I agree to always check the vases holding artificial flowers. Several years ago I was doing a clean out, and there was a huge bowl sitting on the dining room table filled with the nastiest dust filled arrangement. I took the entire piece out on the deck to dump the flowers in a large black plastic bag. I turn the bowl over and it was marked Tiffany, Sterling Silver. It was sold at auction for over $5,000.00 .... Happy Dance....Happy Dance!!!!
Jocelyn, we at Hamburg Antiques Center thank you for advertising our recent sale. It was a great success; several of your viewers stopped by. We managed to move out a fair amount of items to make way for new inventory.
So glad this place brought your spirits back up and put those dimples back on your face. Thanks for the hard work keeping the non-stop monologue going to drown out that awful music.
I know that feeling of excitement at being at a new place. Shopping the same stores over and over gets too routine. Glad you had fun, and you got some great pieces!
14:38. Those are my parents’ wedding pottery from 1969. They found more at a garage sale - enough to have a set for all 3 daughters. I have washed those things for every family dinner and holiday meal since 1975! ☺️
This video was fun because it was a different Goodwill. My eyes were going everywhere looking at all the items as you were shopping. You have to take a trip back sometime with Dagney.
Usually if you look at the top of your GW receipt it will tell you where you are and thus where you purchased the items. Love shopping with you. I am amazed at your brain full of knowledge and retention of it, like a computer.
I don’t know if anyone has already said it. But that Frill purse was actually a retired Vera print. It’s called Viva la Vera. They did a line with the plastic material
That Gitano purse probably would have done quite well since that was a well-known clothing brand in the 80's and 90's. People love the 90's vintage! Also I totally would have snagged that blue rooster mug for me - but only my personal preference. Now I'm going to be on the look out for one!
You know...I have YOU to credit for helping me decipher Bill Campbell's signature...so THANK YOU! I bought one of his cookie trays for a few dollars at my local Goodwill a few months ago...have been holding onto it and NOT listing it because I KNEW it was something special, but couldn't figure it out. Once you helped me figure it out, I listed it and sold it QUICKLY to a gentleman who buys Campbell pieces for his daughter. He was so grateful and asked where he could find more Campbell, so I pointed him in the direction of your shop. You have helped me up my re-selling game from clothes, shoes and bags to now include home goods...BIG thanks to you :)
The old, vintage Pfaltzgraff has some beautiful and unique pieces! I am like you in that I do not care for the newer pieces but, perhaps, you could pick up some of those old cool ones and just see how they do!! They are nothing like the modern pieces at all!! This was a fun video and it was great to see you enjoying yourself!! Take care Jocelyn! 💕
Because many years ago they were sued by a manufacturer for selling their brand name goods. They have been covering the makers mark with the stickers ever since.
For my friends bday I took her on a thrifting day this was one of our stops on our circuit . We had a scavenger hunt we played for a list of items as we thrifted. It was great fun. As tribute to you praying hands were on the list.
Joc, the Silly Wabbit on skis, made in USA was vintage (80s or so). The black, scary, plastic thing was to be used for a mold for making your own, I have a feeling. Gitano was very popular back in the 80s and were overall well made. It is worth looking up vintage Gitano bags, purses, etc. in good condition. ( :
You got alot of very nice items for $45. Sell the Couroc tray and you'll be close if not entirely pay for the rest of your treasures. I really like the polish ring holder and the cherry Italian dish. Great eye today!
I would have loved to buy that Nambe coffee canister. Their items are very good quality and fit in well with MCM. You found some great items today. TFS! 💙
Wow!! This is my hometown Goodwill. It was fun to see your reactions to some of the same pieces that I recently saw there as well. Glad you enjoyed your stop. Oh, town is Burnham, pronounced Burn-um.
Love the new style camera bag I have a vintage camera purse.. and was given a change purse that looks like a small camera, also have a lens coffee cup to go with...
00:03 Ohoho! Couroc, and a Couroc owl! 02:12 It's "gitano," with a G. That's the Spanish and Italian word for a gypsy/Rom person. 02:58 With the green colour and the applied crazing, it makes me think of a bunch of alligators. 04:04 And now you know what a restaurant-sized bottle of mustard looks like! 06:21 Perhaps it's a canister for holding a set of fireplace tools. 07:29 Tara is very much alive and well in Galway. We've sold their stuff new at our shop in Texas. It's nice stuff.
