This is a good example of an evergreen video and probably one of your highest view counts. You should record another of these BUT make sure you talk through each of the other wrong answers on every question to fully flesh out the concepts. That will teach much more effectively.
I took my state exam today and passed!!!!!!! To all the listeners getting ready to take the test. Understand the reason more than the question and answer. It will take you a long way. I went to a different school for the course work but listening to all these videos over and over and over really helped me get it. The test fully tries to trick you. You’ll breeze through the question and look at an answer you think is right. It’s not 50% of the time. Really take the time to read the question. Btw, I passed my exam on the first try!!!!!

To the person nervous as all hell about the test and unsure of which free/cheap resource to use - PrepAgent is the one! Moreso than more expensive courses I paid for. I passed my test in April and told myself I’d come back to share some reassurance with others. Here it is. Study the vocabulary and take all of PrepAgents practice tests and you’ll be fine. If you find yourself stumped on questions - go in the bathroom and do 25 jumping jacks and then come back and look at the hardest questions. That little break does something to sharpen your brain when you hit a wall. Good luck!

I took the exam Nov 4th, 2023, and passed! You can do it if you know your vocabulary front and back. It helps you decipher the tricky questions. Thank you so much Prep Agent. Forver grateful 🙏🏽

@Clareau everything was compiled on one long screen. The questions are created to throw you off, but if you study the vocabulary, you will be able to decipher what's being asked. Skip the ones you don't know to give yourself time, then go back to the question. I took it inside a large office building. The last word of advice is to walk in with confidence that you will pass because you will.
I passed my CA Real Estate exam on Wednesday. First time taking the exam too. I truly believe the prep agent is one of the best ones explaining and covering most of the things in the CA real Estate exam. Things that were on my exam: escheat, accretion, alluvium, types of appraisals (all of them), bundle of rights, easements, loan origination, types of ownership, life estate, type of rents, liens, encroachment, Join tenancy (survivorship) Hope it helps :) Good luck everyone
Question are not similar there longer and answers are very long to and English is super difficult vocabulary, I am from Ukraine and I didn’t pass with 67%
Passed the Wa real estate exam first try 1/21/25, most of the studying I did was watching prep agent most common vocab mixed with most common questions from 23/24 not even 2025 but they were still extremely relevant!!
@@whitneywashington7020 the math is definitely more on the 1 or step side so don’t waste time on all the formulas, know the Alabama specific stuff because know things like how many licenses are actually in a brokerage matters, like the company having a license as well as the Broker, any associate brokers have only 1 licenses and all the salespersons have one as well, that one was tricky… and watch this video over and over because a lot of this is there just worded differently, it’s better to understand than to memorize tho…
I passed my test today and am officially a licensed real estate agent!!! Thank you Joe and Prep Agent you are the reason I was able to!! PREP AGENT IS THE BEST.
I passed my NJ exam on the first try using Prep Agent. My advice is that you do as many questions as possible. I was up to 400 a day for the 2 weeks before the exam. Know your math formulas. From my test experience: - lots of questions on mortgages and calculating points - know your listing styles cold, they asked a few of those questions - asked a good amount of questions about contracts - had a question involving an amortization table - pretty random but I admit I had no idea what I was looking at. I still passed and you can too!
I remember in 2007 when I was working in real estate seeing people buy homes new from builders with the intention of selling before close of escrow to a new buyer for profit. The crash was so brutal and fast that I remember seeing a lot of these units foreclosed on with the builder plastic still on the carpet.

Took my exam and passed first time last week. Used the CE shop for course work but these videos as well as other channels helped the most. Just keep taking practice tests and taking notes on anything you need to study more. Yall got this
I took my national and state exam today and passed 1st try. Scored 94% on the national portion and 89% on the state portion and I owe a lot of that to you Joe! Thank you so much for these great vids!

I passed today on my first try in California! If you’re watching these videos, they really helped me build confidence and understand the material. I also recommend purchasing access to the website so you can take the practice exams. Plus, Amazon has great flashcards through Dearborn that were super helpful. Good luck!

I studied very inconsistently after my 63 hour course. I started watching prep agent videos 2 days before my exam and i feel like Joe just taught me how to read the questions and make sense of the answers! I passed on the first try! recommend all their videos and programs.

