I love watching ball carriers stutter, hesitate, and all that in front of Bobby while he just stands there chillin. Always makes it look like they realized who it was and just started panic twitching.
6:13, That panthers loss was brutal in the 4th quarter I was just staring at my TV knowing they’d just run it and not being able to get those stops was very frustrating.

Hey there is a component to this team no one is talking about. Jamal Adams is an amazing safety, and the best part of his game is rushing the passer, with love, woolen, Witherspoon and Bryant with Wagner in the backend Adams should be able to stand up on the edge and rush with Jones, reed, hall, nwosu and mafe. That defense is going to be crazy
I keep forgetting Adams is on the team! If he has a good season and stays healthy, that's a stealth improvement many are overlooking. Like me.

Umm...he was good around the line and how they used him. We all got mesmirized with that...but...he was not good against the pass and he's not big enough to lurk around the line. If I I had a prediction: with the talent we have on the backside I'm wondering where Adams is going to fit in or conversely stay healthy. He can't sustain taking on 300lb blocks and hard running backs in run support and he's not very good at deep coverage and finding the ball.
I think more credit needs to be given to Pete…look how bad russel played after he left him and now how geno revived his career under him
Wild how it feels possible to win it all but also to have a top 10 draft pick.
The team has crazy talent but the schedule is so brutal, I could see them leading a bunch of statistical categories and still have a losing record.
I believe this team can make that run if everyone or at least mostly everyone can stay healthy and just play the best football that we can.
Been saying this all off-season. They got Wagner back, I said it. They nailed the draft again, I said it. I'll keep saying it right up until they fumble the bag in the divisional round. So much potential though, I really wish they could translate that into real success.

Last years Team was the start of this years jump.!! Those games we couldn’t stop the run it. Those r the games we win this year by being in the top 10 in run D. At least that’s what we as Hawks fans should want. Either way.!! This team is gonna make a huge impact

I think Lockett and Metcalf will be the long targets, but Smith-Njigba will end up with the most receiving yards. The guy is custom built for a quarterback like Geno. He gets separation quickly and you always know he's going to be where he says he's going to be when he says he's going to be there. You don't need too many reads. Geno is precision and timing, and he's got a money target.

I agree with the losses to the Falcons, Panthers, Raiders and Saints if we had stopped the run in those games we would've won 12 or 13 overall last season and we would've been in a much stronger position in the playoffs

Was I the only one who trusted Pete when he said he was hoping for 10 wins in 2022? I expect anything Pete says to be true. lol
Last year, the running back depth and d-line deficiencies really held this team back. They did a great job addressing the former, so even if K9 gets injured, the running game should still be servicable. However, the d-line is still the big question mark. They blew it up during the offseason and brought it some better talent and drafted some potential though, so we will have to wait and see how improved it is.
Don’t forget Jake Bobo having a breakout showing this preseason
Don’t forget they got Kenny McIntosh for a 7th. Given his experience and record at Georgia, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him getting a decent share of the RB carries.
I think McIntosh the most versatile of the three. I'm sure they'll be rotating the three of them.

The Raiders lost hurts the most to me, because I was in Vegas at the time watching the game at the Excalibur and had to listen to the place erupt in cheers every time Jacobs touched the ball. Objectively though, losing to Carolina was inexcusable after they traded away CMC.
The most frustrating loss for me last year was against the Falcons. It was so frustrating watching Cordell Patterson running up and down the field looking like a hall of famer when we knew they were running. We just had no power up front ir with the linebacker core to stop it.
Fr, everyone thought the offense was going to be holding the team back in 2022, but it turns out the defense was the main issue. Not to mention, the Saints game where Taysom Hill dropped 4 touchdowns on us (3 on the ground).

My only worry as a hawks fan is if they can stop the run, that's it. Offense should be top 5 and their secondary should be elite as well.... provided the run game can do their part and not force loading the box.
Unless our Run D steps up which was not upgraded in the off-season and we had the ability to draft Carter, but messed it up by drafting a diva corner.
Geno Smith is by far the best quarterback in the west. Only second to Hurts and geno Smith can do better. He didn't have to do much. He's extremely effective and apparently on cruise control. He can definitely repeat what he did last season. He did his job plenty well enough that with any defensive support they're conference champs.

As a Seattle fan, I'm cautiously optimistic about this team's chances. Let's assume no major injuries to key players. I can't fathom how they'd miss the playoffs as at least a wild card. The offense will very likely be better than last year and I do believe Smith is in the right system. He also seems to have developed the right mindset to succeed at his role. Never thought I'd say that, but here we are.
As pointed out in the video, we just need that run defense to be adequate and that'll help immensely. I don't expect Wagner to be his prime self, but his on field leadership will undoubtedly be helpful.
This is probably the most anticipation I've had for Seattle since the super bowl years. It'll be tough to get past SF or Philly, but it's not impossible either.

The offense will be at least as good as last year and most likely much better with the added threat of JSN, who can go anywhere over the field, but will most likely open up the middle of the field for Geno.
If only the defense can go from bad to mediocre, this will mean a LOT for the Seahawks. I think they were somewhere around 25th in the league. Going up 10 spots shouldn't be impossible and then things will really be looking good.
Whomever sleeps on the Seahawks is going to be really disappointed.

If the Seahawks believe they can win and play their best every game, yes, they'll win the Super Bowl. They have the right QB, receivers, RB's, line, and CB's, they just need the belief and work for it.
We got swept by the 49ers last year but overall Seattle has dominated the 49ers in past years and usually does good against the Cowboys and Pete Carroll has never lost to the Eagles so I'm confident in their chances

The Panthers loss was the worst. They didn’t lose a close game like the Raiders and Falcons. The Seahawks got their asses handed to them. Mostly by a so-so O line and a couple backup RB’s. That loss was embarrassing.
They also have McIntosh out of Georgia 3 stud rb

We were much better than Atl and NO except them just running up the middle nonstop one w a a qb then Patterson! Then we figured it out. But came back from Germany after playing a 6am game against Brady's east coast team. We weren't right then Josh Jackson went 99 in ot. Plus after we played the 9ers 3 times it was just too much for that young squad

Wish the Rams would build their team like the Seahawks. Using their picks well making good drafting choices, it's NOT ACTUALLY THAT HARD. Develop your team from the bottom with real talent in the draft, supplement in free agency. The Rams seem to think that nobodies can play just as well as the best players in the draft, and that's just no true.
Pass Rush is a problem too. But overall good video. Lets go Seahawks!

No, people are hoping that Geno Smith's success is a one year thing. I have not seen any reason to believe this was just a fluke. After watching replays of his touchdowns many times, there was some amazing throws and his abilities were on display. Those type of abilities don't just accidentally happen and don't just go away.
Hawks are not a SB team. Maybe in 5 to 10 years. Maybe.
A Quarterback doesn't finish an NFL Season with the "Highest Completion Percentage" in the entire NFL League, unless he is a "Great Quarterback",..... like Geno Smith

Still concerned about Seattles run defense. If they can be much better against the run then we will be very good. They need someone to anchor the middle of D-line. Reed isn’t the answer

Something people overlook when they look at Geno’s performance last year and him not doing as well in the latter half of the season is that during the latter half of the season we were down to our 4th and 5th string RBs. Pete Carroll’s whole offense is built off run first and if there is no run game all the defense has to do is protect against the pass/ blitz the QB
That's very true. Even in Wilson's best years, if the RBs were hurt, it was much harder for him to squirrel-play his way out of trouble.
