post it!

Thank you, you saved the day! my handle had not come off, but was super loose and driving me crazy. I kept searching through TH-cam videos trying to find the answer, but all of the handles that were shown had set screws somewhere in the handle. Finally, I came across your video that had the same model Moen faucet that I had. Not until the end did I figure out how the base unscrewed and came off. Easy fix with a Phillips head screwdriver to tighten the screw deep inside, and I'm back to business! I even unscrewed the other side and tightened it as well. You're my hero for today! Thank you, Luke!

Thanks to you and Mr. Google, my unhopeful search brought me right here. Same faucet, same problem. But with your guide I fixed it myself in only a few minutes. I actually laughed out loud in triumph when I saw the screw lying down inside the cylinder. It was extra welcome now, since with CV-19 isolation lockdown, I figured it might be months before I could persuade a plumber to come for a minor call. Now we can wash our hands properly again, so it was of special importance. Thank you again. And based on your experience, I've bookmarked the video for future reference.

I went to the Home Depot with a picture exactly like yours, and all the guy could tell me was how to order a whole new unit-- and order two as the other was sure to fail soon. Thanks for saving me a good hundred bucks. I needed my big channelocks to get it off, but it was easy from there. And as you warned, the other one was working loose. Finally, it's not surprising yours re-failed. That's why Moen discontinued this model. Thanks again.

Great video! Thanks. This must be a common issue with Moen faucets. My only suggestion is that you probably shouldn't have waited until the 6:10 mark to mention the little detail of turning off the water at the valve. If you're still monitoring this video, maybe you might want to consider adding a subtitle at the beginning to that effect.

such a great video! I happen to have the same sink faucet and the handle fell off yesterday-- I had no idea how to fix but didn't want to have to call someone. Your video enabled me to successfully fix it! Thank youuu!!!

awesome video!!! worked perfectly. I had no idea that I had a Moen faucet, but looking in the part that fell off I recognized the Moen symbol. I saw a number, and looked up the part. Then I found this video.

THANK YOU! I had the same problem with the same side of the faucet and was at a total loss as to how to fix it and thought I was going to have to call a plumber. I think it took me longer to watch your video than it did to actually fix it once I knew what to do :) I so appreciate you posting this--super helpful and couldn't be more simple to do.

Luke - thanks a ton for posting this. I have the same problem and I was pretty much stuck until I found your video. I kept looking for some hidden set screw to allow me to diss-assemble the round base of the handle. And since mine doesn't unthread very easily - it was not obvious.

Thank you.. My handle was loose so I took off the handle extension and tried to use an Allen wrench inside the threaded hole… I couldn’t figure out how it was installed. Your video got it repaired.

    Thanks,
Luke. Wow, what are the odds I'd find a video for the same model and the same problem?
Did it, fixed it. I owe you a beer.
