I don't get it either. She's clearly a liar and obnoxiously rude, and perhaps the reason why is that she knows how to work the algorithm and get people to watch her. And if that's the case, it's like selling your soul.
It drives me crazy when “makeup influencers” don’t use a product right. I can’t help but feel it’s on purpose. I’m sure if they were paid suddenly it would be flawless. Great video. That looked so easy and also amazing.
I feel so old but it really bothers me that the algorithm of social media is rewarding intentionally “stupid” content. Videos like “omg am I dumb? I don’t even know what to do!” When there are instructions with the product. Or they’ll intentionally mispronounce a word in a crazy way just for engagement, bc it gets shared everywhere on multiple platforms. ANYWAY!! I love a good tutorial from someone who cares more about sharing helpful info instead of trolling for engagement 🥰 thanks Robert!
Honestly? Acting dumb is actually a strategy to boost interaction with their content because people cannot resist the sense of superiority they get from correcting someone. Hundreds of people will correct the spelling of a word or an incorrect fact despite seeing hundreds of existing comments doing the same thing.
This video shows it's not impossible to do a sponsored post without trying to fool your audience. Thanks Robert for giving me faith in basic transparency

You know here is why I do not mind watching AD sponsored videos for Robert. Becuz yes he is doing an ad for a company, but At least he is also giving a very informated and understandable explanation of not only the particular AD sponsored product but products of that nature in general will, or could possible react and turn out with other products in general. The scientific break downs are much appreciated. But most of all it really is an honest review. No filters or crazy transitions.
I live in south western Ontario in Canada. I’m surrounded by the Great Lakes. There is no primer, bronzer drops or foundation that can hold up to the humidity we get in the summer. Over 40 degrees. Unless you’re going from AC to AC, there is no hope.
I live in the same area and we get 30C+ temps maybe for 3 or 4 days a year, it might peak near 40C in Toronto for like 2 hours on 1-2 days around noon. Plus, our humidity is quite minimal to be honest. Heck, our entire summer is maybe 3 months (mid-June-August and by September it cools down). It's May 31st today and by evening it's still chilly outside. I used to work in southern Japan where you'd get 90% humidity with 30C+ temperature from early June (also their rainy season so rain daily) to October, agonist half the year. Our Canadian summers are freaking paradise by comparison.
I'm in the same area and you're absolutely correct! The summers are miserable and getting worse. I know people who have immigrated to the area from tropical/sub-tropical areas and even they struggle with the heat and humidity. Unless you're in air conditioning, that makeup is gonna melt immediately 😂
I have the same issues with hot and humid summers in NYC. *Self-tanning* drops are the answer! I use Tan Luxe drops. You can add to your face products or use directly. Very natural because you control the amount. Easiest brand and best color.
Some of these influencers just don’t understand that less is more. Your application of the bronzing drops is just beautiful. you have a nice glow to your face, and it doesn’t look fake. Influencers like Michaela loves that fake tan and she doesn’t do subtle. and that’s why she just doesn’t understand how to use this product
Mikayla: adds a shitload of bronzing drops to the tiniest amount of moisturizer, then rubs her skin so hard her skin rips, and she wonders where the product went?! Maybe, idk, read the bottle? Watch a 15 second video? Its not that hard. You use a good amount of moisturizer, with a couple bronzing drops, and you rub it in like you would your moisturizer ( NOT rubbing your skin like youre trying to remove the top 3 layers), and youre done. Its really not difficult.
I love how you've made a video that is also an ad, so useful and informative. Brilliant. Tiny bit of feedback for the brand, would def have preferred a discount code than a free product

You always explain things so thoroughly. Thank you. I love bronzing drops. I have 3 different bottles from 3 different brands. Sometimes I mix them with my moisturizer or body lotion for a subtle glow and I’ve also used them (very carefully, of course) as a bronzer without mixing them with anything.

I’ve never specifically used a bronzing drop product but I ✨ adore ✨ a single pump of Auric’s Glow Lust mixed in with my moisturizer. I use the second lightest shade and it just lends a beautiful radiance to my skin. I imagine a bronzing drop gives a similar effect when used correctly.
I am so glad Robert made this video because I have been applying bronzing drops exactly like he demonstrated and then I saw influencers doing it differently and thought I was doing it wrong. My face is oily so his method definitely works 👌
Advice pls - what order do i need to apply serum, moisturiser, spf before i use foundation? Is it spf on top of serum and moisturiser? Then foundation?
Your application is so beautiful. I’m definitely go to try this technique. I have seen this same bronzer on others and it looks nowhere near this pretty on the skin.
I've been using bronzing drops for years pretty much the same way as a regular bronzer. I love how natural it looks and doesn't have the dryness of powders. Personally I use a fluffy kabuki brush. They're also very buildable which I think is where people struggle. But hey, if you can apply self-tanner, liquid eyeliner, or do your own nails, I really think you can master bronzer drops. I really want to try these more yellow ones by typology - interesting.

