I started going to the gym about two weeks ago. I haven’t listen to this podcast for a long time. It popped into my recommended on TH-cam and I’ve been listening to it every day at the gym. I’ll walk the treadmill from the start of the video till the end. I’ll listen while I lift weights. It’s the best.

Granger.. wow, that advice about grief turning into narcissism. I needed to hear that. Tough to hear but definitely needed. I have lost people but this hit me hard over a different circumstance that caused me grief and I can see how I've let it control me and make me only think of how I was affected.. thank you for speaking the hard truth
Hi Granger, may the Lord bless you from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic! I experienced depression in the middle of my 30's but now that I'll be 42 next month I'm still going to church and having deep relationships with my young adults' small group. I really appreciate you're sharing this podcast!
On the topic of grief, we had a hard time carrying a baby and God blessed us with 3 beautiful kids, with miscarriages in-between all of them. With our last one we were pregnant with twins, and we lost one of them right away but still got to have a wonderful baby boy, Luke whom we named after Luke Bryan. Everyone was telling me how sorry they felt for us, but I told them I had so much piece about it, and they would always have a crazy look on their faces and say why/how. I would explain to them that yes, I was sad at first and I bit anger that he would give me two but take one away as soon as we find out about them but no, I was grateful. God gave us two so we could have one. We had 3 babies and lost 3 babies. The first time it happened I held on to that grief for so long but when I finally let it go, I got the greatest gift of piece over me.
Am I the only one who likes to listen to Granger's weekly podcast while working out? Health for the mind while taking care of the body!
