6 months from now, I’ll get it to the appropriate at tempo speed. Great what next? “Yeah there’s like 6 other variations of this in the song” “DAMN YOU HAAKE!!!”
Bleed is an interesting case because what is happening for your feet is actually just an alternative of a common exercise for your hands. Guitars don't have that.
Except we do lmao, take a legato exercise with your left and instead play with your right hand tapping, wow now it’s a new limb doing the common exercise.
Like yeah you can’t use your feet to play guitar but there are so many different fundamental ways to play that it’s strange to act like you can’t play the same exercise with different techniques or positions or limbs. You can play Hertas with a pick or your fingers…
@@PurpleBled what I was talking about is things drummers regularly do. What you're talking about is something guitar players do not normally do, and by a long shot. It's creative and one of many ways to accomplish the objective but it isn't regular at all, which is the point.
THis is my personnal new challenge with war of Beings from Tesseract. Perfect exercices for control and endurance. Thanks for this very clear explanation !
I'm going to try this. Right now I play it like a paradiddle which is more balanced out starting on opposite sides Heal-toe then left right, Then opposite heal-toe right left. Not only is it balanced out but it will help you with heal toe speed. Basically it's a Foot paradiddle.
It's different for everyone. Yes you can practice everyday. But if your leg muscles cannot take it, say they're experiencing too much fatigue without being allowed to rest therefore repair and grow. They won't get stronger and sometimes it leads to injury when people overdo it. On the other hand if there is too little fatigue and consistency required for the goal, then also no growth. What's your current routine like for your legs every week? Also are you Improving at the rate you want to? My current routine is 5 days of leg practice, 2 days of rest.
@@ArtOfDrummingHQ I'm a single pedal drummer for now, but I'm still trying to get my right leg/foot faster. Currently, I practice leg and foot exercises about 4-6 days a week. I feel like I'm not improving at the rate I want to, but that could just be me not having enough patience. My goal is to play eighth notes at 160 bpm, rn I can do about 120/130, which is better than where I was but I think I should be further ahead after ~3 months of working on it
You hit the reason on the head already. Patience. I don't like to attach time frames to my goals. I like to attach execution. So for example instead of 3 months I expect to be 160bpm. Say I will do 50 practice sessions and then assess where I'm at. That helps you to be patient, avoid rushing and practicing unoptimally, get over frustrated and disappointed. Some of them is always healthy but too much slows anyone down or worse forces them to give up even though they want it a lot.

I'd genuinely want to know where you've seen or heard this being confirmed. The live footage available on youtube where you have a feet cam doesn't seem like he's playing 2 on the right foot, especially with how his left foot goes.
Brother, you’re incredible. Keep up the great work!
Thanks again Brandon, u have the best day!
leaving room in the explanation to grow and progress into is great. Excellence isnt built in a day

Thanks bro! I never knew this nites existed. Is it possible to get a video of the different drum notes and how to play them? Fine job btw!
Oh you mean how to read drum music notation? Thanks David for the nice comments again!
@@ArtOfDrummingHQ yep!
Lol, thought it sounded like Bleed while it was slow. Then i looked down at the title :P
Man I thought the feet would be the hardest part, and then I tried to combine it with the snare pattern 😵
You can see me concentrating in the video haha, I too can't play this while not using my brain. It is hard.
🔥
🙌
Sickness
Could you imagine playing this every night live that polyrhythm I bet the drummer could stomp and cause earthquakes
😂 Many drummers simultaneously playing like this will create an apocalyptic event.
Easy boy
❤❤herta
Yeaaaahhhhh!!!
what about the snare ghost notes
You have no idea what they even are
@@00acleland thats crazy fr bro
Ooooh you're right, i didnt hear them in the recording but he plays it live clear as day. Thanks for the sharing 💯🤝

How frequently should I take breaks? I was always under the impression that more practice = better, but should I not be playing every day?

Missing ghost notes on snare - so this is the lazy left hand version
That's just the extra version. Go peel an orange about muh ghost notes mate lol
Can you put R and L over the notes to show the pattern?
It's fast but i think it said something about a "perineal tendon" injury... My brother... Did you sprain your gooch playing this?
💚kick ass! Great feel!
Thanks!
💣💥🎶💯🙌
💯🤘😁
And now add a Moeller whipping motion to the right hand and you've got it
I try thought i was doin it correct. I dunno why I thought it was alternating Herta. Whatever the spelling. Thanks.
Oh hey nothing wrong with alternating strokes too. If you can play it, more power to you!
@@ArtOfDrummingHQ hahaha no. But yea. For practice. Great breakdown of it. It’s much easier your way haha. Thank you 🙏
what a great video!
Which are you using DW5000 turbo or acceralation model?
thanks in advance!
This is the turbo model! I never tried the acceleration though so i dont know the difference
if you have good technique you can do this on any pedal. thinking the gear will do it for you it is a losing route.
WHY i can hear the riff and the vocals on My head..???? I'm i crazy? 😢
This song is just fucked 😅😅😂😂 but I love it
😂cheers James
Is it qtr notes or 8th notes on the cymbal?
8th notes, but there's a slight accent on the quarters

add ghost notes and done
I think 115 is 5 bpm higher
I think 115bpm is exact though, mapped it out on my DAW. Or I took an edited track by mistake haha
