My first tip to amateur singers is: Warm up! Just that alone will get you from a lousy useless voice, to something much more hopeful. It's really quite amazing and very few amateur singers know about it. We do a lot of karaoke and people will come up and ask "I have trouble, how can I sing like that", and that's the first thing I ask back. "Are you warm when you sing?" and they'll go "huh?". Warm up the voice before singing.
I agree, John! Warming up is a MUST! Click Here for great instructions on how to warm up your voice: th-cam.com/users/results?search_query=ken+tamplin+warm+up+

I've also had 'fans' say I can sing too but still haven't taken the leap. Your videos are really motivating me to really learn to sing, just like I learnt to play guitar.
I have come across a few vocal coaches that have their own schools and TH-cam channels. They all have great lessons and beautiful voices…. But, I have to say this for everyone to hear. Ken Tamplin makes all these amazing vocal coaches look like a 3rd grade choir performance.
Thank you brother I just bought me a guitar today and I just got on your TH-cam channel this is my first vocal test and I can already tell the difference in my voice I'm going to be singing gospel music all glory to God thank you so much brother I appreciate you I'm going to watch all your videos!!
Had voice lessons as a teen. Did some singing in church, in some groups in college. Even sang in a couple groups that have made some recordings. MAN, I wish I'd practiced like this!
i told someone i started doing these lessons. she said whoever is teaching you is teaching right. she has some background in singing. but the proof is in the voice like you always say ken! hahahah
I started to learn how to sing on my own 1 year ago, I watched several videos on TH-cam, but I didn’t improve almost anything ... until I found your channel, these exercises really improved my voice in a short time, especially how to open the throat.Thank you,Ken!
He is a great teacher. Everyone needs this foundation-me more than anyone. My goal is mostly to be able to carry a tune in a bucket without driving people to the exits. It would just be nice to sing a little bit along with a radio.
Ken, I found your channel after remembering this great Christian rock band that I listened to in the late 80's. I was blown away by the vocals and guitar work on a CD by the band Shout! Glad to have found you 30 years later. I'm now a 50+ old guitarist who wants to sing for my pleasure.
for the one of the best proofs of how good is his technique is by hearing the clean tone of his voice after so many years. I first found his tutorial in TH-cam when I was a teen, now I'm 27 and have a son and his spoken voice sounds cleaner than mine when I was in college. And I see some rock singers around my age or in their 30s that sound worse than a 60 old Marlboro smoker.
I've picked up things here and there, but never taken any lessons. Just kind of sing for fun over 10 years. It's interesting to see that with a better understanding / application of concepts how my singing marginally improves almost immediately.
I write music and sing. I have a baritone, but I don't know how to use it. Thanks to Ken, I will learn how to use my voice. I don't know English, but the video has subtitles and everything is clear. Thanks Ken! Hello from Ukraine!!!
Hey man, I doubt you’ll see this but I wanted to say I really appreciate your vids and they’re helping me out a lot! My friend and I started making music again for the first time in like 10 years (we are both 36) and we are doing that reggae/rock stuff. Absolutely worship brad nowell from sublime and watching these videos and your vocal breakdowns regarding harmonies is giving me the education to bring my vocals to a wholeeeee different level.
Oh my god! I love this guy! This exact what I have telling my students as I am a professional bowler /coach /ball drilling technician for over 50 years and have said “You can’t put a roof on a house without starting with the foundation first. Then come the walls, etc Right now we’re digging a hole for the foundation “ I have taken a few lessons locally and Just surfing you outshine them all as you have the greatest thing to have Which is credentials , experience, knowledge, personal pride, dedication, desire, determination and I can see your like me you put your money where your mouth is. I am singing up!
Wow! That was fantastic. I was a singer as a kid, always in the choir. But when my voice changed I also changed schools and they did not have a choir. I lost how to control my voice, off pitch many times maybe even mostly. Now I am 63 and what I feel I do have is resonance, little bit of confidence and drive. I can see how this will help.
