I have to say, ever since this video came out, I've been listening to it repeatedly and enjoying every moment. Both Alkan's transription and your playing are fantastic (Mozart already has my gratitude, of course). I didn't know this concerto well before I started to listen to your performance, and now it's one of my favorite pieces. You've inspired my to try to tackle this beast myself somewhere in the near future, even though I might not be able to make the piano sound like an orchestra as you do (I have to say that I'm quite competent as a pianist; it's just that Alkan is absolutely mad)

Che meraviglia...Bravo! Esecuzione pulita e attenta ai dettagli. Che lo spirito giusto sia sempre con te
11:16 Mvt.1 Cadenza (with Symphony No.41 reference)
28:53 Mvt.3 Cadenza (with recall of all Mvt)
That's why piano is called "organ orchestra"!
Very nice interpretation.. It's a bit of a shame this was recorded on a digital piano!
