The problem with this video is that its only going to be applicable for those that have a large budget. There are a lot of people out there that do not have 1000 bucks to spend on an everyday stroller and another 500 to spend on a travel stroller. Most people are just going to go buy a stroller that works and fits with in the limited budget they have. If you can afford to be fastidious about it thats great, but people often forget not everyone is in your financial bracket. I personally have an Uppababy Vista and a yoyo2. My sister on the other hand had to settle for the 300 dollar stroller on the shelf at target and even that was a stretch for her and a lot of other people are in the same predicament. Not everyone can afford to be so choosy. Some people just have to get what they can get. Id say maybe make some videos about budget friendly options, because these are not and your advice for shopping for a stroller in this video only lends itself to those with a large budget, and the most people just dont have the large budget these days.
Not necessarily. Some of the features such as rubber wheels are on cheaper strollers such as delta child joggers at $150. Ultimately his advice is get something that will last a long time for you
We have the old version of the Uppa Baby Cruz and love it. We’ve used it for seven years for my now eight years old daughter to ride in. I bought it on sale for about $400 and it’s the only stroller we’ve ever owned. A good stroller is a great investment.
For sure it is but my issue with the video was that this wasn’t advice it’s a sales pitch. We ended up buying a second hand egg pram/stroller which has more than enough functionality.
When I was looking for a stroller for my baby boy who is now 4 this would be 4 years ago when I was pregnant and first thing my dad told me was big sturdy wheels. I looked into uppa baby because of the must have list that mentioned it and being that it is a top popular posh stroller. I didn't like the idea of paying 1,000 dollars for something I was going to use for a few years. I wish I went into the bob stroller or a similar high end jogging stroller but I was concerned that it won't fold easily. So I ended up with the nuna mixx 2 and the nuna papa car seat. It was half the price the stroller and also knowing this may be our own child due to not being able to go in to have another one it was the best choice for us at the time. I loved that stroller and it took so long to sell it once we were done using it. I also had the chombi usa double fold stroller which worked so well for us and it was handed down to us by my aunt and uncle who used it with their grandkids. My favorite because it is so good for airplanes and traveling. I am so glad I went into test it out both the uppababy and nuna at nordstrom rack even though we were ordering it from bloomingdale's due to good price listed at the time and employee discount from someone my family knew who worked for the store. I high recommend you do research and go in to try it out because it is hard to tell from looking online. I actually stumbled upon a video of a Jewish mom using this nuna mixx 2 stroller and also what made me fall in love was how easy it is to fold by anyone using it because I knew at the time my parents, sitter that we later on hired as our nanny for twice a week so I could work, and in laws were going to use it when we brought our baby over. The only thing about the uppababy vista is that it has a wider storage bottom for throwing things into the stroller in comparing with the nuna mixx. My philosophy, just because everyone is getting this uppababy vista or cruz the other model of the same brand doesn't mean you need to go out and get one too and instead pick one that fits your family needs. Also, with living in an area where we get earthquakes that leave the sidewalks bumby or when you go out to the parks or hike trails you want the wheels that will get you through it all. I don't think nuna compared to a jogging stroller fairs perfectly but for sure when I used it on flat trails with some bumps and on bumpy sidewalks it worked well for us.
We always recommend doing a stroller test drive if you are able to! Getting a feel for how the strollers perform in real life situations is invaluable in making a decision between them. We also agree that just because a stroller is popular doesn't mean it is the right stroller for every family! That's why our consultations are go great - they allow you to speak one-on-one with an expert who can help you decide what features are must-haves for your lifestyle and they may recommend a stroller you hadn't even considered before!
Your last two point are really about finding balance. Of course you don't want to follow other people's advice too much. But the other extreme is to not ask for advice at all. I think the ideal people to ask are the ones who are able to think with you and give advice with no strings attached. And if you focus on that type of advice, it's going to be the most helpful to you.
#4 so much! I bought an uppababy minu from you guys for my first baby and now I just got a brand new uppababy vista from you for our newborn and 17 month old. Maybe I could’ve had the vista from the beginning, but the minu was perfect for our lives and 1 child! I’m excited to use our vista soon! Love your videos 🤍
I’m coming from the other side - just picked up a Vista during Black Friday and expecting our first in April. We live in a major city but tend to not stay in the city when we go out. We usually hop in the car and go to a neighboring town or visit family. Wondering if I should get a Minu instead? What’s your experience? We only plan to have one child and the Vista feels like “too much stroller” though the storage and quality feel better than the Minu.
I would be interested in a video about easywalker harvey 3 or other easywalker, I live in Europe, I don't know if they sell only here, but I can't find videos about it.
Lol yeah thats how i got the stroller that i didnt want at all all. My sister inlaw and mother inlaw got the same stroller my sister inlaw has . For simple w i was looking for a stroller that i could go on hikes with and and deal well with wood like Terrain. But insed i got a stroller tarrible with bumps hiking and all i was looking for. On top the stroller broke now i am looking for a new stroller.
Awesome video! So much great information. I've had 4 kids over 20 yrs and have bought many many strollers. I have made many many mistakes 😬🤣. This info will help avoid all of those mistakes. Right now I have a Cybex Balias and a Bob Alterrian. I love both and both serve their own purpose
Not a recommendation stroller. Thier materials created for the stroller made some babies have cancer so many chemicals. And they brought it back the same just changed the colors. That's why no one has it at buy buy baby or other baby stores.
Don’t forget that strollers like graco r loaded w harmful chemicals. Try to shop non toxic brands like bumbleride and nuna Even if that means buying used. Your baby’s health depends on it
I'm having my first baby, and I have no idea what I'm doing. We live in Ontario, Canada (brrr! 🥶) in the suburbs, but our baby will be around 7-8 months before we get snow. I have no idea what stroller to get or if I should get more than one? They are due mid April. I am not a jogger, but I do enjoy walks.. sorry for the rambling comment, I have major pregnancy insomnia and it's 4am while I'm researching strollers 😭
Budget? They do virtual consultations at magic beans! Also consider the accessories that come with or are available for purchase from that strollers manufacturer or if you are ok buying things like hand muffs from Amazon.
@@natashadang6162 the only difference in the fox 3 is an available new chassis color, extra ventilation and padding on the bassinet and new colors and fabrics.. but the fox 2 and fox 3 have the same chassis and wheels to the best of my knowledge ;)
I currently live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. My baby was due in May last year and I ended up getting the UPPAbaby Vista V2. I loved it while she was younger and enjoyed pushing it in the snow last winter. I hated how wide the stroller is because it made it hard to navigate through stores in the mall. But now that she is pass the one year mark and will be 2 next year I find that vista v2 is a bit heavy and much to lug around from going in and out of the car. I also have the UPPAbaby G-luxe as my lightweight stroller. I enjoyed using that this summer. My only pet peeve about it is the folding mechanism. My recommendation to you is to go out to Buy Buy Baby, Snuggle Bugz, or West Coast Kids and actually try out the strollers that you are interested in. Push it around the stores and play with the features. Also make a list of your priorities of what is important to you to have. Like he said think about where you plan to go and how you plan to use your stroller. Also those stores offer “dry fits” of trying out car seats in your car to see how it fits. They are still currently doing it right now during this Covid time. I just did a dry fit of the Clek Fnoof prior to Boxing Day sales. Good luck to you on this journey!