I am glad you found this GOODWILL with friendly people after the not very friendly people at that antique mall. You got some really good things.Maybe come here more often? I wonder if you picked up the little Vera Bradley(?)bag that was in the bin but you didn’t know if you were allowed to get it out of the bin..
I’m just so dog toned happy about this baby coming soon! A Gemini….she’s going to be very active, smart and I r3commend lots of books and mental stimulation. She’ll love it. Pls I hope u share the baby with us! I’m totally invested and so happy for your entire family….Andrew take good care of her now!
Oh my goodness, I just found that same Campbell oil lamp at a local GW in Southwest Virginia. Same design and glaze. Was fairly sure the signature was Campbell. Now I’m 💯. Thanks!
I laughed every time you picked up a piece of Pfaltzgraff! You might as well embrace your attraction to it, and start collecting it while it’s easy to find, and reasonably priced!
Nice goodwill. When my Mom passed away a few years ago, I found a few couroc trays, one w the owl. Perfect condition, never used. I ALMOST tossed them until a friend came by and offered me 300.00 for it. I kept it. Hope yours does better than 35!
Joycelyn you have a wonderful way of attracting more and more of your new favorite things into your life…i.e.…your newest favorite thing….Bill Campbell Pottery. 😀 Like I said the other day…the newest find is even prettier than the last. I’m hoping you find one just like the one I found. Of course it won’t be exactly the same because they are handmade, but mine was a teapot with a little snob-nose spout. It had the most wonderful earth and water tone colors in the glaze. It was amazing how the colors blended together. I’ve been kicking myself for not keeping it ever since I sold. I’m hoping to find a cup or a bowl in the same shades so I can own a small piece. 🥰🌈
Hi Jocelyn. Great haul at the new Goodwill. It may be small but it seemed alot bigger inside.I live all the pieces you picked up today. Maybe you could try this on
hola mi inglés no es muy bueno pero quiero decirte que no se como tienes energía para Acer tu trabajó cuídate mucho y felicidades por tu nena que todo este bien
Nappy Dishes are also called berry bowls. They're called that because the word nappy is derived from the words "nap" or "knapf" meaning a rimless, small, open bowl
just to let you know some of your videos are not being listed in notifications for subscribed members, this is one of them. storage auction pirate (from you tube) asked his viewers to contact you tube to complain because they say there's not a problem, but there is.
I think your UK friends ask you why you call that dish nappy, because nappy to them is diaper. 🤣🤣🤣. So I can see why they might think it's weird. That's funny!! 😊. Hope your hanging in there mamma.
I really liked the baseball lamp ⚾️⚾️⚾️ My son plays baseball. We just came home from a baseball tournament today and have another one tomorrow. It would look good in his room. He has one already but not like that one . Loved the items you got and liked seeing this new goodwill 😘
Most oxidized metals can be restored with a metal polish called Simichrome ,which is also popular to check for bakelite. This is how i found a lot of my treasures because people refrain from picking up discolored metal thinking it's damaged. Don't be afraid to pickup brass , it can easily be restored to it's original color which is the most beautiful gold like color.
How funny! You were attracted to the purple handbag but turned off by the plastic covering. Frill is a logo brand for Vera Bradley for their purses with that plastic covering!
That Italy vase, black and red, reminded me of the guards at the Vatican, lol. I apologize for my ignorance if they're not guards, and I know they're quite different outfits, but it still brought my mind there. 😊
I agree to always check the vases holding artificial flowers. Several years ago I was doing a clean out, and there was a huge bowl sitting on the dining room table filled with the nastiest dust filled arrangement. 😳 WOW🎉 GOOD FOR YOU!
That’s awesome I love stories like this that stick it to Goodwill.
Gitano is vintage 80's. I wore Gitano jeans in junior high and high school!
Lol I was going to post this also
Yep!
Yes giant and esprit! Lol
Indeed!
So did I! 😊
Jocelyn, we at Hamburg Antiques Center thank you for advertising our recent sale. It was a great success; several of your viewers stopped by. We managed to move out a fair amount of items to make way for new inventory.
That’s wonderful news!
Omg that red and black vase, I was yelling at the screen for you to go back and pick it up!!! That is big money!!!!
Frill is a line by Vera Bradley. I have one in that same purple print and love that you can wipe it right off.
Whuuut?? I sure didn’t know that!
