Your videos are amazing! Learning so much! I have another product for you from the process, if you keep boiling the water with the carobs and keep reducing the liquid you will end up with carob honey 😊
My father told me before chocolate became cheaper to buy carob was quite common to use as a ingredient to make sweets and treats. Even animals such as horses adore it, but only you can feed them once is dried out and not green at all, otherwise it can be toxic because of the tannins it carries.
I love it that you use wholesome and healthy ingredients for your delicious recipes!! So creative also! 🎉 Have never tried carob. I will try to make the fudge as a christmas treat for my family 😊. Piloncillo, yess, now I know what you meant with jaggery. In Mexico, where I lived, they call it like that.
Thank you so much 😊 everyone’s gonna love it! Sometimes it gets confusing with different names for the same ingredient, also different cultures sell it in a different shapes which is super fascinating ✨
Hello from Turkey. When I was a kid I used to eat carob. Brown but not dried, good enough to chew. It is lightly sweet but not too much. Perfect snack which is healthy and satisfactory. I dont see them around anymore I wonder what happened.
I'm able to buy very good quality Bob's Red Mill carob powder in the stores, but now I want to try making my own. Thank you for your helpful video. I did not understand the"secret" ingredient - what is e410? ~ Michele
Love your channel! I hope you post again soon as I will be finished binge watching all your videos very soon and will need more! Can you remember us low carb folds and give us some low carb vegan options too? Question: I am intrigued with your blender... what is the brand name please? Thank-you!
WAUWWW amazing thank you so much for sharing. Living in the south if portugal we have lots of carobe. Thank yiu so much for sharing will definitely try ❤
Awesome. I've only tried carob once before and didn't like it much but the carob powder I'd bought was quite a different colour to what you have made in the video. You've convinced me to give it another try, from scratch. Everything looks so good!
Thank you so much 😊 imagine that when I was a kid I used to play under the carob trees and hated the smell of the pods 😂 little I knew of the treasure under my feet 😊
Google says to me that has been planted in the Punjab and it is found until up north due to the adaptability of the tree. Check it out and let us know will you?
Incredible video bro! I definitely want to try out that peanut butter carob fudge you made! Just a question though, wouldn't it be better to steam the carob pods instead of boiling them in case some of the sugar in the pods is wasted by being boiled out?
Bollite e lasciate riposare con acqua bollente ci mettono all incirca 6 ore. In acqua fredda un giorno almeno 👌🏼 pura convenienza, almeno che tu non abbia i pods freschi e allora li pulisci prima e disidrati poi
We have a different kind of carob here in Southamerica, lighter in color but just as delicious! I wonder if the seeds have a similar use, gonna look into it. Thanks for sharing and all the inspiration!

Can you show us recipes with locus gum? Please!
Nice video
Thank you so much 😊
So the carob chocolate isn’t sweet? How would you recommend sweetening it? Would the consistency change?
Oh it is naturally sweet! Much sweeter than chocolate 🫠
@@menschchef lovely. Thanks!
I can’t help but smile when you eat the carob bar!! I have memories of my health food loving mom using carob so I will try!
Funzionerebbe solo reidratarle in acqua fredda invece? O c'è un motivo più specifico per cui si fanno bollire?

I love your channel. Can anyone share a website where I can order carob and jaggery in bulk online - a site that sells to EU..

Coconut oil is a high cholesterol producing oil and not recommended as part of a healthy diet.
What would be a good oil substitute

I wonder if the seeds still viable, using this method?
Nah those seeds are dead
