People seem to be complaining about hailey's growling and grunting, i find it amazing, it suits her voice so well her vocal intonation and interpretation is exceptional she just has to be (in my opinion) one of the best vocalists in idol history. The way she laces her voice with à sultry raspy tone is beautiful. And her powerful belting range. Also à délight, she adds à variety of textures and tones that are luscious and i could honestly listen to them all day. Stop underrating her. She has so much value as à singer and as à person.
Haley doesn't have Pia's range, but modulates and inflects her voice in a variety of dynamic ways. Haley makes the most of what she has; that's all anyone can hope to do. Voters did not choose the singer with the best range (Pia), so all we can do now is choose the best remaining singer. Haley is one of the better ones left in my opinion.
Nhia Lee I personally love the growling, and her highest note isn't an E5.. She belts a G#5 on this performance
@Nhia Lee what are you talking about? Do you even know that only few singers can growl? Growling means that the singer is really feeling the song they are singing. And have watched the show since its first season, they are only few Idol contestants that can growl. And her voice is unique to raspy and soulful, clearly your understanding of music is really shallow. And also check out her other performances and songs too then tell me if you are right by saying send her home.
