    Want to let you know I do appreciate what you do with the 3V a lot of people don't even mess with them anymore, I was wondering I have the same setup except I have shorty headers twin 62mm throttle body and would it be a good idea to upgrade fuel injectors to the 47lb or stay with the stock 24lb the car acts like it's starving for fuel sometimes thank you

    • @MrDavidelliottjr
      @MrDavidelliottjr 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It definitely needs a supercharger or a turbo.

    • @BrenspeedEngineering
      @BrenspeedEngineering  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The stock injectors are fine. If you are going to upgrade do FRPP 39lb Cobra injectors that is plenty and they have a great spray pattern. Maybe yours are just getting old the cars have been have around for a long time. Might be time for a fuel filter, pump, and you could do take off stock injectors as well. THANKS

      Am I the only one confused about how low the power gains are? Most cars with these mods are 340-360whp and one even doing 375. The JLT alone says 30hp, so idk how long tubes and cams only do 20 combined

    • @BrenspeedEngineering
      @BrenspeedEngineering  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Typically an auto, especially an auto with a stall, is not going to make 360 dynojet rated SAE. Those are more manual numbers and even 360 dynojet SAE would be good with a manual.

    • @BrenspeedEngineering
      @BrenspeedEngineering  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can start the car and drive it with no tune. It is also fine at wide open. The tune addresses a possible stalling from a lopey camshaft. So to answer your question yes you can drive it but you will want to get a tune at some point to help drivability and manors.
