Great to see you guys back making videos! I'm thinking of getting an engine ready in slow time for my D2 when current one finally gives up the ghost, seeing this has been very informative. I'd love for your video covering engine removal to be almost step by step instructional, I havent yet seen a well shot, well choreographed TD5 removal/reinstallation for a D2.
Test the " copper" seals with a magnet it's amazing how many " copper" washers stick to it, I found out the hard way so now I test all sealing washers with a magnet, look forward to seeing the swap.
Use only genuine copper seals, and use an injector puller to remove injectors. You can use a pry bar, but the head is delicate in that area. Good luck and hope to see the engine running soon
I may be wrong but everyone seems to advise using the oem injector seals as the aftermarket ones are rubbish . They are expensive but buy cheap buy twice !
I find it easier pulling the accessory block with the power steering pump water pump off to do the water pump it's only held onto the main engine with 5 bolts and 1 stud and it's one o ring seal to the block
@@TirsbaekTV Okay, I'm looking forward to it with my father. And my father also drives a Defender 90 td5, approximately the same color, slightly darker (greetings Belgium)
Glad you're back again boys, love your stuff.
Good to see you guys back again. As already said, test those copper seals with a magnet. A lot of aftermarket ones are just copper coloured steel.

Surprised you haven't been out enjoying the weather the last week!

Nice to see you back 👍
Dont use cheap parts! Especially injector loom and seals. You will only end up doing them again.
Endelig tilbage! Stærkt! Har selv købt en Defender, efter at have set jeres videoer :)

My favourite channel on TH-cam is back!!
great to see you back!! :)
If you use aftermarket copper washers just anneal them to make them soft.
Do the "option B" mod for the abs, likely no need to replace the part...
Check the oil cooler whilst you have the motor out!
Time to do a M57 Swap! Lets go!
Actually forgot all about this channel 😮
We were gone for a while 😄
10:00. Fell off the forklift. Careless operator. Seen it all too many times.
