2024 All-New Chevrolet Trax 1.2L Turbo Full Review
This is the SUV that will battle the likes of Forester, CX-5, RAV4, and etc.
The price is surprisingly high but when you drive it, you get to understand.

It's an American brand but made in Korea! Those rims shown are for the 1RS trim in the USA market, which costs about $24K. The USA trim modes DO NOT come with shark fin antenna, power lift gate, armrest in the back seat, and no air vents in the center console for the back seat.

Prices of the Philippine spec Chevrolet Trax is similar to the ones available in Chevrolet Cambodia

Not sure why TCCCI positioned the ‘24 Trax this way in the Philippines while in the US the 1.3 Trailblazer’s position is higher. Unless there’s an incoming price increase..
Trailblazer in the Philippine market are the lower end variants 😂
Chevrolet Philippines doesn't sell the Trailblazer RS AWD as it'll be priced like a Trax RS 😂
@@KuchingKingVideoGamer Quite odd.. and the Trailblazer still has the slightly better engine. Hopefully they bring in the 2024 TB RS AWD variant, but that will break the 2M mark for sure following their pricing for the Trax.
I'll be more practical getting the Geely Coolray SE packed with features, power and looks at a 1.3 million price tag
Trax is positioned against the Peugeot 2008 and Geely Azkarra 😂
Coolray is smaller and doesn't have ADAS 😂

Corolla Cross Hybrid got very long wait list (3 to 6 months) aside from its Hybrid batteries are so expensive to replace (300,000 up to 400,000 Pesos for whole Hybrid battery pack replacement).😂
@@KuchingKingVideoGamer replacement is a matter of use. It's toyota so replacing batteries seems weird. And whats 3-6 mos of wait, I have an extra car anyway, kinda depends on the area too.

Government is reserving incentives to cars manufactured or produced locally satin. The strategy somewhat common for south korea too during their early industrialization i think in 70s to protect sk made cars.... Thais is doing this too.
Vios and mirage is cheaper bec it is incentive and under cars program since it is locally produce here. But i think if they want to protect our local manufacturing and attract cars companies to produce here is

Price is insane for a 1.2 3cylinder car. Not worth it, I'd rather get a fortuner V for that price knowing japanese quality is top notch.

There's no hybrid variant of the Trax as Chevrolet prefers EV technology
Hybrid technology is outdated already and the batteries of it are expensive.

Chevrolet? Hard pass! Its expensive, low quality and parts are hard too find and also expensive. Resale value is too low. Very slow also for its price.

Filipinos need a 500k brand new car that has some tech and ease of maintenance to boot. Maybe somebody from CAMPI should establish a local brand with parts and designs sourced from our ASEAN neighbors, China, and India.
