Your editing is like a work of art! Absolute perfection. And great sense of humour! My hubby and I watched your video together, dreaming of our own cycle tour across Europe. He got sentimental about his ride down the Danube (EV6). Subscribed! 😍
Amazing hyperlapse/cinematography/in-camera transition/editing/sound design and, yes, ...nice trip too. A master class in how to do a bike travel video.
Cycling the Eurovelo 6 was one of my travel highlights, and I'm really looking forward to my next long distance cycling trip. Dude! I have watched a lot of biketouring/-packing videos and non of them are in any way as good as yours. Mostely because of the editing, shots and video quality itself. It just looks amazing. Such a shame it only has a couple of tousands of views. Brilliant!!
Yeah. Really nice videography and editing. I will try harder :-) Looks like a great trip. I can get travelogues and technical biking tips on TH-cam but it's nice to have a journey encapsulated so beautifully. Well done.
The cinematography and editing are outstanding! I'm late to seeing this, but it's really underrated. I'm planning on biking Eurovelo 6 next year, but I'm a solo girl. Did you feel relatevly safe camping? Do you have any tips on reasearch and planning?
Heey, thank you so much :). We did feel relatively safe camping most of the time, but then we we're a couple so it might feel a little different alone. It also was harder to wild camp after France because it's not quite as accepted. Other than knowing the route we didn't do too much planning, we just took each day at a time as its easy to find food and water en-route. Good luck and hope you have fun!
The editing skills are def on point great job! and i hope i can do the same one day. Im looking into a steel bike to do a huge tour like this in the future ^_^
Beautifully shot and edited, but I wish you had skipped the 'nomads' bit. People touring with plenty of money, fancy gear, and a nice home to go back to are not nomads. They're on holiday.
Hey! We did it with road bikes but got a few punctures on the gravelly bits. If I were to do it again I'd take something that could handle the gravel batter.
Hey! We had road bikes, but I got a lot of punctures from gravel paths so I would probably choose something a bit more durable if I were to do it again. We just put our camping stuff in the panniers on the back. We had to be pretty minimal, but it wasn't too hard :)
Hey, it's hard to remember exactly but it's fairly mixed. I'd say maybe there's slightly more bike path than road. But most of the road sections were fairly quiet so it never felt like an issue. Are you planning on doing the route?
@@jonospursuitofthewild7755 idk where I'm riding yet but I'm planning a bike tour somewhere later this summer. Hopefully by then Europe is somewhat open for US tourists.
am looking at cycling Eurovelo 6 in 2023. thanks for the vid.
holy shit, these editing skills are on point!
Agreed!
Subscribed after 23 seconds. What an intro 🙏🏻

Has there ever been a more engaging intro to a Bikepacking film? We don't think so. Wow.
What, what a fantastic film. Really beautifully put together! Thank you so much.

Cheers man

I think you are better at editing than riding a BIKE ACROSS EUROPE :)
Me too!!
Beautifully shot and edited, but I wish you had skipped the 'nomads' bit. People touring with plenty of money, fancy gear, and a nice home to go back to are not nomads. They're on holiday.
Very true, I guess I was very liberal with the poetic licence. Glad you liked it otherwise
You've got vision..
Congrats!! is the EV6 possible to do with a road bike or better with a gravel bike etc?
Hey! We did it with road bikes but got a few punctures on the gravelly bits. If I were to do it again I'd take something that could handle the gravel batter.
Great video!
I'm just wondering: are you an experienced cyclist or was this a first bikepacking trip?
First time 🙂
What kind of bikes do you guys have? And how is it possible to get all your camping stuff on it?
Hey! We had road bikes, but I got a lot of punctures from gravel paths so I would probably choose something a bit more durable if I were to do it again. We just put our camping stuff in the panniers on the back. We had to be pretty minimal, but it wasn't too hard :)
Europe nice roads. Try middle asia and russia
What did you shoot this with?!?!
It was the canon m3 🙂
How much of this route is on bike paths and not roads with cars?
