First Christmases with a little one are always so special. Enjoy and remember to make time for you. It's so easy to run yourself ragged by trying to make it the most spectacular day of the year. One top tip from my Christmases with little ones. They love empty wrapped up boxes. Half the joy for them is just ripping off the paper. For my girls first Christmas at home I also hid a couple of balloons in one big box that then floated out to squeals of delight! Thanks as always for another fab video!

Oh I bet your little one loved poking around the garden center, and looking at all the twinkly lights and animals! Were thinking of doing a wooden advent calendar cause then we wouldn't have to keep buying the candy ones each year. Another idea for your advent calendar is to put pieces of paper in some of them with an activity for your family to do that day, like decorate cookies, or go see Santa, or drive around and look at Christmas lights etc.
Love your videos and the advent calendar. One suggestion for you: You could put your daughter's thumb print on a side of each of those little drawers; Day 1 for her 1st Christmas, Day 2 for her 2nd, Day 3 for her 3rd, and so on. And write her name and the year above and below it. All the way up til she's 25. Then when she has her first child, pass it on to her and she could do the same with her child on another side of the drawers. How cool would it be to look back on that and watch those thumbprints grow over the years. It certainly looks nice and sturdy enough to last over the years if you take care of it. I've subscribed and can't wait to see what's next in your first Christmas with your little one.
