If you want quality do not purchase from any place which does not have their cards behind glass. If you do you are purchasing cards which have been malled by children.
I drove over 700 miles to go to the card shop in Las Vegas you made a video about two years ago. It was definitely worth the drive.

This brings me so many good memories from my time in Vancouver last year. I got my cydra deck at there. People there was always nice to me, I only regret that I couldn’t participate in any tournaments due to Covid. Now I’m back home in Peru testing my cydra deck for next week’s ycs

I love how knowledgeable you are about Yugioh! Even when you ramble its interesting. I played Yugioh growing up, but was always secondhand/knock off so it didn’t last long. I’m getting back into it!
My elementary school was only 2 blocks away from here and this card shop has been around forever. Most of my Yugioh collection came from here too.

@@BillyT886 I mostly only get structure decks and singles from here, so can't really say anything about how "legit" they are. Though I do remember buying a Flames of Destruction special edition here and got a Ghost Belle from one of the packs, which was worth quite a bit at the time.

I know where u coming from but i actually pulled a ghost rare at one of these sketchy chinatown shops back in the day. You cant say for sure a shop is sketch with just one visit.

I remember getting the exclusive pack, and as a kid, I didn't know it came with the same 8 cards in every pack. I thought I got a misprint pack or something, and was freaking out for days because of it.... Good times XD

I remember when the pyramid of light movie came out and I got it on DVD which came with a Pyramid of Light trap card. Then My sister’s boyfriend had a friend who worked at the movie theater which he gotten ahold a big load of Movie packs that people would get when they went to see the movie. Then they bought the exclusive packs as well. Eventually they got past on to me. Lol at the time I had like 9 copies of Blue-Eyes shining Dragon and I just gifted 1 copy each to my closes friends in high school

I remember purchasing one of those packs which have the Sphinx from Casey's years ago. I started Yugioh when Magic Ruler was new then quit around the 2010's. The last two products I purchased was a Spellcaster Deck with an upgrade to the Dark Magician and a Warrior Deck. I returned to the game in 2017.

@@Jannatul.Firdaus.255 I live in van I was gonna go down there but what your saying sounds right and since the owner is a serious collector I’m guessing he syphoned all the good packs out of the box and then sells the others but what does scale mean ????
@@KC_604 Meaning that the owner probably weighed all the packs and takes out all the good ones and sells the shitty packs for profit. I wouldn’t recommend buying packs there due to personal experience Story I’ve heard from an friend saying that they never got any good packs and rarely pulled any holos. I would only go there to buy sealed product if possible and some singles. But I wouldn’t really go there. The owner should be more considerate and not do such sort of thing lol

In Manhattan, NY Chinatown there was an area that had like 3-4 card shops in the same vicinity. This was like 5-6 years ago since I have been there but it was a cool area at the time. Sketchy but cool lol.
I wish I never lost my Yugioh cards as a kid when we moved. 😭 they’d be worth SOOO much $ right now. Mint condition cards with prismatic/glossy finishes. Plenty of blue eyes toon/regular with alternate appearances. 3 of each god card. Exodia glossy set. And so much more lol
I like how the mapped packs are what make people think it’s sketchy and not that it’s the only open store in a shut down mall

I remember back in 98 on a field trip my group found an old street with a nice shop in Chinatown newyork all these Pokemon rares etc chinese cards.
Man I miss Shonen Jump in print, the freebies were always lit, especially game demos and anime teasers, and ofc the cards! First one I picked up had Cyber Harpie, and I subscribed and got lots of great cards, and loved the magazine too. I wish they still printed it, but their new app is wonderful too!

No ultras for loose singles they might have weighed the packs and kept the ultras/secrets also the boxes were mappable. Never buy loose singles packs

Yooo man! Just wondering what you would recommend as a competitive deck for a new/beginner player? I’m just starting out in the world of yugioh and want something that’s decent (doesn’t have to be the easiest deck in the world as I’m prepared to grind and want to learn the game).
