1971 Scottish Tune / Hymn. A young Rick Wakeman on piano. I have chosen to record this because of its unadulterated pianoyness When I first got this piano it was one of the first songs I tried out on it because it shows off the rich octave base notes a high end grand piano emits. The key changes are delicious. It flips between D and C and the transitions both ways are amazing. - เพลง

I started learning to play piano just over 2 months ago, and watching you, listening to you play, I am filled with like panic and excitement, a little confusion too cuz I am really close to weeping. Lol. Clearly, I don't know what I am feeling, all I know is that this is one of the most incredible things I have ever listened to in my entire life. I'm already 24, only just beginning, but you are officially my "#pianogoals". I wanna know what it feels like to piano someone's emotions into choas like you just did to me today!

I think you feel this way because you are finding out that music can be more than something you just listen to, but can be something that you do and feel and embrace. Nothing sounds better than hearing your own playing. I think you can learn faster at 24 than younger if you have the time and the desire. I encourage you to keep going because you are at the start of a very exciting journey.

Thank you 3D - yes, I like fat chords and always have. I was disillusioned as a piano student by how thin and watery the harmonies were, often just a single tune in each hand.
It is the best version I've heard so far as well. I would also be interested in a sheet music or midi. But I found a cover very close to this one. Google Morning has Broken easy piano.

Thank you Philip. It is taking me time to figure out how to get the best out of this piano and I keep discovering new things on a daily basis. The old Roland only had a couple of piano samples with the different presets just being different EQs of the same sample. Each piano on this Nord was sourced from a different real piano so there is much more scope for blending them with good results.
Can you please make a tutorial or a transcription? The best piano cover I’ve seen!

The nord sounds excellent, it has a perfect sound but it sounds low on some videos, do you connect it directly to the recorder or is it a microphone? , But has a very good sound quality is a spectacular keyboard, and paul wells is a perfect pianist, greetings from chile
Hi Alonso. Thanks for your comment. I am aware of this problem. I used to use the normalise function in iMovie after editing the sound. Something has change in iMovie and it now sounds distorted if I let it set the level. So instead I have been guessing the level manually and mostly getting it a bit too low.
Try using the program you used with the Roland
Lots has changed since then. I have a new mac which has no stereo sound input, so I have to use a separate box to convert audio to USB input. The normalise function on iMovie no longer works correctly.
That is the problem, then, I would give you a Windows PC, but you live too far, but try to get one, or you can also download some program that works as a volume compressor for MAC, which could be a solution, , Your nord sounds spectacular, and you're the king of the keyboard.
Thank you Alonso, you are very kind. I will take a bit more care setting the level in future - normalising it manually. This soundtrack was set to 150% - but clearly even that was not enough to bring it up to the standard level.

The accused individuals were released on bail and are expected to appear in court on Friday morning.

Thank you Noel. I think the early 1970s was a tough time to get a good sound even with the best equipment available. Digital instruments and recording now make it easy to get a very clear bright sound.