Took my State Test this past week and passed on my first try. I was making study guides and attempting to study the old fashioned way and didn't feel like it was an effective strategy. The practice exam part on Prep Agent was def. the deciding factor in passing. Taking the practice exams everyday allowed me to get a better understanding of the type of questions that were on the test. I don't feel like I would've passed without it. Thanks again
I agree. I'm waiting for my notice of exam eligibility, and I'm finding that looking at the practice exams are helping me way more because I get more confused on the questions more than the material itself.
I took my CA real estate exam for the first time last Monday (1/24/22) and passed! THANK YOU Prep Agent Joe for your videos, they are so helpful. I literally watched your videos for the two weeks leading into my exam. Advice that I would give is to also study the material in your real estate books, not just these videos. Like someone else said, understand the reason, not just the definitions. These videos were a HUGE help in my understanding of certain terms and concepts. Joe always makes things so much easier than what they seem to be. The way I did it: Studied my real estate books and then anything I didn't understand I went to Prep Agent for additional clarification. The practice questions were helpful too, but like Joe suggested, I did not look at practice questions in the couple days before my exam so to not confuse myself with answers. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Thank you, Prep Agent! Today I passed my CA Broker Exam, and this video (as well as few others) plus John Henderson’s broker prep book made up my prep material. Thought I’d post my experiences and tips in case it helps someone else... 1. In watching the videos, take a screenshot for question and use as flash cards later. 2. Take as many practice exams as possible. After grading, study your wrong questions and responses. Later test yourself again. 3. CA Broker test had many more agency/disclosure questions than anticipated. Lots of scenarios thrown at you so be fluid in your understanding. 4. Assume no less than 40 hours of prep. It’s a wide array of material so budget time accordingly! 5. Stay positive and believe your preparation! Good luck!!!
Thank you JOE and prep agent! I took my test this morning in Sacramento, Ca.... I PASSED !!!! First try! I went in there very confident because your videos, webinars and practice exams! I pretty much ONLY used your program to pass today. The test was not easy by an means. The questions have very tricky wording but if you know the vocab you’ll be fine. What to do:: study VOCAB everyday as well as concepts like 1. Fair housing laws , 2. Mandatory disclosures like truth in lending, transfer disclosure statements, etc. 3. Laws of agency and real estate practice. But ALWAYS , ALWAYS be studying vocab. You need to spend 2 - 3 hours studying daily for about 3-6 weeks. Really focus and be confident in yourself! You can do it
I failed the test my first round, and was recommended this channel by the broker company I’ll be working with. Highly recommend, I watched these videos religiously for 2 days between my first failed attempt, and my second attempt today - and passed! 🎉

I did this everyday... listening to it while driving, at work and at home...repetition is key!!! I’m a visual and audio learner so this really helped. I took my exam today and I passed!!! In Illinois they don’t tell you your score. They just send an email that says passed. I am so grateful to you guys for these videos. I have stacks of notes and I studied beyond studying and I failed the test the first two times. But listening to these webinars pulled all those missing pieces together for me. Please keep doing what your doing. I am truly appreciative
They do tell you your score along with the highest grade you could get and the passing grade which is 70% they tell you how many questions you answered right and wrong.
I took my exam downtown 300 S. Michigan Ave in Chicago IL. And I wanted to know my score but on my psi exam it only said PASSED with no scoring. When I FAILED it showed me my score and what I got wrong.
Ooh I see! Yeah I took mine there too and this explains why I saw what I missed lol because I failed!😢 but I’m going to try again before the year is over I wonder if next year I still get another 4 try’s
It’s October & I forgot to tell you all I passed finally after the 4th attempt!! I spent money not only on exams but also for the reviews of my exam & which questions I got wrong. This is a super helpful study tool! But it is only review for the national portion of the test so I recommend watching this at least once, reviewing definitions and math concepts that you are fuzzy on, and also looking up review videos for your specific state.