Unaware of my disability related to motor controls in the brain, when I was a kid my mistake was to give up hope on any voice training at all. Now that I'm older, I realized, it could have been overcome. I studied music all the way into college, never training my voice. So now I'm trying to take some baby steps to get basic foundations so I can have a better voice singing as I play music. Thanks for all your videos and tips and knowlege on the voice.

After having radiotherapy on my head and neck, it has damaged parts of my neck which effects speech/singing/swallowing etc. I’ve only just found this video but I’m certain these exercises are going to help me improve. Thank you for sharing!
hey ken great video instruction...I have performed and sang for 20 yrs...been in three bands.. in 2022 was in a fatal accident..broke all my ribs..chest collapsed..neckbones fractured..both legs broken over 80 bones ...my band and I talked after the accident..we put a hold on all shows..that was 8 mo ago..still hurting now..but singing again..and starting guitar again soon..built and designed my own recording studio... still disabled.. but learning to get my levels back..the video was excellent..now..practicing cover songs to get my energy back again.. and hopefully do shows again in 2024..thanks again.. I have been a singer for years and this popped up in my feed. Ken Tamplin is right on the money and reminded of what I've been doing wrong, relaxation and opening the throat. Following along with this video unlocked the notes I was having trouble with that I knew I could hit hard, I was choking myself up and not even realising it. Even as a professional singer, I know can always be better and stretch out my set list with variety. Looking into your courses now Ken, thanks for waking me up!
This is the best foundation to start singing! I’ve never talked to Ken directly, but in 6 months to a year he has made me an amazing singer! He made me a better singer than everyone I know! Thank you Ken! You know your stuff
I never sang or played music instruments ever because I have always thought something was wrong with how it was thought . If I had met your earlier in life I would have been a musician . I am working on my voice hoping to become a voice actor . Your advice on voice spectrum is more than awesome . I practiced along with you . You are awesome.
I didn’t believe I could ever learn to sing after years of failure. This lesson has vastly improved my singing literally overnight. I can’t thank you enough for posting this.
Glas I found your channel back. I once deactivated the abo because I was frustrated about a thing and stopped beeing a musician. After that i was sad i lost your videos. Glad to hear from you again.
I cant thank you enough man, all these other tutorials online do not work this well and are not spoken this efficiently. I have noticed such significant improvement in my voice ever since I clicked on your channel.
Thanks! I'm close to 40 and my anxiety about singing in public has always held me back. I took some occasional classes in my country, but NO ONE gave me so much courage to continue. Thank you very much.
When I get in that place of fear and anxiety, which I still do at times. I remind myself of the lesson I learned while watching turtles. They can only move forward when they're willing to stick their neck out. And then about how, by my risking sticking out, I've now been able to experience my music bringing joy to others. To see their inner light shine, as smiles fill their faces, because I've been somehow able to touch them in that moment. May not happen overnight, but well worth the journey to get there. If you have not already, I hope you get to experience this at least once in your life. But getting there will require sticking your neck out, stepping forward when you want to stay hidden away in your shell. Also, when starting out, spoken words, sudden sounds and movements from your audience, may distract you while you're trying to sing. Especially when already dealing with anxiety. I found that practicing in front of a TV, it's sounds and screen action competing with my singing, helped me learn to stay focused on the song I was singing, get past this challenge. Good luck. Enjoy your musical journey.
I dont have as much experience or well pointed words as buddy who commented before me, my advice is remember that the crowd wants you to be good, they are all pulling for you, as am I, do your shit with your head held high
I had a couple wonderful vocal coaches back at McNally when they were around despite one of them didn’t do much singing himself. The other was a heavy smoker and while on pitch and melodic she was good, not great but she went through the vocal exercises perfectly and it was life changing. She trained me just over two octaves and I could’ve probably gone further. I was a Tenor just scraping into alto and sang Don’t Stop Believing. The hardest song I’ve ever worked through. Any tenor ought to understand this. She was the first person to tell me I had a beautiful voice and I immediately wanted to take her home, lol. Joking aside similar techniques to yours and you’ve reignited my desire to bring back that voice. Thanks Ken.
