  • If you are considering taking a flight with your baby, this video is for you! In this video, Eli compares the folded size of the most popular travel strollers and talks overhead bins. The standard approved luggage size for carry ons is 22" x 18" x 10". If your stroller falls within these dimensions it is safe to say you will not have any issue boarding with it. In some cases even slightly larger travel size strollers will also be approved. Regardless of the dimesions of your travel stroller, carrying it on a plane can also be contingent on a few other factors, like domestic vs. international flights, or even how crowded your flight may be. We do always recommend checking with your airline first and having a backup plan. Even if your stroller meets your flights carry on requirements you may find that they just don't have enough room and you will have to gate check in any way. Packing a baby carrier as a back up is a pro tip we love! Check below for links to all of the featured strollers and their folded dimensions. Hi, thanks for the really useful videos. I am looking for a compact stroller that has an adjustable handle. All the models I came across so far seem to have a fixed height. Is there anything you can recommend please?

Are there any strollers that fit the overhead bin and can be used with the uppababy mesa car seat for an international flight? Thanks for the info.

The Minu works with the mesa and you need to get the adapters but it should fit the overhead because international planes are huge. Good luck

@MagicBeansVideos 0:37 This is an email reply from The Guava Family on their travel crib and airplane travel:
Thanks for your email and interest in the Lotus! We designed the Lotus Crib to fit within the carry-on allowance of most US airlines. The Lotus Crib conforms to the FAA's carry-on specifications.
      The FAA specifies that the carry-on allowance is a maximum of 45 linear inches (Length + Width + Height), and the Lotus is 42" (24" x 7" x 11" = 42").
However, some US airlines have made their carry-on requirements smaller. Please check directly with your airline to find out about their carry-on allowances.
      Delta carry-on:
Combined length + width + height of baggage must not exceed 45 linear inches (114 cm)

This guy does not know how to use a tape measure. It has to be straight when you measure, not bent.
