AGRICULTURAL
The dedicated Armagnac alembic (short column still) distills at a very low alcohol proof 56% (whisky, cognac are above 72%, Vodka over 96%).
= 44% of organic matter remains alive in Armagnac.
Thus, Armagnac retains the agricultural origin of its raw material : the wine.
NATURAL
It is not the age that makes a good Armagnac but the quality of the wine that is distilled, and that of the barrel in which it rests.
The natural evolution of the wine in the barrel makes it possible to reach vibrant aromatic complexities without blending.
MODERN
Armagnac waited 700 years to shine.