After playing guitar for years, I decided to try vocals. Already after 10 mins I felt completely relaxed and used my diaphragm in a more controlled manner. Thanks for this - got lots of work to do.
I'm genuinely impressed by the efficacy of these warm ups . I HAD been struggling to sing "Simple Man" (the shinedown version) For a while now and after following along with this, let me just say WOW 👌🏻. I've watched and tried 100's if not thousands of videos/techniques over the past 5 years , and sure they definitely helped to improve my singing. But my God this 30 min video just blows everything else out of the water by miles! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING !!! -Shea Matthew
Thank you for making this. Every other video is like 5 min long and just tries to sell a course. Even in real life, I’ve asked vocalist friends for help and they don’t really explain anything or try and *really* help. This is great!
Your a gem Ken I'm a pro and researched coaches and your one of the best. Your teaching methods are great how you communicate your ideas is easy to understand. The most impressive for me is your honesty and skill much respect sir. Thank you for your support. Peace
When you mentioned about not using to much air was interesting, when I tried matching what you're singing and decreasing the amount of air I'm using, the entire tone and character of my voice changes🤘
Oh man IV been wanting to sing for quite some time but IV been too lazy to find a face to face teacher and everything I found sofar on yt was just crap. This is the exact no BS teaching I need. I now consider myself your student and will continue to enjoy the places singing and music take me..
I havnt tried to sing properly since I was in choir as a kid. I've attempted to learn from other tutorials but wasn't successful. My voice would crack and pop it's pretty deep voice now that im 32 lol. The excercises where so easy to follow and your explanation was amazing I followed along and noticed a change even during this video less cracks as I focused on the support and tightening the stomach as I came to the end of the tune. Thank you so much ill definetly be practising these consistently moving forward and I look forward to checking out your courses. Thank you so much you're an absoulate legend!
If I had one single teacher like Ken when I was in school I would had tried not to get kicked out. What a diamond of a human being. Ken if you read this please know how much of a legend you are. Not just your singing, if nothing else you are such a sound person
The control and strength I am acquiring from Your videos like this is so very appreciated , I've never actually had vocal lessons but have sung backgrounds in bands since late '80s. CLYDE HOLLY took it to a new level vocally for me when I met him and got hired (keyboard /back vox BILOXI band) in Biloxi Mississippi in 1995 when he relocated from L.A . I didn't think at age 51 that my vocals could suddenly drastically improve, thank you sir, these lessons you provide have reinspired me vocally and the improvements and understandings of my voice and singing in general are blowing my mind. I can only imagine the improvements that I will acquire after I join your local academy here--- THANK YOU Sir Ken! 🎹🙏
Finally someone who knows exactly what there doing, and someone with some creditableity. I found this video very helpful, especially the bit about muscle memory, I didn't think that would be a factor in singing. Great stuff.
I believe I have followed only 2 percent of whatever he has said and now I can see how good I have become. Guy’s just simply do whatever he said and give yourself a time and look at yourself you will be amazed. He is genius
I’m *just* getting started on my singing journey. I’m one of those that hates the sound of my own voice. I have friends who are pro recording artists/vocalists, and that’s also incredibly intimidating. But…I recorded 2 vids (both upped to my YT) for one of them to critique, and the kudos and positive feedback have been incredibly encouraging. I’ve rewatched the better of the two vids I recorded about 50 times, and I’m starting to *accept* my vocal tones…don’t like my voice yet, but starting to not hate it. Picking up KTVA 2.0 this week, after I get a pre-sales question answered. Hopeful, and excited. Up the irons!
