In this travel vlog/diary, I spend my first Christmas in the Philippines in more than a decade. I attended simbang gabi, went to Dapitan Arcade and bought a parol, visited the Meralco Liwanag Park, and did many more traditional Filipino Christmas activities. This video may be partly a travel guide, but it is first and foremost a love letter: to my homeland, to my family, to those who are separated from both by thousands of miles, and to anyone who has lost a loved one.
