What I love about this song, is that it is one of the very few times that we get to hear Nancy sing lead, while Anne provides the backing vocals. An overwhelming number of Heart songs have Anne singing lead, while Nancy backs and plays guitar. Actually, either way you go, you can't get any better than the Wilson sisters!
Nancy rarely gets to showcase her vocals. I love her voice! It sounds so innocent and pure.
Better-sounding voice than the dark-haired one, in my opinion.
Ann normally sings lead. This shows that Nancy sings good as well. I loved ♥ it.
This is Nancy in the rare occasion she sings lead vocals on a song, her sister Ann is Heart's lead vocalist. If she's this great, imagine how good a vocalist her sister is!
Martin Guitars made a limited production run of Nancy Wilson signature edition HD-35 Dreadnoughts in her honor. She is a formidable instrumentalist on both acoustic and electric guitars in addition to her singing chops.
And Nancy is one of the best guitarists out there, too.
Nancy is just as good as Ann. Depends on the song.

Love these two ladies. Was blessed to see them when they were doing their Lovemongers tour here in Victoria BC. John Paul Jones of Led Zep was with them and played four or five different instruments that night. Keep up the great reviews. Maybe check out some Burton Cummings. I know you appreciate good piano playing and he is pretty darn good. Try Break it to them Gently or Stand Tall from Up close and Alone CD. It is just him and his piano live. Amazing stuff. Thanks you two and be well!

I turn 76 next week. I can promise you every guy in country had a crush on these two back when we were young. We recognized talent when we heard it. Love that they are still performing.

This concert is one of the finest live performances EVER, by anyone! You can see most of the concert here on utube. Not only is it musically, vocally stunning and nearly perfect, but the audio production is superior! Bonus is the beautiful stage setting and lighting. One of my favorite concerts!
Something that y'all should be aware of, is that Ann Wilson (the brunette) is actually the lead singer for Heart, and that this song is actually a rare exception for Heart, where Nancy is the lead singer. And despite that, it is one of so many "Fan Favorites"!
Also, this concert was filmed in 2002!!! You should definitely check out some of their more recent performances together!

Nancy!!! I am always happy to see her get the chance to step out front. She is usually harmonizing for Anne but she is crazy talented herself. These sisters are something else.

Heart is one of my fav bands. Very diverse. I listen to a lot of different music, and they always kick ass. Their covers of Zeppelin are some of the best I ever heard. I love their 80s songs.
They are coming up on their 50th anniversary tour. I can't wait.

Still ABSOLUTELY AMAZING after all these years. Their voices compliment each other so well, I had goosebumps throughout this song just like when I used to hear it on the radio. Such AMAZINGLY TALENTED ARTISTS!!!!.
Fun fact: back in the day when they came out with "Guitar Hero" it was Nancy Wilson that they used as the female version of Guitar Hero. She was just INCREDIBLE when she was on stage with her guitar! She would actually "Man Handle" that instrument with over her head kicks, lay down low theatrics, she was impressive to say the least! I loved just watching her!
many would say Heart's secret weapon is Anns powerfull voice. but the real secret is in their vocal harmonies. growing up as sisters singing together for decades now. find a live version of Dog And Butterfly. its just the two of them. both playing acoustic guitars and singing. its magical.

Nancy had a cold when she recorded her vocals for the song, making her voice sound gravelly & raspy and the producer loved how it sounded. This song is sooo nostalgic for me!! Wow never saw this performance! It’s soooo beautiful brings a tear to my eye!!! 👌🏼 Thank you!
I’m so glad you chose this song. It really shows what a great vocalist Nancy Wilson is. Sure she’s always a great backup vocalist, but here she gets to shine with the lead. One of my favorite Heart songs, mainly because I’ve always been a big fan of Nancy. ♥️✌🏼😎
They always put on a great show, I've seen them five or six times, the last time was three or four years ago and rumor is next year they're going out on a 50th anniversary tour.

Don't normally think too much about reaction videos on those odd occasions I see them, but I wanted to thank you so much for introducing me to this live version of These Dreams, I fell in love with the album version the other day, and I'm really pleased you enjoyed the song as much as I do! Nancy- my childhood crush. Ann is usually the lead singer, but Nancy sang this one. Ann has great vocal tone, but Nancy has better range, as demonstrated by that beautiful chirp at the end.

Great softer tune which was written by Bernie Taupin who wrote all the lyrics for almost every a Elton John classic tune!
This song was originally written for Stevie Nicks by Elton John’s lyricist Bernie Taupin, but she didn’t think it sounded like her 🤷🏼♂️ and it went to Ann and Nancy and they had a HUGE hit with it

Look anyone reacting to Heart can do the popular rocking stuff like "Barracuda" & "Magic Man" & so forth. But what about the hidden gems that didn't get the hard rockin' rock station air play? Like this gem, "Dog & Butterfly". For me it's the most beautiful song ever written. It brings a tear to my eye every time i listen to it. It's about going after your dreams. The studio version has a little drum with it, but whenever performed live it was just Ann & Nancy Wilson. Both on acoustic & both singing. This is a live performance.

This was video of the decade in the 80’s. There is a live version with Heart and Alison Krause which is great.
Ann singing back up on this one is usually the lead. But she was sick the day they were recording this song. The producer suggested they try it with Nancy and everyone loved it.
Great band. If you haven't already reacted to their video "Alone", please do. Ann's voice is unbelievable and Nancy's guitar is spot on. A great power ballad.

Ann always rightfully get credit for her power house voice, Nancy also has a fantastic voice. These two sisters have been thru alot over their careers. Promoters always wanted to push Nancy out front and put Ann in the back because she often had weight issues. they said Nancy was more marketable it was so unfair to Ann. Seen them two times and both were fantastic shows.

Why you not listen to Heart -Alone song best power ballad ever
The main singer Ann, is the brunette. The Blond, Nancy, really dosn't sing the lead much at all. She has an amazing voice but Ann's is just ridiculously good.
Unfortunately, I think men just don't always have the ability to keep their singing voices completely intact as we age.
Heart, a great band at one time, went from producing superb music to what you reacted to here. In 1976, 77, and 78, they were whipping up five star Italian restaurant cuisine. By 1985, they were giving us Chef Boyardee's best, Beefaroni and Spaghetti O's. They should have called that 1985 album, "Heartburn". One thing becomes clear. I used to think Heart was Ann and Nancy Wilson. I was wrong. Heart was Michael and Roger Fisher. When they left the band, the void was filled in with mediocrity. It's hard to believe the songs Alone, Never, and What About Love were done by the same band that did Magic Man, Crazy on You, Barracuda, and Kick it Out. It wasn't the same band. It was the same sisters doing the singing, but the Heart of the band had left long before then. 1980's Heart music is forgettable, thank god. You want to react to a great Heart song that I haven't heard anyone react to yet? Kick it Out. It was on Little Queen, the same album that had Barracuda on it. There's a Letterman show video with the Foo Fighters performing Kick It Out with Ann and Nancy Wilson. It was an excellent live performance, like studio album quality. Check it out.