Mr. Tamplin, this is excellent! As a 63 year old drummer/singer in a local classic rock and blues band, I appreciate the training and techniques to advance beyond being an "average" vocalist. As a baritone who always wanted to be tenor, it is helpful to learn some new exercises and techniques to help expand my range and give more vocal sustainability. In addition, your teaching style is very open and engaging. Thanks again !
This was so fun!! I had just figured this out on some karaoke songs I was practicing. Practicing that transition is definitely HUGE! This exercise wore me out in 30 seconds!! Not accustomed to so much back pressure! I look forward to conquering this video.
27:42 u2 23:11 Higher up you go need more strength in abdomen to hold up the note Don’t blame throat but diaphragm 23:58 open throat relaxation response = like doctor wants to see your tonsils
Wow this tutorial has helped better than some that I paid for and wasn’t satisfied. You really break down the steps much better than other vocal coaches . Some of the other vocal coaches may sing well but dont break down the steps to sing better as well as you do . Thank you very much Ken.
I've got my voice lessons and coach 3 months ago, she is really supportive and knows her stuff.. Still got problem with intonation but my hearing is "waking up", making progress slowly and this video helps a lot with warming up and clearing my mind. Thank you 😄
Ken..i wanna take my time and i said thank you for your content..when i first started on july/august 2020, i could barely hit D4 properly(im a baritone)..and now, its a march 2021 i have gained A#4 as my highest chest..you're right and you did save me a lot of time and frustration..your free tutorial are so mind-blowing..i cant even imagine what will happen once i bought the full course ..hopefully, once i have save enough money
I been taking singing lessons for 4 months had to stop going for pernal resons after a month of doing just this i can feel the inprobment thank you very much teacher for shering your talent good bless sorry my english in not perfecto lol
There have been times in life where my voice has been angelic. I wish I knew how I did that because it blows my mind that I’m capable of that. That’s partly what keeps me motivated. Know that I can sing like that and just need to figure out how
Solid Foundation that I needed. I just did not know how to approach the voice training and here your vid is such a life saver. Thanks for sheparding the dark and spreading the pure gold knowledge.
I can’t wait til I’m able to actually afford some personal lessons, I feel like you’ll be able to help me get my voice working well and right. I’ve always been told I have a good voice i just need more training, and it’d be nice to be able to sing as well as utilizing my guitar abilities.
This was genuinely so much fun, just sat making silly yet useful noises in my room. Being able to laugh and enjoy learning techniques has really built my confidence.
40 records, over 30 years of experience touring the world (Ken is modest), various movie and TV credits. Not a lot of vocal coaches have such impressive credentials as Ken Tamplin. Wow, Ken is amazing! I would dare say Ken is the gold standard of vocal coaching. I’m totally impressed by the depth and breadth of his vocal training knowledge. 🤩
28 min into this video I went and applied it to the hip hop song I'm working on and it went from clearly not knowing what I'm doing to a hit song for real! I'm confident that its only up from here! Thank you Ken
Craziest thing, I lost track of time and couldn’t believe 30 minutes flew by. Mr. Tamplin you have a gift 🙏 and I am thankful to have randomly come across this.
Ken I've been watching your TH-cam videos for years now. All great stuff. In the last several years, I've learned moving my capo around on my guitar helps me tremendously. First, I've discovered singing in Eb, Ebm, Bb and Bbm are really good keys for me. So playing a lot of songs with the capo on the 3rd fret is huge. Also, if playing without a capo, tuning down to Eb is great. Though, being a baritone, I like the capo as it makes the guitar pitched higher and brighter with my voice, (think David Coverdale), is optimal. I mention all this because I think a video or two on this topic specifically would benefit a lot of singers - especially those who play guitar and sing. Anyway, keep up the great work! You're the Jedi Master of voice!
