Thank u so much for tuning into my live stream this evening! It means so much to me and it was so cool how supportive you were! Thanks again man I love ur stuff!
That is awesome! Remember to teach your grandson good process and use gloves! Lots of opportunity to spill the plastisol when moving in and out of the vacuum chamber!
Very cool...I always like a good color match challenge myself! Nice to see a new video this boring sunday!!!! I dig the recipe u came up with man well done@
I say you nailed it Michael. Great Job. And I Absolutely Love this Bait Challenge!!! I think it’s a great idea. It will make for some great content! 🍻👊🏻
You're very welcome!! It's a really fun way to enhance your fishing hobby. You can throw baits that the other guys aren't throwing, custom colors, stuff the fish haven't seen before. It really gets those extra bites!!
Yeah it was hard, I think it's because one side is pure powder, even ZOOM has a hard time with the clean laminates. It's ok though, I like the blended look.
Looks great 👍 I may try some Dead-on Dorothy to the bottom and take some of the red out of the top as a trade off for me to try and if that don't do it for me I would just keep it the way you did it😊 good stuff
Must be something in the air, LOL! I just filmed a video yesterday using red highlight in the belly as well - swimbait for me though. Good stuff man, Solar Sugar for the win... dang!! Loved it in the belly as well!
Hey Micheal can you do a video showing how the use of flakes change the outcome of colors in baits. I’ve heard it mentioned but haven’t really seen a dedicated video on it
The Super Float is from MF Manufacturing. I've had it here for about 6 months now and just cracked it open for this video. Unfortunately MF is not making plastic anymore so you need to find it at a place like Barlows or Zeiners if they have any left in stock.
@@baitchuckin yea I've checked their website for plastic and it's always sold out. Even all the colorants are sold out. Wonder why they stopped making it
awesome video, I really like the variations of watermelon red. Very cool, yuo nailed it in my opinion. On your next video that you color match, try taking a slice off the bait and hold it up to the light to see the differences in laminate or single colors. Usually 1/8th to 3/16th slice will give you a true look at the laminates. Keep it coming any chance you can do a Reaction Innovations version of Watermelon Red. In my opinion Zoom and Reaction Innovations have the best 2 watermelon red colors.
Looks pretty zoomie to me I made some my self but the watermelon red pack of zoom I had looked more like a red pearl instead of a hi light I it was so old one I just wandering if zoom change there recipe in joyed the content thanks again triple j baits
Oh wow, yeah that could be. Perhaps they changed the recipe, because I remember Chris Jones specifically adding red pearl in his original video for it. That may have been why.
How is the action of that frog? I have the anglin ai AR frog and its alright but its not heavy enough so Im looking for a little heavier frog for more noise..
It has great action and it kicks up a ton of bubbles! Leaves a nice bubble trail behind it. I've been using it on a 5/0 frog hood and it comes over cover really nice and stays pretty weedless.
Yeah it's an exact match on the belly as far as I'm concerned. If anything I might use LESS powder than I did to allow more of the green to be used as a dark backer to bring out the red more.
If’n ya close one eye .., and squint the other … 🫣. It’s pretty darn good !!! LoL 😂. but YA dude it’s looks from this side of the camera very same same 🤙👊
Ok ok I'll make watermelon red pearl again.....but this time I gotta do it right!
I can't wait to see how you approach the color match! It will be fun to see you re-visit this color!
Thank u so much for tuning into my live stream this evening! It means so much to me and it was so cool how supportive you were! Thanks again man I love ur stuff!
No problem!! I was curious to see how the remelt turned out! I always try and support the community! Keep up the videos! 🙌🏼
Really enjoyed this one, that solar sugar really was the icing on the cake!
Yes it was! Really made them pop! Thanks for the support!! 🙌🏼
Looks like a great match to me but adding the solar sugar is genius, very nice effect. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, the Solar Sugar was a nice addition wo the Watermelon Red.
Nailed it ! thanks for another great video. Me and my grandson just got our new vacuum pump chamber and dual injector will soon be making baits.
That’s awesome! Teach the youth
That is awesome! Remember to teach your grandson good process and use gloves! Lots of opportunity to spill the plastisol when moving in and out of the vacuum chamber!
Definitely nailed it! The solar sugar one is sick! Now I gotta try the challenge, you’re making us work!
Please join in the fun!!! I think it would be awesome if there was a bunch of us making the same color.
Nice color, good matching.
Thank you! Cheers!
Very cool...I always like a good color match challenge myself!

