Loved the way the last question was answered. “Find a way to engage with the friend”. I think our first reaction is to pull away because of the risk of ruffling feathers. One day I will make it to Pastor Marshall’s church to see you both!!! ❤
My oldest daughter had dated her boyfriend starting at 23. He was 22. After 2 years they started talking about marriage. Her main issue was that they say men"s minds don't really mature until they are 25. So even though he was ready to ask, he waited till the week after his 25th birthday. She said yes. 🎉 We knew he was right for her when he called me to "have breakfast" with me. She had a weekend trip that day and he told me it was so hard to tell her he had nothing really planned while she was gone. Knowing he was driving 3 hours to have breakfast with her Dad. 😊
I love having a pastor's view on some of these questions. The advice is always Godly wise advise. I am so blessed every week and encouraged by how you point people to lean on God's strength.
Thank you Granger and Pastor Marshall for another great episode. It’s always great to hear your take on these situations. You do such a great job of meeting people where they are, and then leading them towards a solution. Your celebration of Christ is refreshing. ❤😊
When I first started reading, I made NO off-limits: I counted the numbers of chapters in a book, added them up, divided by 365, I came up with a number . IFor many years I’ve read 4 (3 OT - 1 NT) (next day 2OT - 2 NT) until June and December. You read the NT twice a year; OT once, You develop a passion for the word, I recognize people further along in the word. One thing I recommend is create a job to do in the beginning, [I used a soft lead pencil, and wrote verses in the front of my many Bibles, that I would use in leading someone to the LORD. On the page with the scripture, bottom right I write the next scripture, on that page - top left I write previous ( goo thing too, I’m 85 now, no memory, but I DO cherish my notes. I am blessed with a Power Bible on CD; it has MANY Bible versions and many ‘helps.’ (Strongs, Concordances and dictionaries) I use Strongs daily; both for source and pronunciation, as well as meaning. I buy them 10 at a time and give them away. The last time I bought one (1) it was $7.00, they discount for multiples. While I had the soft lead pencil, my first job I gave myself was the capitalize all pronouns relating to the GODHEAD. It has ‘search.’, By the way I'm on 39 this year X2 for NT; it never gets old; EXCELLENT FOR AN OVER-ALL VIEW
I like how you said it's ok not to feel the need to read the whole bible. I tried that once and it was kind of boring. However, when I took it in chapters I felt so much more fed that way. Keep up all that you and your family done. Hear...hear... hearing it live. (when you know you know)
🦋I was just watching Eddy Family Farm and he mentioned you are one of the youtubers he'd like to meet. I'm now a subscriber of your channel. Take care.
"Blood Brothers" by Elias Chacour, won a peace prize in Japan, I think. It shows a bit of history with a father that shows the spirit of Christ. Yes, off this topic but preparing you for the next one.
For Grace, I wish I could go back in time and tell myself not to date at all all throughout school and college. I wasted so much time on dudes that weren’t the one.
Totally off topic but when you changed camera angles to show you and Marshall being able to see the back wall I think is the angle Amber should use even if alone so her Arise sign is visible. I know I have tried just reading the entire Bible front to back and chronologically and it seems like a chore. I do much better when I am focusing on one thing rather it be a certain topic, story or book. The last few months has been a struggle and I do good that I remember to watch church as currently away from what I call home but I also listen/watch Pastor Chad on Wednesdays just not always first thing in the morning when the podcast comes out. Sometimes what I do is read a daily devotional like "Our Daily Bread" and then I turn to the verse/s for the day and read that story, chapter or book. I also have a Strong's Concordance and if a word sticks out to me in my reading I will look it up and see where else it appears.

I’m 31 and not dating. You’re not alone. I’m working on reading the whole Bible too. I’m struggling too. I have it half done.