This is my third day of doing these at work. I do these at work because I’m alone for usually 2 hours cleaning a store. Me and my brother always play instruments (he’s the drummer) and I recently just starting singing while I play my Guitar and I’m certain these are going to help me with my singing. Thanks for this amazing video 👍👍
@shadyspades, my signings got way better, I’ve learned how to improve my vibrato and sound way way better now and can sing a lot longer, this past new years we played at a wedding and it was my first time getting my voice out there and lots of people who know me personally were very surprised, hahaha. All is doing well just gotta improve my vocal range somehow now
Tip #1: Support!! Eons ago my aunt (an opera singer) would give me vocal lessons and constantly poke me in the gut and say "From here... from here... you must sing from here!!!" 😂
Hey Ken! I've a studio audition in a few hours now. Though I found this video a while back, this works magic whenever I prepare for a big stage. Love from India❤
I just started doing these lip drills starting last week. I have taken a lot of vocal lessons and my coaches never had me do this. Anyway, the first couple of times I could not do them. I have done them daily since I found Ken online and voila! I can do do them somewhat, and I know they will continue to get better. Boy, I was amazed at how much those lip drills relaxed my mouth and face. And, I am 56 years young LOL. Thank you Ken!
At 25:25 the root note / low note you’re landing on at the end of the scales sounds so bad ass. Landing in that low note with the bravado wave and grungy in it. I’d like to hear you sing Fade by stain. You’ve got it figured out my guy. Hell of a singer and even better teacher.
I'm new in vocals and I even don't know anything about singing but this video revived my passion to learn on how to sing because I have tried practicing but it gets me no where and I stop trying again but this video helps me to try harder. Thank you
Hi Ken, just wanted to thank you for putting out content for us. I've been singing a little bit everyday and now after a couple of months I heard myself sound kinda decent and I felt so happy 😂 also, love your shirt! Love you bro
I never learned to sing, but I learned tuvan throat singing techniques so whenever I start doing scales i just slip right into kargyraa- gotta get rid of all that muscle memory lol
Appreciate you Ken! Just starting from scratch with your classes! I used to sing in 2nd-5th grades and sang throughout my life in church choir and than at work at several festivals. Over the years, I have found a desire to unlearn and relearn my vocal skills as I have aged 😅. I love to Karaoke 🎤 and do that a bit more consistently over the past two years. I have karaoked at many different cities at awesome pubs, clubs and taverns where there happens to be a professional DJ. I also sang with a live rock band this year in Atlanta and got a taste of my range. (Wichita, Atlanta, Memphis, Philly, Nashville, Nola, Orlando) happen to be my favorite singing spots so far. I have also been “smuling” with folks around the world and found that exhilarating, just from the experience itself. I am looking to watch your YT videos and continue to learn and grow through your channel. Just came back from watching Judas Priest and Queensryche in concert at Southaven, MS and I must say (Rob Halford, Geoff Tate, Todd La Torre, Bruce Dickinson, Lajon Witherspoon, Dave Mustaine, David Coverdale) are my all time favorite vocal singers.
I just started learning how to sing like a couple weeks ago, and this information is amazing!! I have gotta lot learn but I am confident that I can learn to sing.
I do love your instruction and your reviews of singers. I send my daughter your videos. She has a beautiful voice and I wish she would continue to pursue perfecting her talent. She had a great voice coach as a teen. My daughter has a huge lack of confidence. Sending her all of this information.
My only hobby these days is playing guitar. I do work alot in a grocery store, but its nice to have something else to do aswell. Thanks Ken. This is basically what I needed to get started. I have been singing for a while obviously, but the voice is not like my guitar. When I play, I know that I can almost 100% practise whatever I want to without any compromise. With my voice, I am always afraid to do something wrong. I do have my moments where I think I sound pretty good, but I dont want to learn the wrong way or develop bad habits.

I'm in the tenor range. I used to hate my puny voice but now that I started singing I've realised lots of the songs I like are in that range
Awesome!

