This conference changed my life, being there in adoration with 24,000 Catholics that share the same values as me is indescribable.

I will never forget this moment it was here that the lord gave me the answer to accept the call of priesthood. God's will I should be beginning my application to seminary by the end of this year all thanks to the lord at that moment.

I've been to a bunch of conferences like this, but SEEK this year had such a tremendous impact on everybody that I have seen. I haven't seen this much universal fruit from an event ever. When the adoration chapel was full during the Judah and the Lion concert, I was stunned. Normally the main entertainment is a big selling point, but not this year. I can't help but think that the American church will be seeing legitimate, significant impacts because of FOCUS' efforts alone. The spiritual multiplication is really starting to take effect.

Anglican looking into Roman Catholicism here. We actually do believe that the Eucharist is the Body and Blood of Christ, we pray “Grant us, therefore, gracious Lord, so to eat the flesh of thy dear son Jesus Christ, and to drink His blood, that our sinful bodies may be made clean by his body, and we may evermore dwell in Him, and He in us, Amen” at our Divine Service. If Elizabeth Ann Seton’s priest said that, it was probably because he didn’t understand the practice of reserving the sacrament, or was poorly educated (The US Episcopal Church had a crisis after the Revolution).

Unfortunately the Catholic Church is currently overrun by people who also don’t believe (Pew Research says 70% don’t), that’s part of the reason why the Eucharistic Congress is happening this year, to help all people learn about the Body & Blood of Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament.

Even though it's a video, I can feel the same feelings I felt while I was there. That is but a taste of God's power.

I will be honest, I do not understood adoration. I mean I get it, it really is Jesus and he deserves our knees to bend and our lips to utter praise but beyond that I just cannot fathom it. Ah, I need help.

Adoration is also great for you to be able to listen to God. There’s always so much noise around us. We are bombarded by our daily lives. But if we can sit in the silence and pray, it also gives us a chance to listen to God. Just like nuclear waste, you may or may not necessarily feel the effects at that moment, but in due time, you’ll definitely see how it has affected you.

@doctorboss8340 Nuclear Waste? It tends to have a long half-life right?

For me, it's the fact that I have extended silent prayer in a sacred environment in conjunction with the sensory experience of having Jesus in front of me. Praying in front of the Blessed Sacrament (whether in the tabernacle or exposed) has something about it that I can't get in any other space, even sacred ones.

It was hard for me to at first. I didn't really get much out of it. Getting deeper into scripture and reading of how Saints treated the Eucharist has over time allowed the Holy Spirit to pray open my heart.
