    Looks really nice! Since there’s allot of sand in there I was wondering if it’s buffering your water. What’s the ph measured?

      Sand is innert, it doesn’t not impact the water hardness or ph. Only aragonite sand which is not actually sand or crushed coral, will alter pH.

    Looking good.
    How many times a day do you feed your beta's and how many time a week is that live-food, especially baby brine shrimp?
    Because when I got young guppies I actually feed them nothing else than baby brine shrimp.
    Only if a batch crashed or a feed in between I would use flakes, and that be 5 meals a day when they new born.
    slowly turning that to twice a day in the span of 6 - 8 weeks (8 weeks 3 then at 12 weeks twice a day like the adults get)
    I really think it is the brine shrimp since that is packed with all the good things, including fat...
    A fat baby is a healthy baby, just like with humans, they need it to grow fast.

      @pnwbettas  ปีที่แล้ว

      Nope. Any dust from the tank will get removed though water changes during the cycling process

    I have a question can I keep neon tetra in this type tank

    • @pnwbettas
      @pnwbettas  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, I would just use a slightly stronger water pump so that you give them some water flow.