for the one of the best proofs of how good is his technique is by hearing the clean tone of his voice after so many years.
This exact what I have telling my students as I am a professional bowler /coach /ball drilling technician for over
50 years and have said “You can’t put a roof on a house without starting with the foundation first. Then come the walls, etc
Right now we’re digging a hole for the foundation “
I have taken a few lessons locally and
Just surfing you outshine them
all as you have the greatest thing to have
Which is credentials , experience, knowledge, personal pride, dedication, desire, determination and I can see your like me you put your money where your mouth is.
Glad they're helpful! Rock on!
5:00 diaphragmatic support is what’s gonna help with relaxation response so don’t start mounting tension in throat
5:18 open throat technique/lah bright ping
is to build clarity in tone in throat to build resonance/ natural volume
Then build muscle memory for strength endurance range pitch etc
Prob the switching between vowels while keeping open throat relaxed muscle memory
21:22 build chest w lah bright ping
Must be built correctly to then build passagio and head
To have consistency with notes and everything
Glad you are on the mend!
@@kentamplin thanks man!! I appreciate it.. keep up those great video's
Sorry to hear about your misfortune.. can we get an update please? Hope you're getting back on your feet
Amazing! I am so happy to hear that, Michael!
@@kentamplin and you gave me a veteran discount on the class! I’m blessed to have this in my life!
@@smoothvoodoo1317 very cool...I'm a veteran too. Is there a link for the discount? Thanks in advance
@@smoothvoodoo1317 question
I never sang or played music instruments ever because I have always thought something was wrong with how it was thought .
If I had met your earlier in life I would have been a musician .
I am working on my voice hoping to become a voice actor .
Your advice on voice spectrum is more than awesome .
I practiced along with you .
You are awesome.
I didn’t believe I could ever learn to sing after years of failure. This lesson has vastly improved my singing literally overnight. I can’t thank you enough for posting this.
That's great!
Glas I found your channel back. I once deactivated the abo because I was frustrated about a thing and stopped beeing a musician. After that i was sad i lost your videos. Glad to hear from you again.
Here's the channel with all the videos: www.youtube.com/@kentamplin
I cant thank you enough man, all these other tutorials online do not work this well and are not spoken this efficiently. I have noticed such significant improvement in my voice ever since I clicked on your channel.
You're very welcome!
This video completely changed my life. I've always wanted to be able to sing. I saw this video months ago and I just came back to say thank you.
Ken you are the best. I will keep learning with you!
Greetings from China!
I've learned a lot about singing over the years and still the lessons here are priceless!
There's no one like ya, Ken. God bless you!
Rock on!
You can do it!
I am doing this now at midnight and I am sure my mother and my neighbors think that I am being possessed by midnight ghosts. 😆
I always end up on these videos after listening to Chris Stapleton videos late at night...
i went to the car for that exact reason 😹
🤣🤣
And i thought it's just me🤣
Read this exactly at midnight lmao
I havnt tried to sing properly since I was in choir as a kid. I've attempted to learn from other tutorials but wasn't successful. My voice would crack and pop it's pretty deep voice now that im 32 lol. The excercises where so easy to follow and your explanation was amazing I followed along and noticed a change even during this video less cracks as I focused on the support and tightening the stomach as I came to the end of the tune. Thank you so much ill definetly be practising these consistently moving forward and I look forward to checking out your courses. Thank you so much you're an absoulate legend!
“HEY! ….been trying to meet you”.- The Pixies (1989)
All I could think of at 13:13 lol.
Great to hear! Rock on!
Finally someone who knows exactly what there doing, and someone with some creditableity. I found this video very helpful, especially the bit about muscle memory, I didn't think that would be a factor in singing. Great stuff.
Glad it was helpful! The proof is in the singing!
Following your instructions literally just "unlocked" singing for me. I never realized I could sing like this! Thank you so much! God bless you!