I’ve been studying for my real estate exam for a while now. I took an online course just before Covid hit but never took the actual State exam. Well my certificate is due to expire December 31st 2022 so I’ve had to put it in gear and set a goal to pass the exam by December or risk having to go back to school all over again….. since it was an online course I pretty much studied solo by choice (not the best idea looking back) but luckily I came across your TH-cam channel!!! What a difference it made for me! I was able to make much more sense of the fundamentals of Real Estate!!! As a result I took my exam today and PASSED!!!!🎉🍾 Words cannot describe how shocked, excited, grateful and exhausted I was! I’m truly thankful for your videos. I just wanted to come on here and give Prep Agent THEIR FLOWERS!! I watched the videos religiously and honestly understood the vocab SO MUCH easier then in class. I took both exams this morning and PASSED the Naitonal but failed the State. I give all credit to Joe and the Prep Agent Team. I could not have done this without you guys. I will be studying for the State with my real estate school’s textbook. I didn’t truly study for that portion because I was so focused on the National. I believe I’ll do well when I retake the State portion this week.

I took the CA exam today and passed, first try!!! I watched his videos and repeatedly took the practice quizzes and master exam over a four week period. I took the quizzes with the goal of passing each with at least a 90%. This is how I cemented the info and it worked. Good luck to you all!!

Passed the Wa real estate exam first try 1/21/25, most of the studying I did was watching prep agent most common vocab mixed with most common questions from 23/24 not even 2025 but they were still extremely relevant!!

@@whitneywashington7020 the math is definitely more on the 1 or step side so don’t waste time on all the formulas, know the Alabama specific stuff because know things like how many licenses are actually in a brokerage matters, like the company having a license as well as the Broker, any associate brokers have only 1 licenses and all the salespersons have one as well, that one was tricky… and watch this video over and over because a lot of this is there just worded differently, it’s better to understand than to memorize tho…

I passed my NJ exam on the first try using Prep Agent. My advice is that you do as many questions as possible. I was up to 400 a day for the 2 weeks before the exam. Know your math formulas.
From my test experience:
- lots of questions on mortgages and calculating points
- know your listing styles cold, they asked a few of those questions
- asked a good amount of questions about contracts
- had a question involving an amortization table - pretty random but I admit I had no idea what I was looking at. I still passed and you can too!

I remember in 2007 when I was working in real estate seeing people buy homes new from builders with the intention of selling before close of escrow to a new buyer for profit. The crash was so brutal and fast that I remember seeing a lot of these units foreclosed on with the builder plastic still on the carpet.
She appears to be well-educated and well-read. I ran an online search on her name and came across her website; thank you for sharing.

I passed today on my first try in California! If you’re watching these videos, they really helped me build confidence and understand the material. I also recommend purchasing access to the website so you can take the practice exams. Plus, Amazon has great flashcards through Dearborn that were super helpful. Good luck!

I studied very inconsistently after my 63 hour course. I started watching prep agent videos 2 days before my exam and i feel like Joe just taught me how to read the questions and make sense of the answers! I passed on the first try! recommend all their videos and programs.

I saw some of the questions multiple times, but no test was identical.

Which real state course you used?
Took my State Test this past week and passed on my first try. I was making study guides and attempting to study the old fashioned way and didn't feel like it was an effective strategy. The practice exam part on Prep Agent was def. the deciding factor in passing. Taking the practice exams everyday allowed me to get a better understanding of the type of questions that were on the test. I don't feel like I would've passed without it. Thanks again

I agree. I'm waiting for my notice of exam eligibility, and I'm finding that looking at the practice exams are helping me way more because I get more confused on the questions more than the material itself.
I took my CA real estate exam for the first time last Monday (1/24/22) and passed! THANK YOU Prep Agent Joe for your videos, they are so helpful. I literally watched your videos for the two weeks leading into my exam. Advice that I would give is to also study the material in your real estate books, not just these videos. Like someone else said, understand the reason, not just the definitions. These videos were a HUGE help in my understanding of certain terms and concepts. Joe always makes things so much easier than what they seem to be. The way I did it: Studied my real estate books and then anything I didn't understand I went to Prep Agent for additional clarification. The practice questions were helpful too, but like Joe suggested, I did not look at practice questions in the couple days before my exam so to not confuse myself with answers. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Thank you, Prep Agent! Today I passed my CA Broker Exam, and this video (as well as few others) plus John Henderson’s broker prep book made up my prep material. Thought I’d post my experiences and tips in case it helps someone else...
1. In watching the videos, take a screenshot for question and use as flash cards later.
2. Take as many practice exams as possible. After grading, study your wrong questions and responses. Later test yourself again.
3. CA Broker test had many more agency/disclosure questions than anticipated. Lots of scenarios thrown at you so be fluid in your understanding.
4. Assume no less than 40 hours of prep. It’s a wide array of material so budget time accordingly!
5. Stay positive and believe your preparation!

