    We have just invested in a silver screen. Always been sceptical but certainly looking forward to giving it a try. I love your comment about being a Yorkshireman, that’s probably why I didn’t buy a silver screen before 😉🚐 Trev

      Hi Trev you will notice the difference as it keeps the cab area warmer in winter & reflects the heat from the sun in summer 👍

      Yes they work great and for price we can't complain, seen the Falcon one which uses same software & maps near to £200

    Hi Andrew and Karen. We like your choices, well done !! We think it’s time for us to look at some of that Colapz stuff.. Pete & Kaz 😀😀😀😀😀😀👍👍👍👍

      Thank you Pete & Kaz, yes the collapsible items are easier to store 👍😁

      Not sure if this is the genuine Colapz brand or not. They sell something that looks very similar in B&M Bargains.

    That sat nav seems a good buy Andrew, especially with being able to put the vehicle dimensions in. We have the collapsible basket, great for taking pots to the wash. Thanks for sharing, Martin

      Hi Martin, great price, lots of lorry drivers use them Falcon have there own sat nav using same software and maps but costs over 3 x the cost 👍

    HI Andrew. I like the tie down straps they may be of use for my Isabella Sun Canopy as the guys do lift in the wind. Thanks for sharing Phil. 🙂👍

    I like all five, you are sorted! I've seen a few drive away awnings at sites, they are not the best idea! usually fall down.

      We spent 4 years umming and Ahhing then bit the bullet, was awkward to put up, always floppy when Attached to motorhome even when using pull over straps, we tried it in Edinburgh & when we took grandkids away but it was to much hassle, I'll stick to wind out canopy 👍😁

    Great set of accessories. The sat nav was a bargain, have got to find out if they are still available. We have the washing up bowl and it’s great. Ian & Sonja

    Great video, Andrew. We also sold our drive away awning. Didn't use it. Have you used the tie down kit in strong wind?

    • @andrew-karens-adventures
      @andrew-karens-adventures  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      No if there is a really strong wind forecast I wind canopy back in, but its OK for when you get some gusts of wind which would make the canopy flap about or lift away from the floor even though the legs are pegged down, I also have an adjustable centre Pole to keep the canopy taught as well 👍😁

    How sturdy is the filling point when it’s mounted to the gas locker door ?, I understand that when you want to fill the bottle you have to put pressure on the filling point to get it connected, this worries me a little that I might break the door 🤔

    • @andrew-karens-adventures
      @andrew-karens-adventures  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Mark, It was fitted free by dealer as a bit of compensation for the way I had been misled during the sale of my MH (A long story & so is this one as well) the filler point is very secure & you would fill tank with door closed so all OK 👍😁

    • @KRAM-zb2vc
      @KRAM-zb2vc 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Andrew & Karen's Adventures hi Andrew and thanks for that, I might go and have it fitted to my gas locker door 😃👍🏻

    • @andrew-karens-adventures
      @andrew-karens-adventures  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Mark Dolbythe position may depend on who you get to fit it, The dealer actually fitted the fill point inside locker, I had told them not to fit it inside locker as I heard people were getting refused as the filler point had to be external, I had asked for it to be fitted to skirt, they fobbed me off & told me it would not be strong enough & fill pipe would be going into Habitation area from outside gas locker, by this time I'd had enough🤬, they had gone for easy option, I told them I would not accept it being inside locker so they said they always fit to door, I then questioned about the stress on the pipework by opening & closing door they said we have never had an issue my words were if I have an issue you will certainly hear about it 👍

    • @KRAM-zb2vc
      @KRAM-zb2vc 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Andrew & Karen's Adventures, Thanks for that Andrew. We have a Romahome R40 and I’m not sure I could have it fitted to a skirt as it’s a one piece moulded shell and I think fitting it to a door would be a good option. I also thought about a direct fill bottle as it would only be for cooking as we have diesel heating.🤔👍🏻

    Are you finding it hard to get lpg in the uk?

    • @andrew-karens-adventures
      @andrew-karens-adventures  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is getting difficult but can be found you just have to top up if near to a gas fill point while travelling around 👍