Good for you! Awesome!
Mann.. It feels like you changed my life
God bless you.
I appreciate people actually dedicated to teaching others their craft
This was so fun!! I had just figured this out on some karaoke songs I was practicing. Practicing that transition is definitely HUGE! This exercise wore me out in 30 seconds!! Not accustomed to so much back pressure! I look forward to conquering this video.
27:42 u2
23:11 Higher up you go need more strength in abdomen to hold up the note
Don’t blame throat but diaphragm
23:58 open throat relaxation response = like doctor wants to see your tonsils
Best coaching video IV found so far, I can really feel and hear the improvement across the duration of the exercises, thank you!
Wow this tutorial has helped better than some that I paid for and wasn’t satisfied. You really break down the steps much better than other vocal coaches . Some of the other vocal coaches may sing well but dont break down the steps to sing better as well as you do . Thank you very much Ken.
Oh my goodness. You explained things about my voice that I could never put into words. You’ve earned another subscriber.
I've got my voice lessons and coach 3 months ago, she is really supportive and knows her stuff.. Still got problem with intonation but my hearing is "waking up", making progress slowly and this video helps a lot with warming up and clearing my mind. Thank you 😄
Solid basics. You can't go wrong. Thanks for a refresher Ken.
My pleasure.
I really appreciate that, Kurosaki! I'm thrilled that the content is helping you on your path. Rock on!
Know that I can sing like that and just need to figure out how
Keep at it, TheMexeking! I have a ton of videos on here to help you as well as my online course.
I'm only half way through the video and you're already my favorite teacher of all time! I'm so grateful, thank you!!
I can’t even do the lip vibration thing.
Thank you.
28 min into this video I went and applied it to the hip hop song I'm working on and it went from clearly not knowing what I'm doing to a hit song for real! I'm confident that its only up from here! Thank you Ken
This has to be the best male vocal lesson on TH-cam
Rock on!
Guys my dad just said my voice has sound like it’s improved a little bit recently
@@duanejrcarriere5997 That's awesome! How's it going now?
@shadyspades, my signings got way better, I’ve learned how to improve my vibrato and sound way way better now and can sing a lot longer, this past new years we played at a wedding and it was my first time getting my voice out there and lots of people who know me personally were very surprised, hahaha. All is doing well just gotta improve my vocal range somehow now
I’m back here because I’ve been lacking in vocal exercises because of being at school but I’m back here now to practice again
Tip #1: Support!! Eons ago my aunt (an opera singer) would give me vocal lessons and constantly poke me in the gut and say "From here... from here... you must sing from here!!!" 😂
wow .. i went throught the whole 30 minutes video and I could do the whole thing, pretty dope
Hey Ken! I've a studio audition in a few hours now. Though I found this video a while back, this works magic whenever I prepare for a big stage. Love from India❤
I think this is the best basic singing vid on line, thank you, you've done wonders for my voice, God bless.
Yep. You know EXACTLY what you're talking about. I pray God blesses you for sharing this with us. Thanks Ken!!!!!!!
The Best teacher in the world ! This Chanel is a. Mine of Gold!
That is awesome!
Boy do I need this! I am generally ok singing into a mic with a band behind me, but actually projecting into the air is intimidating.
25:50 for if you return to this video frequently because it's such an incredible warmup and you just want the whole warmup part
Awesome!
I like how Ken says you have to take time to wake up the voice. This is the ultimate key. 👌 ✨️
You got this! And if you want to check out my course the sale ends today. join.kentamplinvocalacademy.com/offers/GxMVyWSu/checkout
I am a guitar player first, have been playing since I was 11 years old officially, in unofficially since I was about 6.
I thought you just started learning!
For me the key to success was learning where to resonate, mouth and throat shape for various tones.
I don't sing, but I follow your videos and your job anyway. They're very interesting. Hi from Italy!
Awesome! Thank you!
