The Mi's don't suggest you put copper grease on the thread. It's recommended to put it around the base of the thread on the combustion chamber itself. It's more to prevent creaking noises when heat engine expands and contracts from the burner door. 🤜 👍🏼
Basically you could see in the video white crust around the bottom edge which is where the rubber seal goes (most common place on these) Also was a bit wet 👍 hope that helps
Would this seal replacement be useful for stopping water leaks coming from the burner door? On my boiler there seems to be a leak coming from the bottom of the burner.

If you have water I’d be suspecting a frozen condense pipe backing up into the boiler
