Can you tell about the dress restrictions? Which types of clothes were allowed?
Half pant, 3/4ths, Sleeveless shirt not allowed.. rest everything allowed.. Trek pants should be carried instead of jeans or trousers as it will be more comfortable to sit for long hours.. no colour restrictions.. but I went during COVID.. laundry was closed at that time so I had to carry many clothes.. not sure about laundry right now.. after you apply you will get an update from centre about it

Not sure about public transport currently as Railway trains are not accessible for common people. You will have to check by road options.. If you stay near airport.. Vipassana centre at Borivali is also an option
Do they check bags before starting of course ( to check if you have eatables and mobile phone with you?)
Yes they do check it
But not thoroughly, as honesty is expected from the people coming for the course.. And at the end if you cheat, you are at loss not they

COVID second dose might be compulsory, check online on website once.. There's a clock in every room and in morning there's an alarm which runs through the centre to wake everyone up and volunteers come to everyone's door to wake everyone up
I have 1 imp question.....
Most of my friend told me that it is hard to conform the application in Belapur centre ...cause they mostly prefer Executive persons.....so is there any special info required to do application here for Ordinary person or it is same as other centre....!!.....cause I want to do the course in Belapur centre.....so please give ans bro.....

No, on the first day all gadgets including phones and wallet is to be submitted with authorities. The idea is to allow one self to live like a Sadhu for 10 days. Minimum distractions shall be there for maximising the technique...

No fees. Vipassana centres might be there in Yemen.. check on website

Firstly it's not a meditation technique..
Secondly no fees
Because if an individual gives fees for 10 day stay with food then there are expectations of good service and good food.
Which doesn't serve the purpose.
So no fees to establish a sense of sanity, with no expectations.

I think Nerul station is near.. but not 100% sure.. Don't think bus is an option there .. Use Google maps to check the possible options from station

2) No, But do you know what I'm Gujarati, extremely foodie, not even a single day did I feel that I should eat something after 5:30..
3) In that situation there is a provision to eat at 9 pm, but you will have to take special permission from Guruji. But trust me you will not get headache, because Vipassana will eradicate your headache..

There are no charges for a simple reason
If a participant pays for his 10 day stay he will expect hotel like service, food and other facilities.
But that's not the purpose hence no charges at all..
At the end of the 10 Day course every participant gets a chance to donate as per his wish, not compulsory to donate either.
Yes I did donate as much my pockets permitted.. You can take a call for yourself

No fee, simply because if they take fees people will treat it like a hotel, they will expect facilities as they have paid fees. But the point is to live 10 days like a Sadhu. So no fees, everything is managed on the basis of donation, for example I went this May, donated X amount, and many other participants donated.. that will be used in maintaining the centre and other expenses during the course. This donation is also not any fee it's given with an understanding of helping more people get Dhamma!
I just wanted to ask that what is the acceptance rate of the applications received in this centre?
Like I am 20 years old and a student....is there a chance that my application will get accepted?
Just apply dear.. Destiny will take care of the rest.. I was trying since 3 years and I finally made it.. And it's been a life changing experience..

But the point is to make you adjust in whatever you get like a saint
Although I must mention the facilities are very up to date, food is excellent..

Can we carry your books ???
Vipassana technique is about introspecting into one's self. You can't chant your religious verses, you can't read or write anything in those 10 days, it just defeats the purpose. The technique is about purity, where you are expected to observe your self, your mind. So no books allowed, no eatables allowed, neither recite anything while observing meditation

@@saakshisasane9718 No dear books not allowed! You can go after exams as well .. go with a free mind so that you can focus on the technique and yourself rather than worrying about upcoming events after the course!!

"Those who are not vaccinated, have to do RTPCR, 48hrs before.
Others can just show the vaccination certificate"
