"Morning Has Broken" is a Christian hymn first published in 1931. It has words by English author Eleanor Farjeon and was inspired by the village of Alfriston in East Sussex, then set to a traditional Scottish Gaelic tune, "Bunessan" It is often sung in children's services and in funeral services. I sang this in Sunday school in the late 1950's and early 1960's. The song became identified with Stevens due to the popularity of his recording. Writing credit for "Morning Has Broken" has occasionally been erroneously attributed to Cat Stevens.

The G7 fingering is played 1 fret higher. The handle in the overlay above is wrong. On the guitar, on the other hand, it is played correctly. Otherwise everything is perfect and super played.
and you could probably (more easily?) play an "open" G7 -with 3rd fret/6th string; 2nd fret/5th string; open D, G, and B strings; 1st fret/1st string. This is a great lesson though, overall.