Thanks! Been trying to stay on the weekly video grind now that things are settling down and the weather is cooling off.
@baitchuckin we sure do appreciate all ur efforts
I say you nailed it Michael. Great Job. And I Absolutely Love this Bait Challenge!!! I think it’s a great idea. It will make for some great content! 🍻👊🏻
Thanks 👍 I hope that lots of the other guys decide to make videos on the same color!
Man I love watermelon red anything
It's pretty incredible how many baits look good in this colorway.
Looks great! Good job
Thank you! Cheers!
The Solar Sugar in the last ones is definitely money! Awesome!!
I think so too! That's the set I'm keeping for my boat! LOL
What 🐇 hole have i found. Never made a bait before, but love your show. Thank you for all shared knowledge.
You're very welcome!! It's a really fun way to enhance your fishing hobby. You can throw baits that the other guys aren't throwing, custom colors, stuff the fish haven't seen before. It really gets those extra bites!!
Nice color by the way Michael.
Thanks brother!!
Nailed it!
Thank You!!
I would say that’s pretty dang close!! The hardest part is finding a clean laminate to get a good view of the belly lol
Yeah it was hard, I think it's because one side is pure powder, even ZOOM has a hard time with the clean laminates. It's ok though, I like the blended look.
Great match! I thought it was just red highlight as well 🙌🏻
I think that's what it is!
Looks great 👍 I may try some Dead-on Dorothy to the bottom and take some of the red out of the top as a trade off for me to try and if that don't do it for me I would just keep it the way you did it😊 good stuff
Great idea! I think the Dorothy would work well with this combo for sure!!
Killing it as always! You've helped me learn a lot!
Sweet! I'm glad to know it's helping people make some great colors at home!
Prefect
Thank You!!!
Wow lookin damn good 👍
Thank You!! It's a color I'm going to start pouring more now!
Must be something in the air, LOL! I just filmed a video yesterday using red highlight in the belly as well - swimbait for me though. Good stuff man, Solar Sugar for the win... dang!! Loved it in the belly as well!
Your turn I want to see you do this challenge
Thanks Adam!! I would love to see you make a go at the Watermelon Red Pearl!!
Phenomenal
Thank You!
Hey Micheal can you do a video showing how the use of flakes change the outcome of colors in baits. I’ve heard it mentioned but haven’t really seen a dedicated video on it
I can certainly work on something for that. Great video idea!
@@baitchuckin thank you!
Nice. I am not on you tube but I am going to make some to.
Awesome! It's a great recipe to have in the arsenal!!
Awesome match. Who makes the super float plastisol?
The Super Float is from MF Manufacturing. I've had it here for about 6 months now and just cracked it open for this video. Unfortunately MF is not making plastic anymore so you need to find it at a place like Barlows or Zeiners if they have any left in stock.

Yeah I can grab some Sweet Beavers in Watermelon Red. Reaction Innovations also makes a killer California 420 that does well for me also.
Looks pretty zoomie to me I made some my self but the watermelon red pack of zoom I had looked more like a red pearl instead of a hi light I it was so old one I just wandering if zoom change there recipe in joyed the content thanks again triple j baits

You're welcome!
Could the Zoom be a triple?
No, it's definitely a 2 color laminate when looking at it up close.
looks great..... Red Hi-lite is 100 percent the bottum, to my eyes.
Yeah it's an exact match on the belly as far as I'm concerned. If anything I might use LESS powder than I did to allow more of the green to be used as a dark backer to bring out the red more.
If i had some plastisol and some time id make some but im currently out of plastisol
Well once you get re-stocked you can come back and grab the recipe!
Yeah. Close but not really. I'm sure there's more to the "pearl" part.
Yes, actually Chris Jones pretty much nailed it on his channel. He added a few drops of black and it was spot on!
If’n ya close one eye .., and squint the other … 🫣. It’s pretty darn good !!! LoL 😂. but YA dude it’s looks from this side of the camera very same same 🤙👊
Thanks 👍 Yeah I think it turned out pretty good!
