This is a serious party jam played at all the clubs and house parties good times and we party hard we didn't come to play started out with a afro by the end of the night afro would be stuck to ur head....Lol so much fun I miss the 70s funk bands true talent and musicianship.
They were named Brass Construction for a reason. Those of us that that love to dance were blessed! We had songs like this. The horns, bass, percussion and keyboards... well, you can hear it for yourself.
If you like Movin' by The Brass Construction JJ? You should check out another song of theirs in the same vibe that's similar titled Changin'! Peace!!! 😎
Brass Construction was heavy a heavy hitter back in the 70's 80's and 90s. Moving On was perfect for the skating rinks and house parties. Also check out Walking the Line from 1983.🎷🎵🎹📟
Still on my playlist when I'm running. Classic disco-funk. As a band, they remind me of a Heatawave groove but without the superior vocals. They had one big hit album with about 4, maybe 5 pretty damn good jams; this being the biggest. That album had a couple others that mimicked this same groove. They were kind of a one trick pony but it was damn good trick worth seeing again and again.
Brass Construction 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 They Were The Band Omg This Had A The Dance Floor On Fire and your analysis on this Era is precise it's amazing how they recorded music back then absolutely amazing 💯💯💯💯
Brass Construction was a group i enjoyed. Here are some other songs by them we also roller skated to were: Walking the line, Can you see the light, Get up to get down. These were there funky hits check them out more.
It's cool to see a young person exploring the vaults of funk music history. I bought this joint NEW-it was one of the hottest jams that year. I still have my copy. Brass Construction had 5 or 6 albums that were great. Thanks for kicking this out to new generations! Peace-DJ Johnny M
Apparently, Randy was on his way to the studio when the rest of the band started jamming. luckily, the engineer had pressed the record button. The jam was approx 22 mins. When Randy turned up to discover someone had left a synthesiser behind, he tightened up the jam, rearranged it, and went crazy on the synth! 😎
I mentioned B.T. Express in my review of Just Jammin's review of Brass Contruction's "L-O-V-E-U", since they and Mark Radice all were produced by Jeff Lane. In addition to "Express" I strongly recommend "We Got It Together", "Shout it Out" and "Can't Stop Groovin'" (he already reviewed "Do It 'Til You're Satisfied", "Do You Like It" and "This House is Smokin'").
Monster, you beat me to the draw on this one, and so, I have to remove this song from my request list.....I guess I have to keep it "Movin"....as always great song and great request.
Don't forget to review Brass Construction's "Changin", "What's On Yoyr Mind", "We" and "Ha Cha Cha" as well as the two hits Brass Construction did with Mark Radice "The Whole Workd Ain't Nothin' But A Party" and "If You Can't Beat 'Em" and B.T. Express' 'We Got It Together", "Shout It Out", "Once You Get It" and "Can't Stop Groovin'"
Digitally remastered just means its been an upgrade or enhance to meet todays digital sound parameters for internet radiojust like tey mastered it 40 years ago fo radio and the Clubs in the analog format

Randy Muller was a beast with his production work. Skyy, BT Express, Instant Funk and many more.
We use to lock to this back in the day.
Another great pick, Brother. This was a dance floor staple during my mid 70's college days.
I saw them do this live, and as a horn player, I was in complete nirvana. Their horns blew the ceiling off the place.
Definitely phenomenal talent. There's a reason why they're named Brass Construction, right?
Yes my brother I played trumpet. This brass section is bad
@@martyemmons8692 indeed!!
A couple more classic from Brass Construction: Changin, Get Up to Get Down, Do Ya, and Dance
A big Soul Weekender favourite in the UK.
Caister anthem... Rock City Floorfiller were us soul and jazz steppers can let off...

Brass Construction!! This was straight jam....soul/funk/jazz....this also later became big in house music circles!
East New York, Brownsville in the house. When we jammed to real music. 100% real musicians.
70s was a different vibe
All across the United States, musicians were "feelin'" this zone of musical phenomenon!
Brass Construction was heavy a heavy hitter back in the 70's 80's and 90s. Moving On was perfect for the skating rinks and house parties. Also check out Walking the Line from 1983.🎷🎵🎹📟
Another good group to check out is Slave. They have a deep catalog of hard funk jams.
The Dance jamm! Or driving home from club. You got it! Baaaad!!!!

Brass Construction and Skyy members grew up together and their sound is very similar with the exception that Skyy had the Dunning Sisters..
Randy Muller was the dope producer for this band. He also produced Skyy and Cameron.
Check them out. Peace.

And get yourself on the dance floor.
This one just got put on the playlist. An instant banger.

We need to get some "Express" by B T Express now.
I mentioned B.T. Express in my review of Just Jammin's review of Brass Contruction's "L-O-V-E-U", since they and Mark Radice all were produced by Jeff Lane. This is the funkiest song ever danced my ass off in the seventies to this
House parties in Phoenix, back in the 70’s. Occasional fight, but no shootings! 70’s had some great creative music!!!
An absolute masterpiece and a significant part of my childhood joy!
Monster, you beat me to the draw on this one, and so, I have to remove this song from my request list.....I guess I have to keep it "Movin"....as always great song and great request.