You’d think if you were a makeup influencer, with millions of followers, testing a product you’d actually research how to use the product. I’m convinced she does this so people comment to tell her how to do it correctly
Color theory only changes in light and colors, but even then the change is not that big. Even tho some may argue it has a huge difference in makeup, it's because of skin being a really colorful and varied color. The idea of neutralizing in art, you'd use the complete opposite color, but due to undertones, it's not a good idea to do that on skin. (It would be nuts to use CYMK for neutrality reasons) An example is that in realistic paintings, in skins, the variations of colors will be mixed in the same way All it depends really is the canvas and what you want to do with it
I use the drunk elephant bronzing drops with my aloe gel moisturizer & it ALWAYS looks amazing. I think all bronzing drops work best with a clear gel type moisturizer. Also a LITTLE does a LONE way. One drop into my aloe gel & it cover my face & neck. Then use a setting powder to set it & go see patients for the day. Takes 1 min max. Robert do agree with that? Especially for beginners. Not a beginner, but still always go back to Drunk Elephant bc of the skincare ingredients.
This is perfect! I just bought the new glow recipe niacinamide bronzing drops and I thought it looked streaky and patchy. I’m going to try it again now using your method, so I hope it works! Thanks as always for the amazing advice, I trust you and your brother so much more than most influencers out there. You guys rock!! ❤️
Thank you for explaining how to use these so beautifully, everything looked gorgeous and now I must have it all. I love bronzing drops but this brand looks divine!
So I don't really do makeup or skincare - but I just did the typology diagnostic test and actually feel quite inspired to buy the whole lot and see if I can fix my face! I trust you!
I recently got the Typology foundation and I LOVE it!! I apply it like my MAC Face and Body with my hands and it looks amazing ❤️❤️ Love this video… your tutorials are always great!!!
To be fair; Mikaela probably wasn’t paid for that one! 😂 We know how she does (cause there’s video proof); if it’s paid she’s an expert & it’s awesome. If it’s not paid she’s confused & doesn’t like it
as a very pale individual i always mix mine with a moistuiser i just like that hint of colour to my face but i find that it HAS to be a cream/rich moistuiser, gels make it look more patchy and blend less nicely
Bronzing is similar to fake tanning. So if you’re an olive undertone a violet base or undertone is more suited but if you’re more cool go for a bronzing product with a green base. So the violet base will turn more golden and the green base will go more bronze. If you’re more neutral you may be able to use either. The green undertone will help to cancel out redness in your skin.
This is a great tutorial for bronzing drops , always shied away from products like that due to my fair skin but might have to give it a try after watching this!

I love your videos and how informative you are as well as how honest you are. I’ve been watching you for awhile and today just realized I had not subscribed to your channel so I quickly rectified that. Thank you again.
The bronzing drops look fabulous on you Robert!!! 😍😍😍 xxxxx
Result looks amazing🖤🖤🖤
Ooooowwwweee Robert you look especially lovely today !! 😍🖤
Absolutely glowing !
Oh, an informative video that explains the ingredients and actually how to use it. How refreshing! ❤
It also looked pretty when you just applied it like you would apply a bronzer.. Looked so natural and perfect 😍
It looks really beautiful on your skin!
Looks beautiful on legs mixed with your moisturizer
I liked using it with a wet sponge as a contour. lol it was super pretty and natural contouring 🥰
LOVE your hair!!!!! 🖤💜
Robert, your skin looked so pretty when you were in “Natural Light” . Your skin looked blurred.❤
Wow… your finished results look so so good👏👏👏.
As always, thank you for showing us dummies how to do it, right THANK YOU
I have LEARNED SO MUCH from my selected handful of Beauty Content Creators and still learning from this video.
THANK YOU, ROBERT for sharing your knowledge and demonstrating your talent with a bunch of strangers on the Internet.
XO
Thank you!! I've been honestly scared to use this type of product because everyone applying it online makes it look bad🥺 like...their faces look dirty...now I wanna go try it!
Same!
How wonderful!! Thank you so much for showing & explaining this to me!! I get so lost when it comes to serums & tinted drops that I so want to try but never seem to get right on my skin. Thank you so much!! 💯💯💯
I just live for your channel, such a great way to end my Friday work day ❤
Your hair looks great, Robert!
You’re the only influencer I trust with makeup info/recos! 🖤
This was very helpful. Thank you for giving honest, good advice.
education and an ad: best idea ever. I was jus engaged and learning about the technique and product info. Fantastic 👏🏼👏🏼
You are so beautiful ! Your hair looks great like this!
please give a trigger warning before showing a mikayla video
😂😂😂
I really wish people wouldn't use the word trigger so freely, I know someone with PTSD who can actually truly be triggered into an episode of PTSD and it really isn't something to joke about... It's terrible watching someone go through that.
I have PTSD and jokes like this are the least of my worries. Please don't speak for all of us just because you know one person with PTSD.@@ellelovescats3
Your skin looks so good you look SO GOOD 🤩
You’d think if you were a makeup influencer, with millions of followers, testing a product you’d actually research how to use the product. I’m convinced she does this so people comment to tell her how to do it correctly
Loving the hair!!!
(It would be nuts to use CYMK for neutrality reasons)
An example is that in realistic paintings, in skins, the variations of colors will be mixed in the same way
All it depends really is the canvas and what you want to do with it
I use the drunk elephant bronzing drops with my aloe gel moisturizer & it ALWAYS looks amazing.
"Maybe they did?" I just laughed way too hard at this. 😂 Don't ever change Robert! 😘
Hi Robert! Much love for your lovely vides MWAH!
🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🥹
These were fantastic tips! I have been a victim of bronzing drops so this was super helpful 🥹 thank you!
I'm crying a little inside everytime I see a genuine and cool sponsoring and then I remember I'm watching content from outside EU 😥
I love that spooky element 😂😂😂 to the video, " oh O thought someone juts walking in my house,Im alone, maybe someone did. 😂😂
Thanks for the tips. ❤.
Hello Robert, I always love watching your content ❤