Get the vista 110%. I am expecting baby number two and my son will be two when I have her and I am kicking myself in the butt that I didn't just get the vista from the beginning!!!!! Every time I see one in the street my heart and wallet cries a little.

Budget friendly options do not make influencers and TH-camrs money.
We've made the mistake of plastic wheels. They warp in the florida Heat!!
The advice on this is hilarious ‘buy more expensive and buy more’

Can the yo-yo travel in snow from the car to the doctors office? What about shopping on a cobble stone street?
Im looking for something looks nice, light, easy to fold and cozy.. should i go to nina mix or bugaboo lynx?
Hi Afrah! The Mixx Next is going to have a smaller more compact fold, but the Lynx is lighter.

I have donkey 2 and I’ve noticed a screw on the handle when it scratched the side of my car. I add to the point about the screws.
😮

Does the Nuna Triv count as a “middle of the road” stroller? 🤔
lol no Nuna price tag would indicate thats a high end stroller
Emmaljunga Mondial duo Combi
is serving us almost 13yeras long...
Many people can’t afford to get a more expensive stroller than graco
2nd hand is a great option as well

Right not all of us can afford a stroller that’s over $1,000
Nobody is telling you that you can't get Graco or the cheaper ones, just saying they aren't as good.
Then this really isn't for you...
Quality stroller 👍👍👍

Fellow stroller salesperson who meditates everyday 🤯
I want the Uppababy stroller, i was going to get the vista but your advice says live in the now. Plan to have another child in 2-3 years should i get the cruz instead of the vista?!
I want to add i will buy the bassinet if i get the cruz so i would only be saving like 150$ (compared to vista)
I’d suggest you get a Vista. The new cruz is about the same size, and it comes with the bassinet
Get the vista 110%. I am expecting baby number two and my son will be two when I have her and I am kicking myself in the butt that I didn't just get the vista from the beginning!!!!! Every time I see one in the street my heart and wallet cries a little.
Vista V2 100% . Best single stroller. Then great as a double.
Love Tip/Mistake #4!! Such a good point, Eli!
Simply put, want a stroller that lasts? Bob. Nuff said 😂👏🏼
The BOB definitely has a lot of longevity!
I haven't heard of the BOB. I'm going to have to check it out. Thanks.
Could you please review the baby jogger City Select2?
The best. #1on my list. I have it, vista v2, and donkey 5. And others.