So glad this place brought your spirits back up and put those dimples back on your face. Thanks for the hard work keeping the non-stop monologue going to drown out that awful music.
You are at the Lewistown (Burham) Goodwill. I go there all the time and always find things. Glad to see you found a few things, too. Sue ❤
So glad that you had a good trip. You Needed it after yesterdays stop.
This was on my way home from the other place. It definitely made up for the disappointment!
Jocelyn zooming in on the purple purse, too funny!
Frill is a Vera Bradley brand purse. I have one and love it!!
I grew up in that area. Dagney stopped there on her trip to their camper. My mom and I shopped there often.
Kathy, I believe we talked a bit there about music!
This video was fun because it was a different Goodwill. My eyes were going everywhere looking at all the items as you were shopping. You have to take a trip back sometime with Dagney.
She goofed on the MURANO RED & BLACK Vase. She lost big time !!!!!!!!!!!
I am glad you mentioned Eric. I didn’t want to ask or mention him, but I had been wondering about him. Hadn’t heard you say his name lately. 🙂
Check out Nambe ware you may be surprised how pricey it can be.
Usually if you look at the top of your GW receipt it will tell you where you are and thus where you purchased the items. Love shopping with you. I am amazed at your brain full of knowledge and retention of it, like a computer.

Crazy! The little vase you picked up at 7:30 I just bought 2 matching tea cups at auction!
Y'all have such great/stocked Goodwill stores in PA and areas around that you travel to.
Glad this store was good to you. ☕😎☕
Nappy dish derived from Middle English work nap or knapf for small rimless bowl
Great video! I have a shell cup and saucer listed for $150.00. Its awsome! The difference between that and a cheaper cup is so different.
Love your videos. Every time you post a video I smile. Thank you!!!
Nappy or lemon dishes are for serving lemon slices at tea time.
I think you missed the tall sand color Mexican vase at 12:44. It was on the top or upper shelf behind the bell that Dagny had bought in the past!
what an awesome store........thanks for taking us along and showing us all that they had to offer!!!
Nambe is a good brand, they’re known for their metal alloy pieces. You can still purchase new items from them and some can sell for good money.
You know...I have YOU to credit for helping me decipher Bill Campbell's signature...so THANK YOU! That’s fantastic! I think one of our team members was the first to decipher the signature. The crystalline pieces are some of my favorites.
Wall moulds = "Plastic doesn't show as much commitment. " haha I like your expressions
The blue pedestal is Old Morgantown Glass. I sold one in the color Gypsy Fire for $30+shipping. Beautiful glass!
Oh I love love love💗💗💗 the🦉 owl🦉 platter....& the cherry plate is pretty darn cute too! Great buys! Thanks for taking me along...it was fun🎉!!
I don't know why, but I love it when you say "schmutz". Its a wonderfully descriptive word!
Wow! I think you hit the gold mine in there. So many nice things!
You made this video so much more fun because you were so excited about it being a new place
Why does Goodwill put the stickers over the makers mark??? Why???
Because many years ago they were sued by a manufacturer for selling their brand name goods. They have been covering the makers mark with the stickers ever since.
For my friends bday I took her on a thrifting day this was one of our stops on our circuit . We had a scavenger hunt we played for a list of items as we thrifted. It was great fun. As tribute to you praying hands were on the list.
Loved the video! In the U.K. nappy is a diaper 😂 Every time you say a ‘nappy dish’ I imagine a royal butler removing a royal dirty diaper lol!!
Joc, the Silly Wabbit on skis, made in USA was vintage (80s or so). The black, scary, plastic thing was to be used for a mold for making your own, I have a feeling. So many shelves we have half of those. Great finds. The cherry dish is lovely
00:03 Ohoho! Couroc, and a Couroc owl!

Where in Texas, I'm in Madisonville

Where is Eric now?
Glad to see you so happy. Thankyou for the video
As some people are asking : Schmutz is the german word for Dirt😊 i always smile, when i hear american people saying schmutz.Sounds so charming🤗
So good to see you have a wonderful day! Great finds, stay safe and be happy!
I am so happy for you. Sometimes we just need a good day.
I would use that brass container you picked up as an umbrella holder.
Just want you to know that I found your videos several months ago, and really enjoy watching them.
Oh my goodness, I just found that same Campbell oil lamp at a local GW in Southwest Virginia. Same design and glaze. Was fairly sure the signature was Campbell. Now I’m 💯. Thanks!

