    Hi Bob - another excellent video. Its a personal point of view but after using an aqua roll and waste master for many years when caravanning I find that it's a huge benefit for me now to simply be able to drive our campervan over to the motorhome point every couple of days and fill up with water and off load the waste. I am also aware of keeping our campervan below its gross vehicle weight so it is something to consider before purchasing too many accessories.

    First time we saw your Taylor Made cover few years ago we ordered one the next day for our van, worth every penny. It is the First thing we buy also when getting a new van. The same with your expanding waste drain pipes so easy to store and use. Not doing us much good with the Adamo at the moment, will be getting that changed soon.

Your videos are super and u watched the one when you demonstrate the Taylor Made screen cover. When my husband went to collect it as they are only 3 miles from us they asked if we knew how to fit it. Hi Bob
    Great tip regarding the Duvalays. I thought the only real use for these was if you had to make up your bed every night. However, our van also has fixed single beds and it is a problem trying to prevent the duvet falling off the bed. We usually resort to tucking the end under the mattress. Will now consider buying the duvalay. Thanks.

    • @BobEarnshawMoHo
      @BobEarnshawMoHo  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, when we switched to single beds from a make up double, we did wonder if we'd use them. Much better than single duvays.

    Hi Bob & Jen great video as usual. Many products we already have and use. We also have the 574 motorhome but dinette version. When using the wast pipe & tank cleaning liquid, Am I assuming correctly that you pour the required mixed solution down through your sink drains to clean both the pipes & tank? Stay safe. Jo & Russ

    • @BobEarnshawMoHo
      @BobEarnshawMoHo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Fenwicks instructions say to add tank cleaner mix directly into the tank and leave to soak, but we don't have an access cap to the waste tank, so it has to go in via the sink. It does say you can use undiluted for blocked pipes.

      I don't like doing recommendations on insurance. It's only when you actually need them do you find how good or not, they are. We are currently with Safeguard. Our Swift motorhome came fitted with a tracker, part of the Swift Command system, and I've never had the need to use it, fortunately.

    • @BobEarnshawMoHo
      @BobEarnshawMoHo  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      An electric kettle is around 1.5kW and the Jackery Explorer 1000 provides up to 1kW, so the answer is no. That's one reason I've never bothered with an electric kettle. You would need a powerbank with at least 1.5kW (1500W) or higher.

    Great video Bob. We had a minor disaster on our first MH trip earlier this month at the Castleton C&MH Club site. On the 2nd day we had to refill our fresh water tank. We have a flat hose kit. But we just stuck the end of the hose with an adjustable flow nozzle straight into our water filler point pipe. Half way through filling the tank up, the nozzle came off of the end of the hose and got stuck inside the water tank filler pipe. It was a good job I had a pair of screwdrivers. Because I had to undo the jubilee clips from the water tank filler pipe under the bench seat. I then had to completely remove the filler pipe, in order to get the stuck hose nozzle out of it. So as soon as soon as we got home, I ordered one of those water tank filler caps with the hose lock adapter on it. So now we won't be repeating that mistake again lol.

    • @BobEarnshawMoHo
      @BobEarnshawMoHo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, they also prevent having to stand there holding the hose! Think that also happened to us, though the hose lock fell inside the tank, had to fish it out!

    Hi again Bob. Do you think its worth going to the expense of getting one of those Netgear Mifi Routers? The cheapest one on Amazon is £320 and that one you have is £388. I could use my mobile phone as a Mobile Hotspot, to connect a FireTV Stick to. Or would the Netgear be better?

    • @BobEarnshawMoHo
      @BobEarnshawMoHo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Netgear will always be better than the phone. The difference is the Netgear will handle multiple connections better and give you faster uploads and downloads, which means less buffering when watching streamed TV. It has one job to do, unlike your phone. But, if you find the phone adequate, then save yourself the money.
