People of color: please be mindful of which part of Newnan you move to. There is still a prominent confederate loving population of vocal white supremacists all over this city. Yes, there are somewhat diverse and accepting areas, but overall you will constantly be reminded of Newnan’s racist history and may have to walk on eggshells.
I disagree but again that’s “MY” experience. I’ve never felt I’ve had to walk on eggshells in Newnan in fact I feel it’s what you look for you will find “anywhere”. Confederate loving populations are all over the US… thanks for commenting and watching and sharing your opinions. They are definitely appreciated as I encourage all viewers to express their opinions.
I'm African and moved to this area 3 yrs ago. I almost bought in Gennesse but instead bought a new built property 3 min from Gennesse with no HOA and multiple acreage. Love it out here, the schools are excellent, my kids have truly excelled and have built up 50% equity in 3 yrs. I mind my business and enjoy the quality of life.
