It doesn't even LOOK like it goes on well. Other palettes, either. I mean I personally cannot afford to try it atm, but I've seen a lot of Viseart used and I don't really get it either. Especially when Tarte's way cheaper and their neutral shades are like butter.
... and to clarify, it does look pretty on you here. The colors are nice and you've made a lovely look with it; I just see how it looks like it's hard to work with.
I personally haven't tried the Viseart eyebrow palette, but I plan on adding it to my kit. I'm a pro MUA and I love Viseart shadows for their quality and packaging, but I totally understand they aren't for everyone. The packaging was designed with makeup artists in mind; it's small and compact so I don't break my back trying to carry everything, it's clear so I can easily reach for what I need, and the plastic is sturdy and doesn't break. I also believe that they chose to spend less on packaging so they could keep the quality of shadows high, but don't quote me on it. :) Just thought I'd add my 2 cents, I love your videos and wish you all the best!!

Hi I fell for the hype of the CT bronze and glow palette and was so disappointed - made me look like a corpse. So many people love it though so maybe it works for those with cool skin tones. idk. or maybe better used as a contour. I checked out the flawless filter too in shade 3, it was too pink. Shade 4 is more golden but too dark.
Janet Teehan I think it depends on your skin tone. I have both products and love them a lot! I use the palette as a contour and not a bronzer; looks way better that way ❤️
For the price, the packaging of Viseart products really infuriates me. But the quality of the eyeshadows is gorgeous. I love them so much! I'll say the mattes are even better than Pat McGrath's. I think the problem with this palette is that it's primarily designed for brows.
Viseart is a company that solely sold to makeup artist until the last few years they’ve really been pushing smaller pallets for the mainstream peeps and I love every.single.one.of.them!👏👏👏 I’ve never had a matte not blend beautiful. I was bummed for you that it did that on your eyes.

Mystique Darkholme I think they must’ve changed packaging a bit recently. I bought the Coy palette a couple of weeks ago, and although I still don’t love it, I don’t mind it too much. It feels better quality than I thought. I only had a couple of mini palettes until then, and I’m thinking of investing in one of the grande pros.

XD But I did like the way the magic cream with the wonder foundation made me skin look.) I've been wanting the pillow talk quad/eyeshadows for a while now. 😢😭 Ah to be broke.

I’d try the CT palette again with softer, fluffier natural bristle brushes. You’re right about the reddy/pink tone of the bronzer, but paired on top of a warmer bronzer, it adds beautiful dimension and can serve almost in place of a blush. The highlighter can be almost opaque if you go in direct from the pan, so I like to pat it on my hand a couple times before I go onto my face and that helps diffuse it.

Im sorry to hear about your breakup. The only thing that i can say or offer is that try to keep yourself busy with activities that can really help grow your character and personality. Time doesnt heal all wounds but what you do within that time does! Also, surround yourself with a solid support system. You should try the newer viseart palettes that are relatively more affordable, the edit palettes. I love my warm edits and want the paris and dark edits so bad

I am in a 12yr long relationship but there are 2 individuals from my past that I wish Happy Birthdays/Holidays to every year and I am so happy for them when I hear abut their life updates because they were a part of my life, my personal growth and knowing they are doing well makes me happy and thankful for the amazing relationship I am in! (not that anyone ever has to be in a relationship -- cats are also a great life choice 😊)

Breakup are the most painful thing. I’m sorry. Especially as water signs girl we feel too much. Trust me I felt that way too but one day I realized how much better it was to be alone doing whatever the fuck I wanted than with my controlling ex! I can’t even explain the freedom of that feeling and how good it felt. Then the next guy I dated was a level up in every way. Handsome, kind, good job not controlling! And I never would have met him if I hadn’t broken up with the first guy. One day it will all make sense I promise!!!

I have only used the Viseart palettes from their more normal consumer line which I like, and the prices for that line are much more reasonable. I do think I like Natasha Denona better, although I have found more colour stories that speak to me in Viseart. I haven’t tried Pat McGrath yet, although Sephora Aus are soon having a sale & I might finally pick up the Mothership V palette that I have been wanting since it’s release.
I wonder if you would like the viseart eye shadow better if you tried using eye lid primer instead of concealer. Concealer for me is best for concealing discoloration and can be more prone to creasing and is more greasy and thick for the lids. I like mac paint pot for primer.
When thinking about the lack of packaging with Viseart, I have to remember that they’re designed for working makeup artists. The tops are see through so you can see what you have/need without opening several palettes. I also love them as a small company. They’re such a giving company and I support them 100% even if I don’t like everything they do.
As a working makeup artist I can tell you that it doesn’t matter! you get to know the ins and outs of your kit, it’s like muscle memory plus it’s rare that you work just out of kit. Most times you have a table and you lay everything out opened so you have easy access and it’s quick. They’re grabbing hold of that concept to blind the consumer so their cheep packaging can slide under the rug!
Girl I’m going through a breakup too rn, super crappy, and bad timing 😢 but keep yourself busy and find some new hobbies! Also big thing that’s helped me is if you don’t want to delete your pics just hide them in a folder and I find I’m way less likely to look at them! Hope you’re doing okay ❤️

I couldn’t agree more! Don’t get the hype. Texture is thin and dry and so chalky and hard to blend. I have no idea why it’s so hyped.

I originally bought the 4 in the Kosas concealer. I got the 3.5 and it’s perfect!

I am in a 12yr long relationship but there are 2 individuals from my past that I wish Happy Birthdays/Holidays to every year and I am so happy for them when I hear abut their life updates because they were a part of my life, my personal growth and knowing they are doing well makes me happy and thankful for the amazing relationship I am in! (not that anyone ever has to be in a relationship -- cats are also a great life choice 😊)

Breakup are the most painful thing. I’m sorry. Especially as water signs girl we feel too much. Trust me I felt that way too but one day I realized how much better it was to be alone doing whatever the fuck I wanted than with my controlling ex! I can’t even explain the freedom of that feeling and how good it felt. Then the next guy I dated was a level up in every way. Handsome, kind, good job not controlling! And I never would have met him if I hadn’t broken up with the first guy. One day it will all make sense I promise!!!

I have only used the Viseart palettes from their more normal consumer line which I like, and the prices for that line are much more reasonable. I do think I like Natasha Denona better, although I have found more colour stories that speak to me in Viseart. I haven’t tried Pat McGrath yet, although Sephora Aus are soon having a sale & I might finally pick up the Mothership V palette that I have been wanting since it’s release.
I wonder if you would like the viseart eye shadow better if you tried using eye lid primer instead of concealer. Concealer for me is best for concealing discoloration and can be more prone to creasing and is more greasy and thick for the lids. I like mac paint pot for primer.
When thinking about the lack of packaging with Viseart, I have to remember that they’re designed for working makeup artists. The tops are see through so you can see what you have/need without opening several palettes. I also love them as a small company. They’re such a giving company and I support them 100% even if I don’t like everything they do.
As a working makeup artist I can tell you that it doesn’t matter! you get to know the ins and outs of your kit, it’s like muscle memory plus it’s rare that you work just out of kit. Most times you have a table and you lay everything out opened so you have easy access and it’s quick. They’re grabbing hold of that concept to blind the consumer so their cheep packaging can slide under the rug!

Girl I’m going through a breakup too rn, super crappy, and bad timing 😢 but keep yourself busy and find some new hobbies! Also big thing that’s helped me is if you don’t want to delete your pics just hide them in a folder and I find I’m way less likely to look at them! Hope you’re doing okay ❤️