Brinn’s Doll head. Varies.
I sold a Queen Mary couric Sp tray.
Wow my mom used a Shelley paisley teacup for decades! She loved green and paisley.
Nice goodwill. When my Mom passed away a few years ago, I found a few couroc trays, one w the owl. Perfect condition, never used. I ALMOST tossed them until a friend came by and offered me 300.00 for it. I kept it. Hope yours does better than 35!

It’s so much more fun when there is a successful GW shopping spree! 💚💚💚
GITANO. In Italian means GYPSY.
Great trip. That was a good price Considering all the nice things you found.
Nappy Dishes are also called berry bowls. They're called that because the word nappy is derived from the words "nap" or "knapf" meaning a rimless, small, open bowl
That Frill purse you liked was a Vera Bradley. 😜
The lamp was Wedgewood. I've handled hundreds of pieces, so much that I see it in my sleep.
Thanks, Daniel!
Hi Daniel: glad to see you comment again! I learn so much from you. Thanks for all your great info!! 😁
Hallo Daniel, I have missed your comments. Nice to hear from you again. I have learned a lot from you. Many greetings from Germany
Sabine
There is a wooden lid you can buy to put on those glass yogurt containers. Makes a nice decorative reusable storage container for small items.
I think you found some really cute items today! You seemed really happy today. Loved it
Nambe is highly collectible. It originated in New Mexico.
It must be so nice to be tall. I am only 5ft barely and it is so hard to reach the top shelves of anywhere. Lol. 😊
I'm 5'1" and can totally relate. I'm sure I miss alot of good stuff in those top shelves! 🙉
we can see what's on the bottom shelf though 😂
Missed a Tonala vase at 12:43?
That purple bag would be great for baby spitup.
Frame 13:45 Bottom right of the screen. The white mug w/ the woozy face. Looks related to the yellow mug w/ the bloody tears you kept finding.
Gitano use to be a Kmart n Sears brand which eventually sold out to Fashion Bug then FB liquidated n G brand was sold off
just to let you know some of your videos are not being listed in notifications for subscribed members, this is one of them. storage auction pirate (from you tube) asked his viewers to contact you tube to complain because they say there's not a problem, but there is.
16:08 looks like praying hands on brass on the wood cross, spoke to soon you found them. Win win
I think your UK friends ask you why you call that dish nappy, because nappy to them is diaper. 🤣🤣🤣. So I can see why they might think it's weird. That's funny!! 😊. Hope your hanging in there mamma.
Lemon dish does make so much more sense. I’ve always wondered what they were used for
Frill is actually a Vera Bradley. It's actually a pattern that is retired. It was a nice bags.
The Irish Tara piece design is from The Book of Kels
I love thrifting with you. I am like you, those pottery items are just like magnets to me. And lamps, I have way too many.
Frill is a vera Bradley brand.
I really liked the baseball lamp ⚾️⚾️⚾️ My son plays baseball. We just came home from a baseball tournament today and have another one tomorrow. It would look good in his room. He has one already but not like that one . Loved the items you got and liked seeing this new goodwill 😘
I found 2 praying hands yesterday at GW so I have 2 points 😉

New Goodwills are so exciting!!!
Glad you are taking us "Here". Jocelyn, you are great!! And a natural in front of the camera.
"I like it", turns it over, Pfaltzgraff , "I hate it" lol!
The patchwork bear and rocking horse is from Home Enteriors 1980s
11:13!!!!!!!!! That VASE!!!
How funny! You were attracted to the purple handbag but turned off by the plastic covering. Frill is a logo brand for Vera Bradley for their purses with that plastic covering!
That GW seemed to have some great things~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The patchwork rocking horse is so 7O’s. I think I remember those in friends’ baby rooms.
Campbell's Pottery is out of Cambridge Springs, Pa. NW Pa. They are closed and stopped production.
LOVE the camera purse!!
Oh, the claddagh thingy in front of tha nappy dish, I want, whatever it is. Thanks for another fine shop!
Love the Fossil bag!
That Italy vase, black and red, reminded me of the guards at the Vatican, lol. I apologize for my ignorance if they're not guards, and I know they're quite different outfits, but it still brought my mind there. 😊
You’re right, it’s the Swiss Guard.
That Italian vase was awesome. I would have bought it for myself!
Thank you! Just looked them up. What a very interesting history!
SCORE!!!
TFS 💚 CLL
