This is my favorite dark souls game, I know it’s an unpopular statement but it’s true, it was the only game available to me for a long time and I learned to love it
It's my favorite because of power stance combos, Turtle Armor+Manikin Mask and Bone Fist jump kicks. Sad the other Souls games don't have Bruce Lee movesets
@@BromElda Aged Smelter does 170 Magic damage instead of 170 Fire damage. i think their stats or requirements are slightly different too? if they are, i think its negligible.

DS2 is my Favorite Game in the Series but the one thing I regret is never being able to obtain that form or armor but I did manage to beat the game n complete the dlc & kill every boss except for the Ancient Dragon
If you have ranged options like sorceries/miracles (works with melee too just more annoying ig) you can just keep baiting him to do the frontal flame attack (which usually misses you by a mile). Stack on all your flame res stuff and it can't oneshot you either
You don't have to kill him to get the form. There's a spot near the greatsword Drakekeeper where you drop off, then move on through the area until you find the petrified egg in a room after an invasion. Take the egg to Magerold in Iron Keep and he lets you join the covenant. Then you just need dragon scales to rank up and you get the stones to transform
@@Ivory5547 the only reason I can't decide whether ER or ds2 is my favourite. Er has a bunch of little quality of life features like stakes of Marika, but bonfire ascestics are by far the best mechanic in any fromsoft game

This is why I love Dark Souls 2 because not only is it an awesome game where you can be easily overpowered within like it say 10 minutes of the game but I think it has the best design for the dragon Clan theme and I felt that this is a design they should have kept for Dark Souls 3 in my opinion instead of the new one that they did or it's just like a naked Dragon like humanoid body because I think it would have been a lot more cooler like oh look you're a character is the only one that has that chance to actually become a dragon in the way you're supposed to like a warrior in a sense like you doing this game compared to the ones that failed I don't know maybe that was just me and my thoughts but I do love this look I think it's something that should have stayed like within the third game when they came to being a part of the Dragon Clan
Ray…you are the one who convinced me to buy bloodborne in 2016 when you used a character called “Bloody Mary” to one shot all the bosses. Bloodborne was so outside my genre at the time but now after 6 years of dark souls, Sekiro, Elden Ring, and Bloodborne, I’m finally coming back and subscribing. Thank you ray, you gave me and my friends some of our happiest moments together.
He takes halved damage from any 'weapon' attack. And he is not actually weak to fire - only to lightning. His magic/fire/any physical resistances are all neutral.
I'll be honest, I don't know what people find so difficult about blue smelter demon. Yeah he mixes up the combos a bunch, but it isn't that tough if you're in the endgame, not like fume knight or Sinh, both just as capable of mixing it up if they want to.
what sl? , what stats requirements?, i need this info for my DK build please, I'm dual standing the dragon greataxes ,and i got both smelter UGS but i don't know how much do i need to level it up
My favourite. Started with both 1 and 2. 1 fell short of expectations, in fact it was disappointing. DS2 good back then, and still is good now. It's just a shame that it got dogpiled by the DS1 bandwagoners. And yeah, love cosplaying as the black dragon knight, though I'd go for vanilla BDK with their weapons just upgraded with raw.
Can I ask something? I recently completed the main story of dark souls II defeating nashandra, I want to start again in NG+ but I want to get the most items I can before doing that, I'm actually going for all the bosses again, should I do something more than that before doing NG+?

Still think they could have brought back also the Bonfire Ascetics. That thing is one of the best mechanics in any game.
