Bro, I have bought a pair of this recently second hand in mint condition right after hearing 3 top tier Fir Audio sets and finding them just sounding like voices literally come behind the sub from several track (they sucked!). During that listening session I have tried out 64 Audio u18t and I have preferred them over all Fir Audio sets (to my surprise) and sound wise they were an improvement to my old Shure SE846... But than I wen't and heard Prestige LTD: way more comfortable with better isolation and much preferred their sound signature. There is a slight elevation down there, but... it just makes them only better for travel in noisy environments and yes - all genres of music sound great on them. For sure, from now on I will know that I can rely on your reviews much more (than some others), since clearly we have similar taste and idea of good sounding earphones :)
Hype them up, boys! They're better than the Monarch's. That's exactly what I thought myself and going by the Dunu SA6 Ultra I think I might trust Zeos on this one too. I wish Crinacle would finally measure them on B&K 4620.
@@jasonblaise6786 It's all about preference. If you like bass and a fun signature. Go for the Monarch MK3. If you want better technicalities (detail, speed, soundstage, imaging, layering, separation) The Prestige LTD is the way to go. They also have a more closer to neutral and overall smoother tuning.
Not sure if I'd consider these hard to drive. The OG Tin P1 is way more power hungry. But these with an E1DA 9038s is portable end game 😁. The amount of enjoyment these give is insane. And when Zeos said the Monarch Mk3 is technically better. Nope. The Prestige LTD all the way. They measure more smoothly and neutral. Much nicer resolution and clarity, larger staging, better separation and better imaging. Endgame iem. But about power requirments. You want a good source yes. But they aren't crazy power hungry 😊
@@radiofreealbemuth Yes. You'd want a dac/amp for the Prestige LTD to get the best out of it. You don't need to spend a crazy amount, something like a Cayin RU7 is great
@@radiofreealbemuth Yes the Cayin RU7 is one of the best dac/amp dongles you could buy so far. A very good portable dac/amp that works well with all iems. And yes I have the Prestige LTD with Dunu S&S eartips
@S.G54321 ah, I see. I heard the LTD has great separation of instrumentals. I guess they call this "imaging"? Do you agree that the separation is exceptional, or are there alternatives with similar qualities? I'm also wondering if you can comment on the sound stage
They deliver performance ahead of the price they go for. I'd take the Prestige LTD over the Elysian Annihilator. Truly an amazing iem the Prestige LTD are. They scale extremely well to. The better the source, the more they give you
I have Thieaudio Divinity V16 and Prestige LTD.As Zeos said, Prestige has the best tuning and sound stage which can make me listen to the Music for hours. While the V16 has the most detailed sound but kinda fatiguing.
I actually find the Prestige LTD to be better overall with detail and layering. The V16 is highly detailed but pushes them forward and can become much. The LTD is more effortless and while it may sound not as detailed at first. The more you listen. The more the layering comes to play and the details are there. Just not being forced into your ears haha. Overall, for me. The Prestige LTD is the superior iem 😊.
@@ParkI39 Yes. The Prestige LTD is a very smooth, non fatiguing sound with heaps of clarity and detail but it's so effortless and smooth. Simply an iem that presents music in a way that is never fatiguing, so easy listening yet it can be very engaging, have heaps of slam and low end. It's endgame. The V16 is highly detail and clear. But becomes fatiguing and sounds clinical at times. If you want an amazing all rounder. The Prestige LTD is extremely hard to beat. And to get better, you'd have to spend at least double the amount
I have a Astell & Kern Kann Ultra, and thinking about buying the Prestige LTD or the Monarch MKIII. What would be the best one between these 2, for the Ultra?????
Trying to decide on my first IEM's, between the Monarch 3's and the Prestige Ltd's and this review is certainly making me excited about the LTD's 😝. SO, the bass is good on these? That's the one thing I keep hearing from reviewers.....the bass isn't as good as the Monarch's!! But who cares, that soundstage sounds TOO good to resist.

This one of the rare times that I have seen Zeos being both truly and totally impressed by a product. His only complaint was not about the sound. Instead, it was that it takes a lot to drive these IEMs since their sensitivity is quite low at only 98 dB (Thieaudio's measurement terms are undefined). These are not IEMs to blind buy unless you have the high end gear to properly drive them.
Hello. Thanks for your great and detailed review. I've been looking for a iem headphone for a long time. I would appreciate it if you could answer me because I'm very confused. I found 3 iem headphones on the market for the price of Sennheiser ie900 = 1000 dollars, Beyerdynamic xelento remote 2 = 715 dollars, Thieaudio prestige (not ltd) = 570 dollars. Which one do you think I should buy? I know all three are loved. Prestige winks at me because of its cheap price. Do you think it is worth paying more for xelento 2 or ie900? I usually listen to new age, classical music, Jazz, groove and Rock. I don't listen to hip hop.
Hey..Is there an headphone that comes anywhere even close . You said it in your conversation with CMA ..speakers, Headphones..BUT IEMS are uniquely special 😊
Whilst I find the technical ability of these iem's are nicer than similar priced closed back headphones, open back planers within the same price for desktop amp setup would be my personal preference.
Depends on what you want and if you work in a quiet environment. iems and closed backs will isolate from noise better but a nice open back headphone usually will open up the sound, if that makes sense. Eventually you'll just end up with a few different sets because that's how it works here lol. It's nice to have options however, especially if you listen to a diverse range of music genres.