Thank you JOE and prep agent! I took my test this morning in Sacramento, Ca.... I PASSED !!!! First try! I went in there very confident because your videos, webinars and practice exams! I pretty much ONLY used your program to pass today. The test was not easy by an means. The questions have very tricky wording but if you know the vocab you’ll be fine. What to do:: study VOCAB everyday as well as concepts like 1. Fair housing laws , 2. Mandatory disclosures like truth in lending, transfer disclosure statements, etc. 3. Laws of agency and real estate practice. But ALWAYS , ALWAYS be studying vocab. You need to spend 2 - 3 hours studying daily for about 3-6 weeks. Really focus and be confident in yourself! You can do it

I PASSED THE FLORIDA EXAM ON MY 1ST TRY!!! THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR VIDEOS. When I took my course final I had my notes and barely passed. I'm upset because I second guessed myself and made them wrong. And still passed. And I got all the math correct. I got 12 questions!

I sure can... so for the National portion of the real estate exam, I studied all of prep agent vocabulary by listening to the videos over and over and writing the vocabulary words and defining them like Joe taught us... I did this everyday... listening to it while driving, at work and at home...repetition is key!!! I’m a visual and audio learner so this really helped. I took my exam today and I passed!!! In Illinois they don’t tell you your score. They just send an email that says passed. I am so grateful to you guys for these videos. I have stacks of notes and I studied beyond studying and I failed the test the first two times. But listening to these webinars pulled all those missing pieces together for me. Please keep doing what your doing. I am truly appreciative
They do tell you your score along with the highest grade you could get and the passing grade which is 70% they tell you how many questions you answered right and wrong.
I took my exam downtown 300 S. Michigan Ave in Chicago IL. And I wanted to know my score but on my psi exam it only said PASSED with no scoring. When I FAILED it showed me my score and what I got wrong.
Ooh I see! Yeah I took mine there too and this explains why I saw what I missed lol because I failed!😢 but I’m going to try again before the year is over I wonder if next year I still get another 4 try’s

It’s October & I forgot to tell you all I passed finally after the 4th attempt!! I spent money not only on exams but also for the reviews of my exam & which questions I got wrong. I vowed to never to give up until I saw a “PASS” instead of “FAIL”!

This is a super helpful study tool! But it is only review for the national portion of the test so I recommend watching this at least once, reviewing definitions and math concepts that you are fuzzy on, and also looking up review videos for your specific state.

I’ve been studying for my real estate exam for a while now. I took an online course just before Covid hit but never took the actual State exam. Well my certificate is due to expire December 31st 2022 so I’ve had to put it in gear and set a goal to pass the exam by December or risk having to go back to school all over again….. since it was an online course I pretty much studied solo by choice (not the best idea looking back) but luckily I came across your TH-cam channel!!! What a difference it made for me! I was able to make much more sense of the fundamentals of Real Estate!!! As a result I took my exam today and PASSED!!!!🎉🍾 Words cannot describe how shocked, excited, grateful and exhausted I was! I’m truly thankful for your videos. I passed my exam on my second tried ! The first time I went I only study for 4 days , the second time I went I study for almost 2 weeks , learn vocabulary , pay really close attention to the question because they can be tricky and worded differently . Good luck to all you . Anything is possible !😃

I just wanted to come on here and give Prep Agent THEIR FLOWERS!! I watched the videos religiously and honestly understood the vocab SO MUCH easier then in class. I took both exams this morning and PASSED the Naitonal but failed the State. I give all credit to Joe and the Prep Agent Team. I could not have done this without you guys. I will be studying for the State with my real estate school’s textbook. I didn’t truly study for that portion because I was so focused on the National. I took the CA exam today and passed, first try!!! I watched his videos and repeatedly took the practice quizzes and master exam over a four week period. I took the quizzes with the goal of passing each with at least a 90%. This is how I cemented the info and it worked. Good luck to you all!!

This is the most helpful video I came across. (If you have one you feel passionately about post below). Not just good content but he brings a lot of personality which helps with retention. I recommend watching at 1.25 speed.
